I purchased a futon and the delivery date got delayed by three days and it was supposed to be installed and I spent $89 for installation fees and they never even came to put it together. I've been fighting for a month to get my $89 back and they just keep telling me it will take 5 to 10 days and I can't get a person on the phone and this is ridiculous. I had to sleep in a chair for three days because of the delay and then ended up paying installation fees that me and my brother put together not them. read more

Swipe your debit card 4 times in one visit! Why, because Walmart sucks! Went shopping at Kingman, Az Walmart today which I generally avoid at all costs. First, I bought a video game in the electronics section and had to pay for it there. Next I was off to the liquor area for beer...had to buy it there. Now to the Automotive area for a battery for my quad. It was locked in a cabinet. So, I waited in line and the lazy bastard cashier made me walk back the cabinet to have somone else open it. This guy would not even let me carry the battery back to the register, be had to escort me back...where I waited in line again to pay there. Then on with my shopping and regular checkout. As I am leaving the person at the exit wants to see my receipt...are you kidding me! I told him to go to hell. Walmart if you expect me to check-out with 4 different employees, bag my own items and self checkout you dont get to check my receipt at the door! Hire some security and do something more proactive than just letting people run out the door with your products with a no-apprehension policy. This has to do with the auto service center. Took my van in for oil change while traveling and told them to do the basic oil change. When finished they had done a full synthetic oil change, for an extra 20 plus dollars. Manager said that they could change thee oil to regulars, but would take some time. Had already waited almost three hours to do the oil change. Will be disputing the difference with the credit card company. Have taken my van to Walmart back home and never had a problem. Do not take your car to this Walmart for any service. Not unless yuh do not care about money and dealing with inept staff. read more

Today I went in to buy FOOD and when I walked in this man had his dog on a leash and it started pooping all over the place he grabbed some paper towels and put the dog crap in the cart where CHILDREN sit. This Walmart will not advocate for those of us that get grossed out at dog poop in our food store or have allergies from these animals. Many people out the dogs into the cart where we put our food. Rarely do you go into a big box retailer and receive great customer service. And you can forget about getting ANY customer service from Walmart associates- at least the Walmart's I've dealt with in the last 10+ years. So, needless to say the shock I felt at the Kingman Walmart was astounding! The employees smile! They act happy there! They actually HELP the customers!! We met a gal who was shopping on her DAY OFF. She saw we looking in the water, and she stopped to help us. I asked if she worked here- and she did. Her name is Iris, and she is AWESOME!! Though we didn't find what we were looking for, she left no stone unturned! Absolutely amazing customer service skills- and Walmart should know what a great job she's doing. We also came across cashier Janet, and whom I think is her supervisor- Susan. Both ladies were so wonderful! There was also a lady in cosmetics that walked me over to some products- the CS at this store is nuts!! Whatever is happening here in Kingman- please spread it East, North, West and South!!! I have lived in Kingman for almost two years now and every order from walmart, since i have moved here, has had: missing items, has had moldy and rotten food, thawed out foods and melted foods, etc. i have tried going in to talk to a manger. i have called customer service every time and every time all I get is "nothing we can do. Not Even Worth A STAR! Store Manager not on site: Casey Day, Walmart Supercenter #20513396 Stockton Hill Rd, Kingman, AZ 86409: Worst Walmart in the company. Wife and I are in our fifties and decided to pick up a few things from Walmart on 1.13.2024 @ approx. 11:15am CST. My wife and I were trying the "scan and go" application. After our shopping was completed, we went to the "scan and Go" isle where everyone (meaning non-scan and go patrons were also checking out item per item, we were taken back at the wait to get to register. We often use the sister app for "Sams Club" without issue. Why have a "Scan and Go" line if everyone uses it? Nevertheless, we waited for about 15 minutes to get to the open register... The instructions were to bag our items and present our receipt (on the app) to the door for the monitor/door checker on the way out. We were approached at the register by a 30- something Spanish extremely flamboyant gay male snapping his fingers and pointing and my wife telling her (calling her a Queen) we needed to pay for our items in a raised voice. As my wife tried to explained to him, we were using the Walmart "Scan and Go" application, he snapped his fingers again with his high pitched over bearing tone and calling my wife a queen again and indicating we were stealing these items (mind you this was a full cart of food) all the while over talking my wife and I in its sliding scale domineering voice at my wife and I, at which point he grabbed the cart and took it the customer service telling my wife and I we will not be purchasing anything today. We were livid over this and asked someone in customer service to call the "Store Manager" for a resolution which was never achieved. A young white male with long oily hair and a very scruffy look showed up to address the situation. He was adamant he was the store manager and no one else could help us. After conveying the issue at hand and showing him the "Scan and Go" app he started to smile and ask which person told us this. I started to describe the small Spanish extremely flamboyant gay male. My wife indicated she would go and find him and find "he/she" and your AP Manager "Austin" firmly told her she cannot do that or he would call PD (the Kingman AZ Police Dept) all the while smiling and acting like this was no big deal. All of this infuriated me even more. The unkept Manager and the Spanish extremely flamboyant gay male as well as the embarrassing situation your people created are the reasons, we will not ever go back to this or any other Walmart's again. I spend roughly 2K per month on groceries per month for my family and I and 80-90% of the was at Walmart. I am a Solution Architect for a large telecommunications company. I'm not restrained financially to be tethered to Walmart pricing which these days is not that great. I'm here to replace 2 tires. Was initially told it would take 1.5-2 hours. I waited for much longer than that and each time I checked the progress I was told my car would be next. This store doesn't even deserve a single star rating!! The list of what isn't wrong would be a shorter list than the problems within it especially the Kingman store. When it comes to being treated like they appreciate our business they fail big time! Instead people are treated like they're thieves and whatever is wrong with their system is obviously our faults too. Those of us who use the self checkout are just people who can't be trusted so they said today. So the question would be why have 50 of them. Why continue to use them when they take your money and then expect you to repay it when their system freezes or goes down completely. As if we have all this extra money just laying around or the time to do so. I'm not a rich person and that shouldn't even matter but I'm also not a person who has the time to go shop check out and then expected to dump out all of the groceries in front of them only to go to a different checkout to do it all over again what the absolute hell? Insulting to say the least. Nobody should ever have to deal with such behavior from anyone and nobody should ever be judged by their situation no matter the circumstances. We use the self checkout because we're in a hurry and don't want to wait in one of the 2 live person checkouts. If you're paying with cash with the self checkout you have 2 checkouts to choose from and one of them usually is always down. Please do yourself a huge favor and take your business elsewhere and pay a few extra dollars with the stores that appreciate you shopping with them. This particular one stop store will give you more than you want and more than you deserve in all the wrong ways. read more

The employees are rude. They don't acknowledge you and they seem annoyed when I ask them for help. One of them wouldn't remove an item that I no longer wanted. Also, items are priced differently from what price is rung up. For example, sandals are displayed in a section that is marked $3, but when the item rings up, it's actually $7.xx. 98% of people here don't wear masks, but that's expected in Kingman. They do seem to respect the fact that people choose to wear masks. I will return because I love Walmart. read more

I have PTSD so I have to depend on online shopping. Recently, I've had 5 different experiences where I was given milk that was either at its expiration date or it was the next day. I get a refund, but have to dump the milk, so I still don't have any milk. I am on social security disability so I can't afford to have to keep spending $35.00 just to get "maybe" decent milk. They're sending us online shoppers the bad stuff that no one else will buy. This is horrible customer service and abuse. On top of that, I have to pay more for items than if I were shopping in the store. I'm sure the people who pay$12.99 per month, plus tips, for their delivery service get much better treatment. This Walmart is a convenience to both Kingman residents and tourists bound for Arizona attractions such as Grand Canyon National Park. This past weekend, my brother and I stopped here two times between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon National Park. Under one roof we were able to stock up on the necessities to get us through a couple days in the Grand Canyon. In addition to the merchandise, the ATM came in handy. In my book, $1.50 is reasonable for a cash withdrawal. Regardless that we did not dine in their McDonalds, a $1 large Coke beverage was fitting for the long drive to the Grand Canyon. The Kingman Walmart is modern. If I am not mistaken, it is a rebuilt supercenter. In contrast to some discount centers, this Walmart is the antithesis of shabby and depressing. In this upbeat supercenter, the aisles and action alleys (Walmart terminology for main walkways connecting departments) are wide. Generally speaking, the associates appeared to be friendly. What left a positive impression was an associate joking with a customer while cleaning a spill. Safety in the parking lot and exiting onto the main roads is something that Walmart does right here. I am very big on safety. In my book, mounting security cameras onto streetlights is more effective than on the roof of the facility. This makes me feel safer leaving my vehicle in the parking lot and walking to the store. Whether or not they work is another story. Two exits are signalized. In Vegas, I know of a few Walmarts where it feels like Russian roulette making a left turn from Walmart onto a highway. I am a fan of the Kingman Walmart. Under one roof they sell necessities at low prices in an environment that is the antithesis of shabby and depressing. *I understand that in retailing the dynamics of the store change rapidly. This is an excellent grocery store. The produce is always fresh and there is always a diverse selection. The deli, bakery, and hot food sections are always cooking up the best food in town. Watch out, though! It is very evident by the bathrooms that sickness is tracked all over the floor. Don't let your kids touch the floor or they could wind-up with a horrible disease. Also, since most people don't wash their hands, it is very important to wipe the carts clean. I watched a man in the parking lot picking his nose. Horrible customer service! Happened to me twice! The first time I waited over an hour for an associate to unlock a bike for me. Spoke to multiple associates and a manager which all said they were going to page for someone to assist me. I waited over an hour at the bicycle section and saw the same associates I requested assistance from and they just kept walking. None checked up to see if anyone ever helped me out. No one ever showed. I figured waited over an hour for help that never was going to show up was too much so I left. Today 11/16/2023 @12pm, I went again for the same bike, mind you its a little bike on the bottom rack so all I needed assistance with was someone unlocking the bike. So it wasn't like I needed someone to get it from the top rack. Spoke to 2 different managers and 3 different associates. Spent around 40 minutes waiting this time all said someone was coming with the key to open the lock. Again, no one showed. Walmart you need to step up. I understand you need to lock the bicycles up for safety reasons and or theft but at least give all your associates working in the area the keys if not at least the managers. Surely if they're trusted to be managers then they can be trusted to carry simple bicycle master keys. Do better walmart then you wonder why your sales are plummeting.... read more

Worked for this store. All i'll say is that the staff is overworked as if the company treats them as if they were all robots. When one breaks, they push them into light duty or fire them outright for bullshit reasons that are never properly investigated. Online delivery is quite possibly the worst area to work in. Their management is incompetent, stupid, disrespectful, egotistical and downright arrogant. They're nothing more than glorified associates that use their "title" as a means to be complete dicks to everyone else that works in the store, except for the people willing to kiss their ass. Those, they will go to great lengths to protect regardless of how badly they fuck up at the job or how many problems and drama they cause within the work environment. The management well above store level all the way at district seems to have a hard on to push so much work upon that department without staffing it accordingly to achieve success with the numbers they want to profit from, that they honestly don't seem to care about accepting responsibility and instead prefer to throw all blame upon the workers instead. The only problem with that is they fail to understand they aren't working robots, they're working people. People require breaks and lunch to gain rest for such a heavy workload that is being demanded to the point, the backroom fills up where nobody can move through it, orders don't get out because there are not enough people. The ones that are there, get worked like dogs while the laziest ones are allowed to do the simplest and easiest jobs, which only further backs things up causing an even larger work load upon the employees that are trying to accomplish all the necessary tasks. I feel pity for those good ones, they have no other option but to accept their fates cause they're so desperate for a paycheck just to keep themselves afloat financially. What's worse, when any attempt is made to call out the management team at both store level and above for all the problems that exist, and those problems are numerous from the tiniest thing of finding items in incorrect locations with the wrong price tag ,to clothes being strewn all over the softline department clothing racks and floors all the way up to people being harassed by other associates that are never fired for such behavior and instead, the associates they were harassing end up fired and even going so far to using false reports to fire associates for things they never even did without investigating anything like a competent, logical human being would do almost anywhere else. Why do things like this happen there? Because nobody cares to do anything about it in this store. The sickening part is that everyone that works there and even many of the customers that shop there, know that the place is nothing more than a joke and all because the home office no longer cares whether their managers possess even a modicum of integrity. If i could give this place an honest rating, it'd be far into the negatives. For anyone who wants to shop here, go inside. Do the online delivery employees (at least the good ones) a service of doing your own shopping. You are quite literally, killing them physically for pay that is shit by comparison while being managed by people who no longer possess a soul and if they do possess one, it was clearly damned long ago. read more
