    My PPO insurance was charged for 11 visits and hospice staff only provided 5 visits. If that was…read morenot enough to double visit charge, 6 months later received notice that this entity also filed with Medicare for the same 11 visit time frame and paid. 5 visits pay out for a total of 22. I am in the processes of filing fraud charges via both insurance entities although, it has taken hours away from the loved one I would rather spend the time with. The Coastal Staff Relief nurse did not show up for 2 days nor did she call. Neither the nurse (Talia) or the Director of Nursing (Donna), returned any of our phone calls and several attempts were made. My family sent an email to the Director of Nursing and she never responded back to our request. As a result of that, we notified Texan Plus, to inform them that they were paying Coastal for services that were not rendered. Afterward, my family discontinued the Coastal Staff Relief services for our family member. A complaint was filed with the Texas Department of State Health Services. The complaint allegations were substantiated the Agency was cited in October 2018. Within any organization, "COMMUNICATION" is VITAL and Coastal Staff Relief lacks that component immensely. They are only interested in generating revenue, instead of efficient patient care for individuals who really need it.

    I called 11/14/2024 at 836 AM, my understanding is that your office was open. The woman who…read moreanswered informed me that they could not take an appointment because her computer was starting. As a former manager, my employees were expected to be ready to work at open. I chalked it up to technical issues and left a callback number for her to call once the computer was online. After waiting 45 minutes I called back, and was immediately put on hold. Okay no problem, things get busy. Then another woman picked up the phone and once i explained my experience so far, she basically had an "oh well" attitude, was cutting me off, and not listening to the answers to the questions she gave me. Distracted? Doesn't care? Too busy? I don't know, but what I do know is that the whole experience left me feeling like not only does your office not care enough to make it easy for new patients to book an appointment, they also blatantly don't care once their behavior and treatment of patients is pointed out to them. I politely declined the appointment and explained that we had gotten off on the wrong foot with the computer thing, and that I was getting the impression that the employee was not happy I called, and more annoyed or frustrated that I called for an appointment. I informed the woman of this, and her response sealed the deal. There was no "Would you like to speak to my manager?" nor any apology, resolution, or anything aside from, "Hmm, well ok!" This is bad business guys, I hope someone in charge reads this.
