I decided to try the strawberry passion fruit refresher drink. The ordering process at Wawa is always fast. The wait time isn't long. The drink was good. It had real strawberries slices. The cup was filled with ice so there wasn't much drink. I did not taste any strawberry flavor in the drink. The passion fruit taste was very strong. I like this location, there's only been a couple of times that they didn't have yogurt when I needed it for my strawberry banana (hold the whip) smoothie. From the time I started coming here until now the girl that usually makes my smoothie at 1-2am has improved dramatically. I had a couple disappointments but they got it together. Wawa's is a one stop shop. You can get decent food (that you might crave again) and usually exceptional customer service. Sn; if you go online you can usually see what they don't have available by doing the online order even if you aren't sending it through. You know I make a point to go to the Wawa all over the country. I'm so glad I've discovered this chain about a year ago. This one was no exception. Even though it might not be in the greatest neighborhood, it's not really a bad neighborhood either. They took pains to keep the pumps clean. Even though this is an area where people would be tending to throw their trash on the ground, I imagine they have people out there cleaning it up on a regular basis because the lot looked good. The bathroom wasn't bad, and the people at the counter were very friendly as always. I was happy to discover that they had some broccoli cheese soup left so I scooped it up. I also like that they have fresh squeezed juices every day ready to go. That is so much better than the bottles they have in the refrigerator cabinet in most gas stations. I finally see why everyone's talking about Wawa! Large, clean, nice, and they have everything you can think of (and then some) at a convenience store. In my opinion, the only difference between the Wawa and the new Gate stations is I feel the prices were a bit cheaper at Wawa. Not enough so that I'm going to go out of my way to stop there, but if there were a Gate and a Wawa and a Racetrac next to one another, I would choose Wawa. If I could give 0 stars I would. Last night I ordered a pizza, I vegetarian so I ordered a CHEESE pizza with GREEN PEPPERS. The next day I am eating leftovers from that pizza and I realize as I'm nearly done with the slice there is a SLICE OF PEPPERONI UNDERNEATH THE CHEESE OF THE PIZZA. #1 who the hell puts shit underneath the cheese of a pizza. This is our favorite wawa. We come here atleast 3 times a week in the mornings for my son to get a donut and me breakfast before school and work. Everyone is always so friendly and the lines move pretty quickly. The place is usually pretty clean inside and outside. Horrible software for food ordering makes this a dishonest establishment where they post one price by the food, then charge a different price. I clicked on the hoagie combo for $5.39 and clicked through each option it prompted me for, and I didn't click to add any options with an up charge, and it added it as a separate hoagie and soup, even though I had added everything just from selecting yhat combo. It would not do it as a combo and did not apply the combo price. It would only charge the hoagie and soup separately, for more than $8. I asked at the food making area, and employees there said that the discount will show up when I pay and this happens all the time. But when I went to pay, the cashier could not fix it. This place is clean and all, but they are dishonest and have one posted price, then charge you more. It is not the employees' fault. It is corporate Wawa, not fixing their software for ordering, and not giving the cashier the ability to fix it. To click on a meal for $5.39 and then be charged almost $9 is dishonest. read more

Yay, another Wawa closer to me so that I don't have to fight traffic going the Town Center! My coworker gave me coupons for free items that were mailed to him since he's knows I love Wawa and I will use them quicker than he would. I decided to check them out this past weekend. Getting into the lot was exactly what I expected. Coming north on Southside Blvd you must take the Beach Blvd exit and continue to go straight onto the service road. There were a lot of cars and small lines were forming for gas. I happened to find an open pump and zipped right in. Once I finished fueling up I went inside to use one of my coupons. Not a lot of people ordering food and the majority of employees were pretty young. I went up to the kiosk, ordered a latte, and waited about 5 minutes before I got it. I was even greeted with a smile and a "have a nice day". I didn't get that before at the other Wawa. I went over to pay and got the exact same thing. Compared to the place I normally go to, they were about the same price. If want a quick bite along with some gas and maybe free air for my tires, I'd make the trip. read more

Here we Fuc$%#@ go again! so, I go into this same WAWA at around 9 am Friday May 10th and here we have a store employe working the prepared beverage section helping some customers. whom I noticed previously outside inhaling carcinogens from what I would assume is some sort of vaping device. I can't say for certain that the young gentleman performed the proper procedure as to wash your damn hands when returning from bathroom and or a break but, what I can say is as I was coming in the store, he was coming from the back assumedly with the same gloves on. I am a big advocate of food safety especially with these immoral, un-ethical minded youth we have today. With that being said, I be damned if I get sick over some no caring, procedure violating son of a B&%$# who forgoes procedures put in place to prevent a food borne illnesses to customers. However, if this is the standard operating procedure of this establishment then I can foresee lawsuits in the future because of the lackadaisical staff and a total dis-regard to enforce FDA mandated procedures to prevent such occurrences. read more

I came here to gas up today, because a friend told me about the low gas prices and I wanted to check out the inside of the store as well. Well, as I was gassing up, I was trying to squeeze a little more gas in & got gas all over my hand-so I went inside to use the bathroom and wash my hands. The gas pump did not give me a receipt, the question, "do you want a receipt" went away to quick. After washing my hands, I went to get a receipt printed out by a Cashier and the line was way too long, so I did not get one. They have kiosks where you can order your hot or cold sandwiches and food, but no prices listed ANYWHERE. When one is on a budget, one needs to know the prices beforehand. The store was so full of customers going everywhere, it was a little overwhelming to me. Overall, the store is very upscale for a gas/convenience store/restaurant. I most definitely will be back. I came here twice so far, since they mailed free food coupons to my house for their Grand opening. The first visit I was able to order a specialty latte, and I chose the Maple latte. The barista made sure my drink k was perfect and handed it to me with a smile. It was super easy to put in my order into the computer instead of going up and ordering. The second time, I came in for the free Swizli breakfast sandwich. It was a little challenging to find them, since I didn't realize they were at the cash registers in their own displays. I had to walk around a little bit to find them! But once again, I was able to walk up with my coupon to purchase the sandwich and receive a smile in return. This is the best, cleanest convenience store I have ever been too, and they also provide excellent gas and free air for your tires. I'm officially a Wawa fan! read more

Ditch the drive thru. Ive eaten here 2 days in a row and the breakfast was greqt and fast. Dowload the app and order while on yiur way. You cant order coffee on the app, but makes sense. Grab your coffee or order iced coffee ( will have to pay at the register first if doing iced). Just sandwiches, but the croisant and beef eggwhite hoagie trump any fast food joint. Worth at least trying. The pick-up process is a little clunky the first time through, but once you get the hang of it. Smooth sailing I prefer their coffee over Starbucks. I came buy for gas and to get coffee. I find that Wawa offers good prices on gas and their pumps are always pretty clean as well as an operational order. I went in and they were not very busy but I just got a regular coffee which was very warm like I like it and they have a nice selection of creamers. I've had their select coffees before which tend to be cheap compared to Starbucks and not too shabby. Their supplies were very low and one of the managers had asked one of the associates to restock and she had a really bad attitude that was the reason I give this a four stars. I worked in the convenience store realm for quite some time and respect goes a long way no matter what position you're in. People are always watching but to her youthful mind she probably did not even realize it. I have to say that overall I am always very pleased with a Wawa and love the variety when I'm on the run. For the most part most of the people that work there are pleasurable and very cordial. I was very glad to see them come to Jacksonville and would recommend anyone to give them a shot. read more

Was great when it first opened but has seem to have gone down hill. I have gone there many times for coffee and they were out. I have been there a couple of times and the entire specialty beverage area was closed. I asked last time and they said that they are short staffed. The outside seating area especially where the trash cans are are usually dirty with trash everywhere. On Thursday, March 17 around 6:30 in the morning I was sitting in the vestibule to the store minding my own business waiting for my ride to work trying to stay warm because it was a little chilly outside. The manager stuck her head out the door and with a very snarky attitude said sir we do not sit here and charge our phones I wasn't charging my phone I was a little puzzled why she said this so I said OK and she went back inside about 15 minutes later to my wonderful surprise Jacksonville sheriffs office showed up and she was trying to say that I was a homeless person and that she had told me to leave multiple times I'm not a homeless person I've shopped at the store daily for going on a year now usually more than once a day. The Wawa service stations and convenience markets have really exploded in the Jacksonville area this past year or so. Their stores are really clean. The restrooms are clean. I like the fact that they have people there preparing food for you expressly to your order. You order from a kiosk. Your food is prepared and ready for you in just a minute. While I was there recently I noticed they had a tray of sammy rolls that they were building sandwiches off of that they had obviously baked earlier that day. I noticed that they pulled a new tray of rolls out of the oven and set it down and threw away the 4 or 5 that were remaining on the old tray. It was impressive that they use fresh rolls throughout the day. Some places get their rolls in plastic bags that could be a couple days old. The prices on the things that they offer or fair. They have outdoor patio seating. They will make specialty drinks for you if you desire at prices below what you can find a lot of other places in town. Their coffee is really good. They have a large offering and it is usually very inexpensive. The gas prices are usually amongst some of the best in town. You'll find that their gas station area is a well lit and clean and pretty easy to navigate. The cashiers are friendly and they Get you in and out quickly. I used to enjoy the subs from WaWa until I found multiple pieces of plastic in my sandwich. I started coughing and choking and think I may have even swallowed some plastic pieces. I called to notify someone there and the lady who answered said the Manager was busy and if I could call back in 15 minutes. Once I told them I just ate plastic the manager was now available. I went in to show him the sub and he wrote my name down and offered me another sub. He said someone from corporate or quality assurance would contact me but no one has followed up. I even wrote corporate an email and have not received any feedback for a week now. I believe the way they have handled the situation is wrong and not caring about their customer. What if it was my child eating the sub and had choked on the pieces of plastic?
