This store always has the kindest and most courteous staff. They always go above and beyond to greet you with a smile and make sure that you feel like a special customer. I was there yesterday, got a spicy chicken sandwich for free.. sample I think . Very good . Too salty though. I got a great cup of coffee which they had Half n Half for and sime really good iced tea. This is about as nice as you can get for a gas station! Gone are the days of scary dark cramped isles and terrifying bathrooms, everything clean and bright. Just opened, just built, everything is brand new inside. They have all your regular gas station/ convenience store needs with a small deli sandwich shop inside that actually makes pretty good sandwiches!! The " d- melts" are where it's at! King Julian was the sweetest, nicest, late night cashier! Great customer service. This gas station was clean and had awesome snacks.

***They have Ethanol-Free Gas*** Easy to access from San Jose if you're going north. If you're on San Jose heading south, turn left on Sunbeam and take the first right. Place is always clean and organized on my visits and the pump area litter free. Pumps are free of marks, stains and handles are not gunked up with crud. I actually call this place Wawa Jr., similar setup inside, just in smaller scale. Haven't been inside much as I only frequent this place, mainly, for gas. But on the occasion I do go inside, it's been very pleasant. Again, clean/organized and products are neatly stocked and the drinks/snacks selection is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was at the Dailey's Shell station on 9100 San Jose putting gas in my car at 8 o'clock this evening. A large very drunk white guy in a blue shirt with a crewcut and khaki shorts about 40 years old came running up to confront me as I was over near picking up a squeegee to clean the windshield on my car. He yelled loudly "Hey Asshole... if you don't give me $100 right now I'm going to whip your ass!" He was between me and my car where I had left my cell phone. I immediately grabbed the second squeegee. So I had a squeegee in each hand and I was determined if he came toward me I was going to hit him with both of them. I decided to walk into the store and I very loudly said to the attendants to call 911... you have a drunk guy out in the lot who just threatened me and is yelling and threatening your customers. The black lady behind the counter said yeah I know. I said you know... why aren't you calling the cops if you know? She grabbed the phone like she was calling 911. I walked back out. The guy Was over by the patio area smoking and walking around in a circle and hanging onto a pole. He was big-time drunk. There were several other homeless looking people hanging around there as well. I didn't hear the cops quickly so I called 911. Seems the attendant at Dailey's had not called 911 as she appeared to be doing. When the drunk about 30 feet away saw me on the phone He started stumbling towards the CVS parking lot. I finished gassing my car and got in and followed him. When he was over by the parts store around the corner I came back to the Dailey's as the police were pulling up. I told them what was going on and where he was. They went after him. Daley's has recently constructed these really nice looking well lit service station and convenience stores all over town. Looking at them you'd think that you would be perfectly safe taking care of your business in that location. Their employees have not been well trained. They have ZERO security. They do not know how to handle these type of situations. As soon as they saw these drunks out front they should've called the police and got them cleared off of their property. The guy "working" and making sandwiches tonight was struggling extremely hard making my ticket. I was the only one there and this ticket took over 20 minutes to make my order which was 2 of the same exact sandwiches. He had time to talk to his friend though and he seemed like a nice guy but please let this guy work the register or something easier. He was struggling beyond belief making a sandwich and seemed so flustered and I was in a rush and didn't expect 2 sandwiches to take nearly half an hour to make. Definitely won't be ordering from here again and I advise anyone to avoid getting food from this location as it will take much longer than needed while lacking quality. Its a shame that I now will be driving an extra few minutes to visit another location. read more

I live right next to this store which is great because before they came along I was stuck with Gate, which is freaking disgusting and has a crappy parking lot. I've been coming here for the past 3 months since getting my new job in the area. Every time I come here they get my order wrong or missing ingredients now I can put up with that to some degree because I understand things happen. What I don't understand and is the reason I will NEVER EAT ANYTHING from them again is how can you hand someone a breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon and ham and it's frozen rock solid I swear if I didn't have to be at work I would have drove back there and went off on that entire kitchen staff I will never be coming back that was the final straw read more

This is the best gas station around. The customer service is great. I usually eat at this place 2-3 times a week. The meat and bread is always fresh. If you are looking for a sandwich give this place a try. You will not regret it. I usually get a turkey sandwich with numerous toppings and I have it pressed on a chibiata bun.
