Being that it's Caremark company, I have mixed feelings about CVS Oyster Creek. They did give me a coupon on a medication that would have cost me $123.00. With coupon it rang up to just shy of $50 dollars. My issue is with the company itself. They don't have much compassion for the customer. Constantly denying coverage on certain medications or dropping one medication just to replace it with another if they replace it at all!!. This happens quite frequently. Claiming to know more than my Doctor by denying me the medication I need. I can't afford full price on most medications. The CVS in Target on 332 is quite helpful and worked extra hard to get my prescription filled for me due to a shortage. But, no coupon was used so I had to pay a big chunk. Next time I will ask for a discount/coupon and see if one is available. read more

Hopefully you don't have to take to Chad. I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the CVS pharmacy today. I recently tested positive for strep throat and used the drive-through to avoid entering the store, as I am contagious and still experiencing a fever. My prescription was called in at 9:00 a.m., and when I arrived around 10:30 a.m., I was told the wait would be two hours. I respectfully asked if my prescription could be prioritized due to my condition. The pharmacist responded in a rude and dismissive manner, questioned why I would complain about the delay, and abruptly ended the interaction but said I would receive a text when ready. CVS Pharmacy - Of Chad - Drugstores Near Me - Lake Jackson, Texas

Our insurance which is also a CVS company sometimes only covers the name brand. CVS 6704 will only fill it with the generic. The insurance company than sends me a letter telling me my prescription is not covered. They also charge more since the prescription is not covered. The pharmacy CVS 6704 said they can't fill the name brand (which is the one covered by their insurance) unless I have a prescription stating it is medically necessary. This creates more problems. This has happened for 2 prescriptions this month. CVS pharmacy nor their insurance company is able to resolve. Depending on who I talk to I get a different story. I am suspicious CVS 6704 added a deceptive prescription, and changed another one. read more

Chad the pharmacist's behavior was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and frankly, unacceptable. He chose to treat me rudely and acted in an aggressive manner openly in front of coworkers and customers for asking how to help my dad pickup Mucinex D through the drive-through (he is handicapped). What's worse--when held accountable, he didn't even have the backbone to give his name, he told me to "go ask someone else" & "figure it out yourself". That says everything about his character. I've already filed formal complaints with CVS Corporate and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, and I'll be sharing video documentation publicly. Would give 0 stars if allowed. Moving my prescriptions from this store. Filled my prescription with the wrong medication. When I brought it to their attention I was told there was no difference in the medications. A simple internet search informed me that they were different formulations. I got the eye roll and laughter from the young women at the counter because they obviously knew more than my doctor. read more

Went to CVS today and as another customer was checking out the worker (I think her name was jasmine) was up in the front. Instead of just helping the customer she decided to YELL at the other worker who looked to be in the aisle putting stuff away to come check them out. WHAT????!!!! Dude. Why have 2 people working if one is just going to yell through the whole store and boss the other one around like that? It was unprofessional to say the least. I noticed the horrible reviews for this CVS before I went so I thought about not going! Glad I did tho. I wish I got her name but she was younger than I (32) and super helpful. I needed to print some pictures for Mother's Day and in the past I've used their printing service but couldn't remember how to use it. After explaining my purpose for coming She immediately brought me over to the kiosk and took me through the process step by step. She kept coming back to check on me while attending to the register. I was printing my sons picture to frame for my wife and mother. She looked at the picture and said "his eyes are beautiful". Every parent enjoys someone to compliment their kid! If I could leave a Zero star, I would. I have ended up moving all my prescriptions to another pharmacy because of the extremely poor customer care and the staff lack of care also. The latest incident has forced me to write a review which I vary rarely will do. Today my adult daughter is sick and her Dr. called in a prescription for a prepackaged antibiotic. When my daughter called CVS she was told the prescription was ready. I went by to pick it up for her and was told they didn't have a prescription for her on file. After about 15 minutes I told them we would figure out what was going on and get back to them. My daughter then talked to the Pharmacist and was told it was on the voicemail and it would be ready in 30 minutes. I waited 30 minutes and drove back up there just to be told it wasn't ready yet. I was asked to pull around if someone pulled up behind me. A lady drove up so I pulled around and got back in line. When that customer was finished I was told the prescription was still not ready. The lady once again asked me to pull around if someone pulled up behind me. I told her "No ma'am. I have waited too long for this prescription already." She then told me if I didn't pull around that she would call the police on me. I told her to "Have a good day."(politely) and left. I know this review probably won't make a difference to CVS but I just couldn't sit here and not let other potential customers know. We are now having the prescription moved to another local pharmacy(Eckerd) who has wonderful service. Because my prescription insurance is CVS Caremark, they pay less if I go to someone other than CVS. It is costing me more money now but it is totally worth it. I have been using CVS pharmacy for many many years and this location is by far the worst one I've ever been in. I went there yesterday to get my allergy meds and the card reader that you have to sign for medication was STILL NOT WORKING!! Same thing happened a month ago. I figured after a month surely they would have it fixed but NOOOO!! And I went on my lunch break. Waisted my time and my break for nothing. And I really needed my meds. I quit going to CVS as soon as the new HEB opened. The CVS pharmacy was insanely slow and the staff was rude. I stopped back by tonight because I thought I could quickly run in and out for a single purchase. Boy, was I wrong. I quickly found what I needed and went to the front counter to find no one there. I waited for a minute before an off duty staff member walked by and knocked on the office door to let the others know there was someone at the counter. The employee inside the office yelled through the door and still didn't come out. By this time I'm not the only one in line and another customer went to the pharmacy to ask them to page someone to the front. Five more minutes passed before anyone came out. This store is a complete joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could rank the CVS in Lake Jackson, Texas less I would. It would be a wonderful location for a pharmacy. This store is such a joke for a pharmacy. I have stayed upset for 2 years now. They will inform you that a prescription is ready and you go the next day to claim and they have put it back on shelf because you took to long. You can take a prescription to the pharmacy and God forbid should you ever think that it will be ready on day and time that they tell you. OR they will say that they never received the script (When I have hand delivered it). Oh and I love when Dr. office calls it in they always loose it. The most recent escapade is I dropped off script from Dr. at 630 on a Sunday evening and was told by attendant it would be ready on Monday at 1000 a.m. I always will wait atleast an extra day to go and see if ready. I went on Tuesday at 600 p.m. and was told that they are out of script and have to order and it won't even be at store till tomorrow. Glad I waited on sunday for them to look it up and give me a time. I believe that in the time I have been forced to use this store, I have received the prescription correct and on a timely manner 3 times. The pharmacist at this store will act as if they know better than a Dr. who prescribed the medication and change it to a generic at there will and not the Doctors. Please, if the Dr. wanted me to have a generic he would have wrote the script for the generic. In closing this is a store that needs to be cleaned out or closed. If you can't even be on time some of the time you should show that the Corporation cares on customer service and timeliness and do a complete house cleaning of staff or close it down.It is totally ridiculous what customers of this store have to go thru to get the prescriptions that they need. read more

Now here I sit for 30 min waiting to pick up a prescription - for the second time when they don't have it ready the first time even though they texted that it was ready. Service at drive-thru is extremely slow, usually at least a 5-minute wait per car. Inside is not much better. I don't know if they are understaffed or if their process of filing and retrieving prescriptions is broken, but the next time I need a refill I will transfer it over to Walgreen's across the street. read more

I hate that I had to act out of character tonight, but we work to hard for things. My mother lost her phone at CVS and someone from the store called my Aunt in Houston and told her the phone was there. My mother went up there twice and they denied it each time. I show up and start asking about the phone, tell them to run the tapes and to find this phone that is in this store. They tell me no about the tapes, that they have to call the police for that to happen. I say call them!! They tell me to leave the store because I am not acting "calm". I said once again call the police. Finally my mother gets me out of the store. She's getting in her car and I'm getting in mine, not even 2 minutes pass and the girl walks up talking about here is the phone. She starts walking towards me I reach out to get the phone, and she motions to me screaming don't touch me!! I'm like, really. She walks to my daughter, I tell her to step away from her and she finally gives the phone to my mother. Then they start telling me to leave the parking lot. I'm pissed, angry, and lost for words.
