I've been to this 7-Eleven location a handful of times, and it has all the basics you'd expect - lottery tickets, drinks and food, gum/mints/candy, and friendly staff, all at standard convenience store prices. They clearly have a problem with some of the local people, some homeless, some just trying to take advantage of the store... On every visit I've been there, I've been approached for money from the men and women hanging out front. On this most recent visit, the store was smartly playing opera music loudly at the exterior of the store, it appeared to reduce the number of people just hanging out. While I was inside, one gentleman did try to pour himself a soda and walk straight out the door without paying - the cashier was professional and direct in requesting him not to steal from the store. So I do credit 7-Eleven for their efforts to maintain a positive environment, noting that they still have some opportunity to improve. read more

This 7-11 is always dirty. The floors are sticky. The bathrooms are downright gross. They are always understaffed. There is usually a homeless person or 2 hanging about outside the door. They are often out of cups or just have not restocked them from the back. There is a decent selection of drinks, it is a small store. The food could be good but it is hit or miss. The fresh packed fruit and salads are fairly expensive for what you get. Sometimes they have a good sale. They also have an app where you get points towards free drinks. Both of the ones downtown here are pretty bad but that just comes with the territory. I am really surprised they even put this in. There are only a few parking spaces near there its street parking. The staff seems nice enough if overwhelmed. The clientele run the gamut from suits to burlap sacks. Literally. It is a good place to grab some aspirin or other needs if you are on the run. read more

This is a location I frequent several times a week. Normally everything is fine in there. However, I went into the store today to get something to drink and a small snack. There were no napkins in any of the dispensers. So when I asked the associate for napkins, he responded with," Hello, good morning, were you going to greet me first?" It was very rude and abrasive and had nothing to do with my question. I do not like staying in the store for long because of the homeless population in the area. All I wanted was napkins and I get treated rudely for asking for them since they were not stocked anyway. I'm sure the turnover rate is high here because it's always someone new if not the owners. Please hire people with manners. Because I am not particularly fond of most of the employees aside from the owners because their behavior and demeanor. read more

Every time I order something for pick up here, the staff get it wrong, without fail. As in, they give you the incorrect items in quantity or type entirely. That's bad enough, but then when you point it out, they argue that it's not their fault and immediately try to blame you, until you point out that they just DIDN'T READ THE ORDER. It's in plain English. I do not want to battle with my cashier every time I pick up my items. Give me what I paid for, without me having to exchange in 10-20 minutes of passive aggressive dialogue whereby you try and scam me out of what I paid for. This store is also always filthy, under stocked, under staffed, and poorly managed. I interact with the staff on a near daily basis, and only 2 of them actually have any decent customer service skills, the rest are all rude, unhelpful, and poorly trained. You will be lucky if you even get a hello or have a nice day. You will be harassed by the homeless population every time you come who will sometimes get aggressive with you, and they piss right near the entrance, so it always reeked. This place needs a serious overhaul. read more

I have come here often for a quick snack or a drink on the go, but recently I went for 7-11 Day. They offer free samples Slurpees from 11 am-7pm. This location had it all set up. There was a woman standing near the door handing out already made cups and you took the cup to the Slurpees area where another woman asked if you wanted cherry or Coke. I picked both, and it tasted delicious. They also were offering $1-$2 deals on chicken tenders, sugar cookies, hot dogs, and more. This location is clean, quick, and friendly. Just watch out for the homeless loitering around outside. read more

I love the quick breakfast, lunch foods, drinks and snacks you get here. Today I bought a salad with balsamic dressing, a healthy snack pack(cheese, raisins & nuts) for $1.49, and a Mountain Dew. They usually have two Cashiers working the registers. They also have hot foods as well. The prices are great. The only minus is out of their control-homeless people in and out of the store. Kudos to 7-11! I am so glad you came back to Jax. And I am glad you have two downtown locations. I frequent both. read more

Their selection of candies, chips, & refreshments (pop, dairy, & varied other assortments of hydration fluids) is bountiful! Pretty terrible selection, and what's worse is that you need to check the expiration date on EVERYTHING you look at here. I bought one bag of expired snacks, and quickly realized on subsequent visits that everything from candy to drinks is often past its date. Add in the fact that they don't keep the coffee fresh (or even available), and you have to then wonder whether this even really qualifies as a "convenience" store.. read more

Great run whether break, lunch or afternoon snack time. Friendly staff and pleasant especially when you are trying to figure out what to eat or drink. My first time grabbing lunch and I was not disappointed the pizza was hot and my cold drink hit the spot. If you need anything from batteries, bandaids, aspirin and let's not forget the ultimate Slupree. Also, the 2/$2 chips are a must grab. This is a Fan favor and I for one am grateful 7 11 is back and in the downtown area. read more

Good enough. It's a store right downtown Jax so don't think your gonna find a parking spot. It's mostly a foot traffic store for people who work downtown. They do a good job at keeping the vagrants from hanging around the front of the store. It's always clean, the coffee is super hot and the service is friendly. read more

I work across the street in the everbank building; I come in here everyday for snacks, drinks, smokes, personal items like headache medication, and even headphones. Sometimes I go to this store 2-3 times a day , this morning I went in for sprite and alka-seltzer because of not feeling well and was treated like an unwelcomed, unappreciated criminal. I had a manufacturer's coupon directly from the Alka-Seltzer website, and they refused to take it, when I asked why they couldn't give me an answer. What they did say is that they are not going to accept it be I could have taken a picture of the coupon and implied I was using a fraudulent coupon. This is what Mimi the store manager told the clerk to tell me however Mimi did not have the courtesy of coming out from the back office and talking to me. I can respect her concern however her due diligence would have been to go to the Alka-Seltzer website to confirm that the coupon was valid. I will never shop at this 7-11 again, and I will be sure to let everyone know in my building how they will treat us daily/ weekly customers. I have never been treated so poorly; especially by a business I shop at daily. They are the ones in violation, and I will make sure the corporate office knows and the manufacturer. This is the second time they refused coupons the first time was a cigarette coupon sent in the mail. read more
