I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a recent customer service experience at your store. I stopped in to purchase a special cleansing product required for an upcoming surgery. Wanting to ensure I selected the correct item, I waited patiently in line. When it was my turn, I informed the associate behind the counter that I had a question. Before I could finish speaking, she abruptly cut me off and rudely pointed, instructing me to go "over there" for questions. I complied, assuming another associate would assist me; however, the same employee approached me again and continued to speak in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. My question could have easily been answered at the counter, yet instead I was rushed, brushed off, and treated as though I were an inconvenience. When I asked if there were alternative options, I was told curtly that it was "whatever is on the shelf," without any effort to help. What was most troubling is that after being dismissive, the associate then asked personal questions about my surgery--something that felt inappropriate given the lack of professionalism shown moments earlier. This experience was upsetting, especially considering the circumstances surrounding a medical procedure. Customers should not feel rushed, disrespected, or uncomfortable when asking a simple question--particularly when it concerns their health. I expect better from CVS. There are many individuals who would represent your company with courtesy, professionalism, and basic respect. I loved, loved, loved the service I did not receive at CVS this a/m around 7; walked in and an employee was trying to checkout her personal items and she was having trouble with her employee discount card; I needed to get a few items and there were no carts that I could use to carry around with me while I shopped; there was one other guy in the store with me and we ended up going to the cash registers at the same time; by this time, both of your employees were engrossed in trying to make sure the employee discounts went through; they totally ignored me and the guy in front of me; when this guy saw that he wasn't going to be assisted by your employees, he finally moved over to the self check out kiosk; when I saw that your employees were going to continue to ignore customers, I did the same thing; great training and great employees!!!!!!! Friendly staff but incredibly slow and unorganized, leading me to try to find a different pharmacy. Almost every time I've tried to pick up a prescription (without calling in advance to confirm that the text I got was actually true), I've had to make at least one return visit -- and sometimes two. There is always an issue such as a "miscommunication" with my insurance (especially annoying as CVS owns my insurance!), or an odd justification such as "Well, we weren't sure whether you actually wanted it filled when you came in to pick it up yesterday and it wasn't ready." It's exhausting, and as someone who is prescribed controlled substances, a bit concerning that problems have included them trying to fill the wrong dosage. For the drive-thru line, I've yet to wait less than ten minutes, even if I'm the only one. My latest wait -- and last -- was more than twenty minutes despite being the second car in line. read more

Upon arrival, my friends and I were met with a blast of cold air from the unnecessarily cold air conditioning. We should've known this was foreboding of our experience to come. I purchased my goods - a rather scrumptious confectionery bar known as a Kinder Bueno (I thoroughly recommend) and a bar of the finest Lindt chocolate - to see outside torrential rain and thunderstorms. We decided to hold down the fort and wait until the rain eased back. However, this is when our experience took its sour turn. One of the employees, whom I shall refer to as Ingrid, forced us to leave and was incredibly rude. No empathy to our mile-long walk back to our hotel. We feel completely targeted as young college students. Utterly despicable from Ingrid. We had the final laugh, however, as she had teeth that resembled a garden rake. Could you imagine?! Drug store make up is suppose to be cheap. It's not cheap unless it's on sale here. But the sale is pretty good. Revlon lipstick was going for about $8+ each regular price but it was 2 for $10 on sale. They carry a lot of popular brands like Nyx Revlon Milani Maybelline Wet n' Wild L'Oreal Rimmel ...but a lot of the shelves were empty? Maybe I missed a bigger sale over the weekend? Learned that in addition to the CVS Rewards card there is also Beauty Club that you can join for free that gives discounts on beauty items. No one seems to roam the floor to help. Associates seem to be suck on registers or in the pharmacy. Pretty good customer service once you actually find someone. read more

The pharmacist who works here is very helpful (I wish I got her name). I was in pain from a toothache and she was patient in answering my questions. (I had a lot of them.) She told me the best treatment to deal with my toothache till I had a chance to see a dentist. And you could tell she was genuine in wishing I get better. Typically, going to a CVS in the evening up North is like going to Walmart in the evening - may as well plan for breakfast! CVS website said $59-69 for a cholesterol test. So I scheduled an appointment and went in. All I wanted was the numbers, the reading. I didn't want any advice and told her I just wanted a print out of what the readings were. I wasn't there for advice. Still, she asked me way too many questions as if she was pretending to be my Dr even though I had already told her I wasn't there for advice, but only the reading. I tolerated her politely. When it was done, and I had my print-out, she charged me $179 and I freaked out. I told her what the website said (website said $59-69 for a cholesterol test.) and invited her to go look at the webpage herself. She refused and still charged me 300% more than what the price was advertised to me. Immediately, I moved my $600 per month prescription fills away from CVS and over to publix. CVS now has the perfect recipe for chasing away their long time loyal customers, and chasing them away for life. You win, I am gone forever CVS. read more

Probably the worst pharmacy I've filled at. Dropped off my son's prescription and was told it would take two hours to fill. Came back three hours later and was told that because it was received that same day, they wouldn't be able to fill it until the next day. Came back the next day at 6PM and was told that they didn't have the medicine in stock and had to order it and that it MIGHT be ready the next day. I called and waited over 20 minutes on hold to let them know my 75.00 prescription was only 24.25 in Good RX. They told me no problem we will honor it when you come it. Well I went in. Stood there as the only customer and patiently waited about 5 plus minutes while the tech was messing with baskets in the back. She came up I showed the coupon and she said she will have to re-ring it and it will take 20 minutes. Best part is she never rang me out to begin with....! I said no thanks. I will transfer this one to Publix also. Which is $0.20 cheaper. I was new to CVS becuase my insurance pays for 90 day supplies there. But after all the unwanted refill calls on prescriptions I did not want or need. And overcharging I have now moved all four of my prescriptions to others. read more

Trying to speak to a representative, especially in the pharmacy, takes no less than 30 minutes. Refilling my prescription was such a hassle I literally just stopped refilling it.
