Rating the Deli; have had my sandwiches stolen several times. Also my lunch is short, I place my orders ahead of time and come at the time I'm told it will be ready. Multiple times I've waited over 15 mins and it wasn't even started on. Have had to cancel or leave due to not having the time to wait. read more

Just moved here and I absolutely love the Publix near us. The donuts are amazing. The staff is so kind and the grocery carts are so smooth. Daisy is one of the best employees they have. Publix has become my go to grocery store over the years simply because they train their staff to greet you, ask if you need assistance and smile! Funny how simple, - what you would think- common practices can make a business that much more appealing. I shop the sales for big shopping list- but this location is my stop on the way to work for breakfast. Fruits, coffee creamer, bakery goods too are my top hit list here! Also my go to for picking up last minute dinner items after work. Super convenient for my since the location is right off Butler Blvd. I can always count on fresh produce and meats every single time. I have shopped at this Publix location a couple of times. It is not the closest Publix to my home but I have friends that live near this location. The service is always excellent no matter which Publix I shop at and this location is no exception. The deli staff are very friendly and if I'm unsure of a purchase they will let me taste before I buy. No matter what department you are in there seems to always be an associate with a friendly smile who is willing to offer a helping hand. Yes I think the prices are a bit high on some items, but the service can't be beat! I mostly shop the sale or BOGO items. And they always seem to have a beer that I like on sale. Who doesn't like to save money? I love to save money! I will continue to shop at Publix and if you haven't tried them out now is the time. read more

This is our go to neighborhood grocery store! Super friendly customer focused staff, wide selection of groceries, fresh veggies & fruits, plus deli & bakery departments, in store Redbox machine, pharmacy and beer/ wines too! Supremely convenient to shop here and a pleasure to know that regardless if a "peak" grocery shopping period you can always depend upon the call for staff to open more register lines for the "surge" as well as baggers asking you if they can assist you with getting your groceries to your vehicle (no tip required NOR accepted)! Publix has a nice selection of products though some stores are better than others. Some have parking lots that have bad traffic flow. Some have beggars hanging out in the parking lots. My suggestion to management would be to have more consistency in your stores and have better control of your parking lots. The stores are clean and don't smell like blood from the meat dept like Winn Dixie. It's a good basic store. Personally I prefer Fresh Market, it's slightly more expensive but I feel much safer there than at Publix. I really like the Viera & Eau Gallie stores but they are not convenient to me read more

So happy to have this Publix nearby! They have great deals and free samples (usually)-what more could you ask for!?! The Deli is my favorite and today the assistant manager, Skip, made my sandwich! The staff are so kind and helpful. As an example: a customer next to me in line at the Deli was rude to some of the staff but Skip and staff were very pleasant to her and handled the situation very professionally (even though the customer was in the wrong). My Publix! Large Clean store and always stocked, Meat, Seafood, & Bakery Staff are top notch, Deli Sucks- hence 4 stars instead of 5. Deli people are horribly slow, dont listen, and just have an attitude. Sucks cause I have to skip the deli cause I know its 10 minutes for a pound of ham with nobody in line in front of me. read more

I go to this Publix and the one at Beach and Kernan. They are both similar, but the Beach and Kernan store has an attached liquor store and the Hodges store does not. We ordered a kids birthday cake from the Hodges store, and overall, it was a big hit. The cake had Thomas the Train on it, and my son went crazy. The cake itself was allright; well worth the $27 price tag. Would we get it again???? Yes, the price is right and the decorations were perfect. read more

The worst part about not living in Florida is not having access to Publix. I didn't realize how amazing this store is and how lucky I was to grow up near one until I moved. This location is very well kept and always clean. The employees are extremely friendly and very attentive. The subs and the chicken tenders are the main attraction in my book! It's hard to describe the amazing-ness of Publix subs to someone who hasn't tried it before. The Boar's Head meat and the fresh bread make the perfect combo. The deli chicken tenders are easily the best I've ever had. So plump and juicy and fried to perfection. You don't dare dip them in sauce and ruin the majesty of those tenders. The way to really enjoy the full potential of these two is to COMBINE. The Publix chicken tender sub is INNNNSANE. You're welcome. And enjoy! read more

Publix and Fresh Market are the only grocery stores I'll shop at. Win Dixie and Food Lions always seem dirty and I feel like I need a shower after leaving. I'll pay a little more to shop at Publix for the quality of workers they hire. They are always helpful and will go out of their way to help you. This is the problem I have with Publix. Anytime I go in on the weekend there is some group standing out from with their hands out wanting money for some baseball or gymnastics trip. Either that or some guy trying to sell me a subscription to the crappy Times Union Newspaper. When I go to the grocery store I don't want to feel obligated to give some kid with puppy dog eyes $10 in charity. I wish these parents would put together a car wash or something to make the kids actually work and earn the money rather than teaching them it's ok to take handouts. If Publix would cut these groups out of the picture I'd probably stop going to the Fresh Market so much. read more

This place might need any upgrade. I normally walk into Publix anywhere through Florida and know exactly where everything is...this place not so much. Something about it just feels cluttered and harder to find attendants walking the aisles. But the quality of items is on the same level as every other store I've encountered - which is a pleasure. read more

Always leave happy shopping st this location. I popped in real quick Saturday for a sub and a few items. I got chicken tender sub and it was delicious as always. I didn't have to wait long even though it was Saturday around lunch time. *I love that you can order subs online. Then I picked up a few items and I was out. Less than 20 mins. :) read more

I absolutely LOVE this publix. The staff is always so helpful and very personable. They're willing to go out of their way to help you, even if it's not their department! I've had someone from deli help me find something down the aisles, as well as having a cashier help me at the meat department! The butcher made a special cut of beef especially for my husband and the price was incredible for the amount of good quality meat we received. The cashiers are always smiling and starting conversations and the baggers help bring your bags to your car. This place is incredible. Their sales are out-of-this-world and the quality is fantastic. Clean, well stocked, friendly employees. We are new to the area and this Publix was a wonderful welcome. Service is above expectations.

Nothing is easy at this location. They are the closest location to my office, so I will stop in right before work and it seems like every time I go in, there's a problem. From a manager questioning me about why I'm returning something, to trying to make a purchase on something that is on sale, to trying to make an exchange of an item. All things that should be simple, but not at this location. I have never seen anything like this at other locations, but this one seems to be the odd one. Also, some the staff is rude, I rarely get a greeting from the cashier. One time I went in to get flowers for my wife after she had a bad day, and the kid that helped me kept asking "what are you in trouble for?" The first time he asked, I ignored it. But he kept asking. I had to tell him that it was none of his business. For someone that spends over $100 a week at Publix locations, I would expect more. read more

I will never ever in my life order a birthday cake from them again. How in the bloody hell are you gonna charge $8.00 for decorations that are drawn on the cake?? I mean seriously. Freaking ridic.....not to mention half the decorations I want they wont do. So why the heck am I paying $8.00 extra......yea calling corporate on Monday morning and complaing since complaing to the manager on duty of the store friday evening did not seem to care at all. Never ever again. $31.49 on a cake that should have been 23 before the extra waste of money they force you to pay because if you dont well its a cake with just writing....smh.... read more

5 stars only for the women's bathroom. My husband went inside to shop while I stayed in the car with my 2 month old. He came back and my baby had pooped. I went inside to use the bathroom. Usually it's in the front this one was in the back near the produce. It's so clean in the women's rest room I pulled the changing table down it was clean and it had little paper towels to out on the changing table. As a mom of two little ones this is a big deal for me. I've seen some gross changing tables in bathrooms. I'll just go to the car to change diapers. read more

4.5 stars. Ordered a Publix sub that consisted of Turkey, provolone, lettuce , tomatoes, green peppers and onions on whole wheat. I have not been to a Publix in a while but they asked if I wanted my sub toasted which was a plus. They also diced the tomatoes, green peppers and onions which made the veggies less likely to fall out of the sub. Terrific service and the store was clean. read more

We bought a bunch of refrigerated food from this location on our way to our hotel only to find out we wouldn't be able to get into our room for several hours. We took a chance and asked if Publix could help. Kellye went above and beyond in customer service and let us keep the bag of food in their cooler rather than us having to throw it away. We were able to pick it up once the room was ready with no fuss. I highly recommend this location, and hope they will give Kellye the recognition she deserves for prompt, excellent customer service and creative thinking! We are in the area fairly often and will be sure to shop here. read more
