Stopped in to this location today to try and find a wall mount for a television. Location is in a VERY busy shopping location. The lot itself is extremely congested and what you would typically expect of a wal-mart parking lot. Small aisles and tight parking spaces. Be warned. This location is remodeling the left side of the store towards the garden center. And, as a result, the parking lot is chaos. Between containers taking up 1/4 of the lot and poorly executed barriers you are in for a treat with parking alone. Once in the store I head back to electronics. As I'm walking through the store and as I near the electronics area I am reminded of why I rarely choose to shop Walmart. Absolute chaos and the shelves looked as if a tornado and the apocalypse struck at the same time. When I get to the location in electronics that was supposed to have to wall mounts I discover that the in stock item was in fact not in stock at all. And nothing and I mean nothing was stocked in the correct location. So I had to spend 5-10 minutes scouring each shelf to see if the item was in fact there and just hiding. Finally I ask an employee to look in back and she did. With no success. She was kind enough to apologize and said "I'm sorry we have a lot of theft here.. it said there were three but there is not." I made my way to another location close to home where they had the wall mount. And it too was stocked incorrectly. A $20 stocked in a $75 spot. You can shop here. I shop here quite frequently and rarely do I have an employee look up from what they are doing to acknowledge you, say hello, or even say excuse me when they nearly run you over with their carts. The way they treat their employees is heinous. They lie to get you in the door then threaten and treat the workers unless they are their work friends like crap. No wonder why so many employees there quit. No one should be that unhappy doing a job they like due to how bad Patti is and the other team leads. They set a schedule but will drop you off with very little notice so their friends can get more hours and when asked about it they won't return calls or texts. . First of all, I know all Walmarts are now making us, their customers, ring up and bag our own stuff. Where's my paycheck or discount for doing it? Corporate needs to look at this! I went in to purchase some beer, wine & Volunteer t-shirts. I purposely went to the register that was closest to where the 3 Walmart employees were standing since I knew one of them would have to approve my liquor purchase. This young lady was very helpful and very polite. As we walked out, an employee stopped us to have us pull our receipt out so he could verify everything I purchased. What is this? Costco? Ridiculous- if you are going to stop me, then ring it up for me or give me a discount for doing it! We are in the area to consider the idea of moving here. Well, it's a Walmart. Sometimes, it is just easiest to go to a one-stop shop to get what you need. And when you have littles, it is awesome to have the easy curbside pickup system. This has been so incredibly helpful during COVID. I like doing curbside for all of our freezer and pantry staple items, but I do not recommend getting produce or meat curbside. We have gotten meat that expires same day or next day and brown and bruised produce on many occasions. However, we have since moved to Oak Ridge and their Walmart curbside service is FAR worse, untimely, and unreliable. We travel farther to come to this Parkside location. They are fairly fast and give logical substitutions. Inside the store is well-organized and they have rarely bee out of stock on needed items. read more

My Dad lives with us and has dementia. The only thing he will eat now is Raisin Bran. You can't tell it here, but we got 32 boxes and bags of Raisin Bran. He eats at least one box a day, so we try to stock up about every three weeks. Wal-Mart always has it in stock. We are not hoarding by any means. I was impressed with this Walmart and how it looks. The book department is the best I have ever seen with books organized together by author in same area. Also, I liked how the entrance to the book department with the first thing you see is bargain books in front. The movie department looked good as well with hardly any outs. The music was almost perfectly alphabetized and zoned. Congratulations Walmart as you get a solid 5 stars from me as I couldn't find nothing wrong. Now, this is the second time I have visited this Walmart in 6 months. Each time I was hit upon by bum asking for money. Today, for the first time ever I was asked by a bum inside for money which I have a problem with. This is not Walmart's fault though. read more

WALMART EMPLOYEES AND MANAGERS STOLE $51 FROM ME!!! I had a bunch of coins and brought them in to the coinstar machine to cash them out. Came to a total of $51 and I grabbed a couple cases of Gatorade and went up to buy them and cash my coin voucher. After an extremely long wait because the cashier has no idea what she's doing, I get to the front, put my stuff on the conveyor belt and give my coin voucher as payment for items totaling at $16. The cashier then asks me to pay for my items with cash when I can clearly see that the register says "CHANGE $35". I say the coin voucher must have paid for them because 51-16= 35. She says no and I hand over a 20 in cash. I then see the register display change from $35 to $16! She proceeds to call a manager and after waiting calmly for 15 minutes, the manager says "just give him $16 and get him the f*** out of here". I then got upset and said no, I want my money. The Cashier, Kenzie, proceeds to scream at me that it's her first day. The manager then tells ME to calm down. That's when I say "I just want my money!" They then call security and I left peacefully with no Gatorade or my $51!!! My friend who was with me stayed behind and asked for the coin voucher back, but they told him to "f*** off". Beware the manager is a THIEF!!!! I called Walmart coporate customer support and explained the situation to them, and they agreed with me. Hopefully I will have this situation resolved. read more

Bait & Switch Scam? The Online Advertisements for this Walmart may not actually be offered in the store. I ran in to what is essentially a "Bait & Switch" Scam. I looked up the IPhone SE on Walmart.com and a Deal came up showing this Phone could be purchased for $150 if you sign up on the $50 AutoPay Plan "With In-Store Purchase and Activation ONLY" on AT&T. And it shows this deal is available at the Parkside Drive Walmart in Turkey Creek. Once I got to the Store and tried to Purchase the Phone, I was told this Deal isn't Available. And they suggested I buy it for $200 instead. I was told it is a Problem with Walmart.com Advertising. When I called Walmart's Customer Service about this, they had no Idea why the Turkey Creek Walmart isn't honoring this Deal, and said it would be a Problem with this Store's Manager. Now today I called the Manager to see why they're not Honoring the Deal being Advertised and I was accused of having never even come in the Store. She acted like I was being Ridiculous for wanting to know why they weren't Honoring the Deal being Advertised. And then Hung Up in me. I wish I had gotten this Woman's Name, because I have never been so Disrespected by a Business. To sum up, this appears to be a Classic Bait & Switch Scam. Where a Business Advertises a Deal, then once you go to Buy they say "Oops, we don't have that" then try to get you to buy it at a more Expensive Price. read more

You would definitely think that this Walmart is a little better being that it is in the bougie part of town or uppity has some people say but that's not the case this time. Everybody except the electronics department seems they are not really caring about their job and there's no help to be found anywhere, except for electronics! I frequently here quite a bit and I would recommend going to the Gallaher View location as it is better equipped with service and friendly staff. I know everyone has a bad day but it seems like they're having one every single day. Not a good look at all. I've not come to expect much out of Walmart's anymore as they have their spot solidified in the retail space. But if you're going to look at Electronics or hunting gear this is the one to go to, other than that expect to navigate at your own risk! Shop away always low price is right. read more

The retail experience at Wal-Mart leaves much to be desired again and again. Vigilante retail salesfloor associates mentality is alive and well here. I had to stop shopping to go to the bathroom while in electronics and when I walked out of my bathroom stall I saw that a Wal-Mart employee had been staring at me while I used the toilet. After I purchased a few items in electronics I was followed around by several Wal-Mart salesfloor associates all the way to the front of the store. The question remains, Am I a valued customer or a suspected shoplifter upon entering Wal-Mart? Am I part of a herd of cattle hoping to hide merchandise under my fur without paying? Assets Protection staff on the salesfloor have behaved in an inappropriate manner just because one wears cargo pants (extra pockets). This Walmart is very clean and in a fantastic location right off of the highway. The problem is that the shelves are not stocked. And you constantly have to find someone for help you to find an item that you are looking for because of this. When you do finally find an employee to help you, they always try to refer you to somebody else instead of helping you themselves. I would prefer if someone would just find the answer and then we could move on with both of our day instead of having me go from one department to the next asking the same question and constantly being referred to the next person or department. Employees need to be trained better on customer service. Having said that, like any other Walmart they have a wide variety of items at very good prices. So if you are willing to hunt down what you need, this would be a good option to save some money. read more

I have shopped here multiple times and it's ok. The people are nice inside most of the time. The store has had some issues with cleanliness and stock. The back of the store close to the garden center is dark, desolate and weird. I guess it's the seasonal section but at times it looks to be miscellaneous. Came here at 6 PM on a Tuesday... can you do assistance at the jewelry counter. There is no button to press to get anyone to come over. Had to wait in line at the service counter to ask them how we get someone in jewelry. They paged a person in jury, no one came. We did a very long time. Went back to customer service counter, and the snappy girl at the customer service counter said, "well they're probably gone for the day!" And I asked, so OK... Who can help us at jewelry? We do sell jewelry here, correct? And she just turned around and ignored me. Then said she could call a manager. Then continue to ignore me, and never called a manager, even though all customers were gone from the customer service counter by this time. And then she was just pacing around by herself. I asked another employee about jewelry help. She said she didn't know either. Ended up leaving the store. Wow, some managers here are not on top of things and ensuring Walmart can actually SELL The products they pretend to offer. read more

After 3 attempts (on 3 different nights) to purchase a car headlight (located in a locked case), we had to give up. When we were actually able to locate help, the managers who responded never had the keys to open the case. Each visit consisted of waits beyond 30 minutes and ended in NOTHING. Well, nothing but crap service. Will not be back. And if you're looking for any help during your trip, I would advise you look elsewhere because it won't be found at this store. read more

WELCOME TO TENNESSEE! There are two things one does not want to see when entering a grocery store during the morning hours: dirty bathrooms and hot food in the deli that appears old and dry. I don't get it! You had all night to clean those toilets so why are they dirty? Although I don't eat from Walmart's hot food bar, I am nosy and always like to check it out. At 10;30 in the morning, it looked as if it had been out for hours. Huh? Walmart, you need to keep your bathrooms clean at all times out of respect for your customers. I understand that this can be challenging during high traffic times but there is no excuse for the mess I encountered this morning. I prefer to shop at this WM store than any other, because it is the cleanest and the employees are always kind and considerate. WM has excellent customer service for in-store and pick-up! One of their cashiers, Nikki, was especially helpful recently. WM is wise to continue hiring and retaining talented employees with top CS skills. The automotive technicians are to be commended, as well. Their skills and customer relations are outstanding. The produce department is the first thing I admire at each visit. Thank you for the nice displays, fresh fruits, and vegetables. I would recommend donating any spent flowers to a local charity, who would graciously pick-up items, instead of disposing them in the garbage. Unfortunately, the restrooms consistently need attention. I would suggest periodic steam cleaning service (floor, stalls, toilets, lavatories, and all walls) by a local contractor to achieve the sanitary facility that customers expect and would greatly appreciate. Moreover, I have noticed that the section Managers (particularly, the garden center) are less friendly and do not relate well with shoppers. Even when decisions are not favorable to shoppers, the manager could be more polite and considerate. Thankfully, this interaction is not needed frequently. Overall, it is the employees' smiles and interactions that make me feel welcome and encourage return visits. read more

I purchased an item at Chapman Hwy. store and next day was in Turkey Creek so I stopped by that Walmart and saw the same item for much less but they were out. I still had the item in my car so I took it to return counter and explained to employee that I purchased it another store and just saw that this store has it for less but you're out of stock, so can I return it and then buy it at cheaper price. She replied yes but it would need to be rung up at another register cause she can't ring it up. So I said great, and did the return and reached for item to take to another register and was told oh no you can't have this one, you'll have to get one off of shelf. I then replied that I just told you this store was out of stock, and she just said sorry I have to keep this one. So now I don't have the item and would have to go all the way back to Chapman Hwy. store to buy it since that store is only store in area that has it in stock. I told the manager and basically was told sorry there's nothing he can do about it. read more

Great customer service!! Do all Walmart Supercenters have a separate section for Pick Up orders? Maybe I never noticed it. I drove quite a distance to this location because they had a dental kit I clearly didn't need but wanted. I went through the dental aisle 3 times and even searched the adjacent aisles and the tops and couldn't find it! I resorted to the customer service area for help and they were useless. Then I decided to ask the employee at the pick up area and I was losing hope..she tried her best to help me and ask others to check the back because she didn't have access. Then we went to the dental aisle again and searched and still couldn't find it. Sigh..I told her it's fine, I should get back to studying and she wouldn't give up! She started to look at price tags instead of names and it was smack in the middle of some other products. Wow. I can't believe I missed it. Well, in my defense, she missed it twice too! Regardless, I was so happy I didn't waste a drive and she knew that very well. I told her I would hug her because I was so happy but clearly can't since we were strangers. I'm very disappointed in my experience today at Walmart. I bought 2 packs of LED lights for my room and when I went to plug them in only one of them turned on for not even a minute. This store has gone downhill as employee staffing has been decreased. There are some good people (like Mark and Steve in Hardware) but most of the employees (and managers) seem unhappy. The store is less well organized than the Walbrook Drive Walmart, However, I am usually able to find the merchandise that I am looking for. The bathrooms are not very clean sometimes. The parking lot needs more lighting. However, the area seems safe. It is not terrible for a Walmart but it has seen better days. read more

The automotive department is absolutely horrible. I purchased a tire 10 months ago and it developed a bulge in the sidewalk. A dangerous manufacturing defect. I was told by a rude, jerk of a woman that since we had not purchased a roadside add-on that there was nothing she could do. It came with NO WARRANTY at all. She said NONE OF THEIR TIRES COME WITH WARRANTIES. No manufacturer warranty. When i complained she totally ignored me and walked away. It really pissed me off. We went to discount tire where their tires are pro-rated and the warranties come at no cost and they were $30 less than Walmart per tire. I purchase a lot of tire from Walmart and have for 20 years. I will never purchase another tire from them. Ever. read more
