The gals at the front tell me that they cater to the local market of 30-40+ women with cash to thrown down on comfortable threads. But I look around and all their clothes look so cute and trendy for the 20-something crowd too. They have tanks and tops that show plenty of skin and breezy sundresses with sultry slits. Oh fancy! Plus, there are lots of denim options and accessories too. I didn't purchase anything on my visit, although I was very tempted at the bling bar. What an eclectic mix of jewelry. They showcase a lot of metalwork rings, bangles and necklaces which I'm a total sucker for. I also have a huge thing for the rewined candles in the back. Fabulous! This place is pricey but that's what makes it a boutique. I'll have to ca$h in for my goodies another day.

The clothing isn't cheap, but it is good quality and they always package everything adorably with a thank you message and even small gifts thrown in. Their sales section is always amazing online, I can't even begin to imagine how good it is in the store. I can't wait to visit in person!

Almost wall to wall people walking and shopping. My brother and I though were on a mission with limited time so we dodged and weaved politely in the crowds to make our way to the Knoxville Smokies store. The Smokies are a minor league team with an affliation to the Chicago Cubs. We love the older logo of the Bear with the word Smokies above and not so much of the newer logo. I did find a beanie and my brother found a visor. The team behind the counter were very kind and helpful as we added a couple of smaller items to our purchases. The Knoxville Smokies' official store sells on-field caps and new novelties, merchandise, collectibles, trading cards and supplies. Go Smokies!

I brought in 3 bags and they took around 6 items for $30. Absolutely not worth your time selling clothes here. They process clothes ridiculously slow and don't give adequate money for the items they take. Note: I had Lululemon, Kate Spade, Nike, and OnClouds that they took for $30. Ridiculous. If you're wanting to make some money from your old clothes, don't go to Clothes Mentor.

I love seeing mahjong becoming more popular and social again, and it makes for a really cute outing. The only downside for me was the pricing. Everything is very pretty, but it did feel quite high for what you get. I wish there was a deal for buying the mat, tiles, and pushers together. After I left, I happened to look up some of the Mahjong sets online and realized similar ones were available for quite a bit less. That said, the atmosphere and concept are lovely, and it's definitely a fun place to stop in and look around.

Im not originally from the Knoxville area I just attended school here so I was on the hunt for cute local stores. Val's did used to be my favorite. However, in the last few months i have noticed every time I walk in I am not treated kindly - sometimes I'm not even greeted. I hate to call people out but in other reviews the blonde employee named Emily truly has made me feel unwelcome in the store. In the last few weeks I have come in to shop for new fall statements and walked out due to either the rude tone or silent environment I experience when shopping. Overall, don't waste your time here considering clearly they don't see the importance in their customer relationships- sadly I won't be back and agree with other reviews.
