Whether I am there in person or speaking with them on the phone, they are always so polite and are more than happy to answer all my questions. They have never once lost a prescription of mine and I've never had a problem getting a refill. I should be able to say that for every pharmacy, but the big chains like Walgreens and CVS really try my nerves each and every single month. If I had a nickel for every time one of the big chains has screwed something up, I'd be a pretty wealthy woman! They also fill prescriptions pretty quickly. When entering the pharmacy and dropping one off, there's hardly every more than a 30 minute wait for it to be filled. I generally have some shopping to do in the grocery part of the store, so by the time I'm finished shopping, my prescription is always ready. I love Publix because they have some prescriptions that are 100% free. I do have really great insurance with very low co-pays, but hey, I still always prefer free! Some of the prescriptions they offer for free are: Amlodipine, Lisinopril, Metformin, and five different antibiotics (Amoxicillin, Ampicillin, Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim, Ciprofloxacin, and Penicillin VK).

You can be the only person standing there in line and have a full pharmacy of employees and there's always at least 10 minutes before someone greets you or acknowledges you. We would of never not greeted a customer and let them know we'd be right with them. I was a pharmacy tech so I have empathy but it's been enough at this point. Publix texts me TWICE (second text was today) I have refills available okay so I request to have it filled. The bottle says 2 refills. I get there and for the whole week since last Friday they never let me know what was going on now Friday afternoon when my medicine is nearly gone I'm being told my dr is no longer at my office and that I have no refills?? I tried to explain I definitely still had refills and show the texts they sent (which some reason the tech had a hard time reading the one sentence text and just stared at my phone for a straight minute) and that my dr is still there as far as I know?? But you could just tell they were done helping me and had no interest in correcting their mistake. It was like talking to a wall. I now have contacted my doctor to figure what is going on and to take steps to switch pharmacies on a Friday so unlikely to get my meds before Monday. The prepaid line shit is a joke when they let people also pay for the groceries lol how is that prepaid? Also the tech couldn't figure out how tell if the meds where already paid for so it took 15 minutes to cash the lady out for a prepaid transaction. It's ridiculous. You really shouldn't need to do prepaid for just pick ups if you had well trained staff. Publix does not value my time or my heath so I will not be giving them my business. I have dealt with military and VA pharmacies for years that are notoriously bad and I'll be switching back to the base pharmacy that's how bad it is here.

They fill prescriptions, the end. That's the only reason I took a 4th star away from them. The pharmacist and techs are really nice. They fill prescriptions fast... usually within 5 minutes. I honestly can't recall ever waiting even 10 minutes here to have a prescription filled. The office below does have a general practitioner if you happen to be sick, but it is mostly a pain management clinic. So, the majority of the prescriptions they fill here are prescription pain meds. They are able to fill the stronger meds such as Dilaudid, Fentanyl Patches, etc. If you are a person who is in need of these stronger pain meds, you know you won't find them at the larger pharmacies such as Walgreens, CVS, etc. Generally, you have to go to one of the pharmacies located within a hospital to have those filled. Even still, I know some of those pharmacies are cracking down because the pharmacies within the Baptist Hospitals will no longer fill them unless the prescription came from a doctor within Baptist Health. I am in NO WAY promoting prescription narcotics, and I'm happy to see the state of Florida has finally starting cracking down on the abuse. However, I also know there are some people who genuinely need these prescriptions. If you are on of those people and are having trouble finding a place to fill your legitimate prescription, you should be able to have it filled here. Now, let me climb up on my soap box for a moment. DO NOT begin taking these strong prescription narcotics unless you are 100% certain you absolutely need them. There are still some doctors out there who are all too willing to hand them out like candy. I absolutely detest that fact. There are also some doctors handing out these prescriptions without educating the patient on how horribly addicting they are. Coming off some of these prescriptions may as well be like coming off of crack, and they don't always tell you that. So, before you slap a Fentanyl Patch on or start popping Dilaudid four times a day, do your research, and do it well! Otherwise, you may find yourself pain free but completely addicted to these things six months down the road. Just stop and ask yourself how much pain you are truly in and if it's really worth it. If it's not chronic and isn't severe, a Lortab to dull the pain will be much better in the long run! Keep in mind you do have that choice... you can always ask your doctor for something milder. I have put off writing this review for a very long time because it's like a double-edged sword for me. On one hand, I want the people who legitimately needs these prescription medications to know where to find them. On the other hand, I don't want the druggies who are faking the pain to know. Seeing this error I call the pharmacy to tell them of their error. Initially the girl tells me, "oh sorry well correct it for next month". This floors me. I ask to speak to somebody else she rudely says nothing but puts me on hold cuz music starts playing. I explain the situation to the The pharmacist and he tells me the delivery service is booked solid for the rest of the week so he can't do anything until then. Well, my friend is not well and he shouldn't have any confusion about his meds so I tell the pharmacist that and he keeps telling me there is nothing he can do. Ok fine I tell him I want to speak to the manager so he takes my number down and the manager or owner calls and seems to completely understand how wrong this situation is for my buddy and he fixes the problem that day. Phew! Thank goodness! So problem resolved? Yes but if I hadn't been there to check his meds over he'd of been screwed taking his sleep medicine first thing in the morning and not taking anything for night. This is a locally owned and operated pharmacy right on Kingsley Avenue that carries a great selection of products for all of your medical care needs. It's also a full service pharmacy where you can drop off your prescriptions and relax in the adjacent waiting room while it's being filled. There is plenty of parking and the customer service is friendly and personal. It seems like they have a long standing clientele and it's conveniently located across from OPMC. It is great to see that this place is an option for those in need of their medicines and medical supplies. I will be back!

What stood out even more was that other team members appeared willing to help and were noticeably more courteous, but were repeatedly spoken over. It created an uncomfortable environment and made it difficult to get assistance.
