Being that it's Caremark company, I have mixed feelings about CVS Oyster Creek. They did give me a…read morecoupon on a medication that would have cost me $123.00. With coupon it rang up to just shy of $50 dollars. My issue is with the company itself. They don't have much compassion for the customer. Constantly denying coverage on certain medications or dropping one medication just to replace it with another if they replace it at all!!. This happens quite frequently. Claiming to know more than my Doctor by denying me the medication I need. I can't afford full price on most medications. The CVS in Target on 332 is quite helpful and worked extra hard to get my prescription filled for me due to a shortage. But, no coupon was used so I had to pay a big chunk. Next time I will ask for a discount/coupon and see if one is available.

Hopefully you don't have to take to Chad. I am writing to…read moreexpress my disappointment with the service I received at the CVS pharmacy today. I recently tested positive for strep throat and used the drive-through to avoid entering the store, as I am contagious and still experiencing a fever. My prescription was called in at 9:00 a.m., and when I arrived around 10:30 a.m., I was told the wait would be two hours. I respectfully asked if my prescription could be prioritized due to my condition. The pharmacist responded in a rude and dismissive manner, questioned why I would complain about the delay, and abruptly ended the interaction but said I would receive a text when ready. I was not asking for special treatment--only professionalism and basic courtesy. The lack of empathy and respect was disappointing.

Christian the Pharmacy Technician filled my daughter's amoxicillin prescription WRONG! (He was very…read morefidgety and weird acting- never made eye contact) He never used protocol of explaining how to administer, although I knew how, I know the policy of any halfway decent pharmacy always explains regardless. I told him the prescription he'd filled didn't look correct, like it wouldn't be enough and that it was not enough. He brushed it off. Antibiotics are to be given for 10 days, but on the exact 5th day the meds had run out. I go back and speak with Jennifer, one of the head Pharmacists. She takes the empty bottle, puts a note on it to call the doctor about the mishap and refills the prescription correctly and advises how to administer and what adverse reactions to look for. She apologized, but then continues (and this is no lie) to explain to me over 5 times about how this could have happened. After the 5th time I tell her that it was Christian (he'd been standing there the whole time, never apologized and tried to act like it was not him that serviced me previously) and that while she didnt need to explain to me 5 times, I do not work in the Pharmacy and that maybe it seems that Walgreens should be training their staff this extensively. I was just glad it wasn't a life of death situation with the dosage of meds. I explained to Jennifer that my mother always counted her pills and they would always be off by 2 or 3. And instead of explaining to me with excuses that she should take my complaint as an opportunity to properly train her staff before these situations turned into something more serious like a lawsuit. She let's me know about Victoria, her partner. Just when I think it's over. Christian calls my phone 2 days later requesting that I call their Pharmacy. Oh God, I'm thinking they've gotten in contact with my child's doctor about how they screwed up and now the dosage is still wrong. I call back immediately and speak with Victoria. Well, she is oblivious as to what is going on. She's telling me to come in and pick up the correct prescription that is now ready. WTF! Are ALL of y'all on drugs over here? The lines of communication and proper training are definitely off, just like the correct filling of Walgreens prescriptions! DO NOT GO HERE! If you value your life!

We've used Walgreens Pharmacy at this location for almost 2 years. They've never been great, but…read moreit's convenient. On Friday, they read a prescription wrong and tried to give my 4-year-old swallowable pills. When I took them back to correct it, it took forever for them to get it fixed. They only had a partial amount of her antibiotic (enough to basically get through the weekend) but assured me they'd get more Monday. I called Monday evening when I hadn't heard from them, and the tech on duty said the rest of the prescription wouldn't be available until almost 2 weeks later. It's an antibiotic- she can't exactly wait. They didn't even check on Friday. If they hadn't screwed up the initial prescription and had actually checked on the availability of more, I could have gotten the prescription back and filled it at another pharmacy. The tech got short with me when I told her I wanted this fixed and wanted to speak to a manager. Never again. We will be moving all of our prescriptions somewhere else.
