This proves to be very hard, because I found the colors online for bridesmaids dresses are all colorized based on the Pantone or a swatch of the actual dress, but online everything reads flat and you really can't see the shine or texture and even tell what the real dress will look like. Bridesmaids dresses were also really expensive at online retailers other than David's bridal, and for all of them you had to pay to order swatches of the dress color/fabric. I was looking for specifically a dark charcoal, satin dress that was thick enough that it wouldn't easily wrinkle when my bridesmaids danced or sat down and had a nice shine. This is actually a rare color and satin is actually not the trendiest of fabrics so I was having a pretty hard time finding what I wanted. I finally got fed up and headed to Jacksonville Fl to visit my mom and randomly found this store on Yelp. The store was open by appointment, and I scheduled one with Laurie. The store is in a shopping center, near a grocery store I believe, which at the time I thought was interesting. I walked in an immediately noticed that she had almost every single dress I had seen from all the online brands and more (alexia, allure, Christina woo, dessy, mori lee, etc.) in a wide variety of colors. It was the best and broadest selection of bridesmaids dresses I had ever seen! The headline here is that once we got to the store, Laurie was so sweet and helpful, and she could see I was stressed because I was finding these dresses late in the game. I told her what I was looking for specifically and she immediately pulled 2-3 options for me in satin that came in charcoal. Then she pulled the largest book of swatches I have ever seen- she has the swatch of every single color for every single fabric for every dress so you can touch/feel/see the real material. Her prices literally cannot be beat- she has signs all over the store that she'll match anyone lower than her but she is already so low. My bridesmaids dresses came out to $137, and she sent an email to all my bridesmaids with instructions for how to measure themselves since all dresses are made to order. She also offered for any of them to call her on video if they needed help! She even makes sure all dresses for one wedding party are the same dye lot/run. Her expertise, kindness, and attention to detail really made my experience and I hope many more brides find Laurie. When you need bridesmaids dresses, SHES THE ONE!
