The service here is ALWAYS terrible, you'll have associates yelling at you in the fitting room in front of your children & manager ( EVELYN) will make excuses for these unacceptable actions! The store is always dirty! I found needles & blood all over one of the sinks in the bathroom. When employees are working they don't EVER say excuse me they just cut right in front of you. Rude staff, won't even listen to customers. Literally put away my cart after I asked if I could leave it and try on a dress. Came out to my cart gone and the items I was going to purchase also gone. Instead of just saying they put it away they told me I never had a cart there and continued to treat me like I was crazy. Thank goodness there's a Marshall's here now. read more

I'm only giving two stars because of a bad experience from an employee... she was rude and loud and i call her type the "corporate watch dog"...there is always one that loves to say "no" and she was it... i came from PetSmart with their basket which i have done before... the minute i walked in she yells out "you can't have that cart in here" i didn't even see her but heard her yell at me... why didn't she just walk over and politely speak to me??? And is corporate Ross really that concerned about a PetSmart basket! Seems to me that's a small thing in life but leave it to the corporate folks to make those kinds of rules!!! I had my two small dogs with me and i will say that Helen in the dressing room was very sweet and kind and helped me into the dressing room etc... she is the kind of face and personality that made my experience better after the shrew!!! read more

Stopped by to kill some time while in Kingman. I've been to a lot of Ross locations over the years but this one seemed really bare bones! Not a lot of inventory on the shelves because a lot of racks had empty space! It could be because of the pandemic or maybe they sell more product than they can restock. Either way there wasn't much to shop for! read more

This review is for a specific employee, Ellen. You are terrible at your job. Unprofessional, terrible customer service, and downright disrespectful. I would be embarrassed if I were you. Hopefully the manager reads these reviews and takes them seriously. I leave equally good & bad experiences on my Yelp Elite account. Not just bad. You can't teach compassion or sensitivity. You are either born with it or not. You would benefit from a new profession, preferably one that doesn't involve speaking to people. 7 billion people experienced this day differently. Don't forget that. As you were mindlessly so nasty to me this evening, you had no idea I am grieving over the loss of my best friend who committed suicide. I found her body. Your kindness was so appreciated. I have lived all over the United States. North & South Carolina, Ohio, Arizona, Texas, California, & Washington. I've been to some pretty terrible Ross stores - messy, unorganized, chaotic & almost all of the employees hate their jobs (lives) & also some really amazing ones with employees I've spoken to about some deep, thought provoking topics. It's a hit or miss, but most Ross employees are not nice. Some advice for all employees of the store, especially Ms. Ellen - coming from someone who has worked retail, food and beverage, hospitality/hotel chains, healthcare, foreign & US education, libraries, outdoor education, trips leading, typewriting and more! I have also spent my life volunteering - giving back to animals, children, & families. Point being, it is not hard to BE A GOOD PERSON. I'm not tooting my horn - I want it to be known that it is unacceptable to not put your heart and soul into all work you do. Whether it be a trash man or a CEO. Respect. Passion. Integrity. Sure. We all have our bad days. I would be a HUMAN with my customers & say "I'm not having the best day, I am so sorry - doing my best!" And 98% of the time, people respond to genuineness. Thank you for barking at me when there was around 6 employees working in the store - the only open register was the return & exchanges. A woman walked up put her stuff down and walked away. I started to slowly approach, not rush around because I know how stressful retail is. Ellen said " Um excuse me, I am helping that woman over there I'm not sure if you could tell. Go stand over there." Where I proceeded to walk back and say " I am sorry, she put her stuff down and walked away I thought she was done..:" Ellen: " Ummmm... I would have called you, thanks." I bought a pair of slippers for my Dad for Christmas. I needed a larger size so I went back to Ross, but as I couldn't find the receipt, all they wanted to do is give me a 49cents for a store credit. I just wanted a larger size! I get that I shouldn't have lost the reciept but 49cents? Lmao what cheapskates!!! I went into this store and while shopping the manager came over and reprimanded us for having the wrong shopping cart. There is a right way and wrong way to inform your customers about your policies. This guy was a jerk about it and clearly did not know how to talk to people. So we left and on the way out we we also yelled at by one of the cashiers. If that's your policy perhaps have the correct carts outside the store do people can use them on the way in. Every other stores cart were in front of this place except theirs. They can keep their bad attitude because we will not be back!! read more

Awesome place found on the way to Grand Caynon! Its like a hidden gem. This place is quite empty so there is no problem finding sizes and variety at this location. The place is quite big and you can find a lot of a good brands but will have to search through the stuff. Enjoy shopping. read more

Have shopped at Ross , in Kingman for year's . Today on the15th was at the store and me and my wife needed to use the restroom, which was locked , asked an employee which was a thin older woman with gray hair and she said she needed a moment to open it. After a long wait she came out of the back room and ignored us . excuse the phrase but this is piss poor and I am done with rude employee's That women is hurting you far more than the corona virus. read more

I've been to about 75 Ross stores...a lot of them. In my 5 visits here I never found awesome skate shoes in my gigantic size but I was warmly greeted at the front each time and the place is very well organized. Send this staff better merchandise...and raises! read more

I like having Ross in Kingman as there aren't very many clothing stores available. I think their prices are fair and generally they have an ok selection. I was appalled today by 'a store policy' per the employee in charge of the fitting room. Not only must all items going into the dressing room be on hangers and placed on the rack so she can count them (I sort of get this) but she advises me they must all also be on hangers upon exiting the fitting room. Okay, so I take in 5 pairs of jeans, replacing each upon their hanger after trying them on, except the one pair I'm buying. I exit the fitting area with all items in hand and I have this pair I plan to purchase draped over my arm, with hanger in hand as I don't have a shopping cart. She informs me that even the pair I'm purchasing must be on it's hanger and placed on the rack with the others as it's 'store policy'. THIS is NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY 'store policy. Maybe you should pay her more or pay me for doing an employees job! I will still shop here as I don't have many choices, and I wonder what will happen to me should I not return all items on a hanger? Really disappointed in your new approach. Ross has always been one of my go to stores. read more
