Just came here to recommend employee Verna for management or at least a raise. I was behind someone very verbally abusive toward her in line and watched her handle the situation with grace and class. The woman's complaints were out of her control and she was misdirecting to her anger onto the woman working the cash register whose name tag said Verna. As for the store, generally it's one of the better ones. Doesn't usually take too long to check out or find something. read more

This Walgreens was hit or miss for me for years, but I've recently changed my mind. If you ever visit this Walgreens look for Lawrence, he will make your day every time! Quirky as hell, but he's helpful and super nice. This is a great employee! read more

Please please please fix the pharmacy extension line. Every month I call to refill a prescription and every single time no matter what time of the day I am immediately put on hold. The automated message always says there is 1 caller ahead of me. Leaves me on hold for 6 minutes then cuts off. Every. Single. Time. I call 3 times in a row and get the exact same message and cut off after 6 minutes. It's absolutely ridiculous read more

Staff was friendly and it was easy to quickly buy a few items. Prices on drinks seemed a little too high, but as with any drug store you are also paying for convenience. read more

I was down at Jax Beach for a business meeting and ended up accidentally leaving my phone with a friend before he left. I had no clue how to navigate the area without GPS, the Walgreens staff allowed me to use the phone to contact someone who could help me. Shout out to John Marc and Oliphant, they initially got in trouble from management for helping me initially, but eventually things got smoothed over and I'm incredible thankful! Thank you John!! read more

I usually just get my medication. I don't like the pharmacy because I don't find them helpful. , I often find them rude and unhelpful. As far as the rest of the store I find them generally helpful. read more

One of the better Walgreens I have frequented. Very clean and organized. Friendly staff. Prices are high versus supermarkets.

This pharmacy is without a doubt the worst pharmacy that I've ever been to!! Slow, rude and they act like they're doing you a favor every time it takes less than 72 hours to fill an Rx. Qeyona and the other tech there are in ZERO hurry to help anyone. The people at the DMV perform like rockstars when compared to these people! Note to management: Fire these people! They're lousy with zero respect for customers. The only reason I use your pharmacy is because my insurance mandates I use Walgreens. Otherwise I'd be using CVS in Jax Beach because they're a thousand times better! read more

I am really thankful for being able to get tested for Covid for free. However, even with appointments and arriving at this location with 30 minutes of time we waited over an hour to be tested!! The pharmacy was NOT busy - no one in their lobby- the lady helping us in the drive through couldn't even get our appointment confirmation numbers correctly. It was truly painful!! When she talked to us it was with an attitude like if she was mad at us!! I have also been to the same store many times and their service is not good. read more

I have been using this pharmacy and store location for years I have never encountered any of the negative on these reviews. The pharmacy staff have always been helpful. The assistant in cosmetics Alex has been wonderful. The cashier in the front of the store always accommodating and helpful. I found a kind word, a smile, a how is your day going? It goes a long way. I enjoy shopping there read more

This pharmacy is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Someone from corporate needs to get down there STAT to get this place in line. The store is disgusting. I would highly recommend using hand sanitizer and facial mask at all times. Disgusting read more

This is your average 24/7/365 Walgreens. It's like 2 blocks from my job. So I like to run in and get drinks or some type of medicine before or after work. Having a Walgreens Card is a plus on items they have on sale. They keep the shelves stock and the store mostly stays pretty clean. Customer service is pretty decent. read more

Had everything we forgot for our trip!! Plus they have ice cream!!!! I was super excited to see such a wide selection of ice cream!

Walgreens in Jax Beach, Fl. is mod accommodating. The store or the pharmacy. Even during COVID or low staffing due to the economy they work very hard to provide great customer service. read more

Walgreens is like our little scaled down version of Walmart at the beach: It's open 24 hours, there are always some true characters piddling around, and they have a little bit of everything under one roof. I have gone there at 2am for markers and gripe water. What more can you ask for? read more

Walgreens - Drugstores Near Me - Jacksonville Beach, Florida

The worst pharmacy ever. Can't call and speak with someone. Orderes refills online and they went to a different state. Waited 48 min in line to pick up my Rxs. Only one person working. Ridiculous. read more

Since being sensitive about racial interactions seems to be the go-to reaction, I have to share my experience. Go there yesterday around 7pm and wait in line and see how cordial the sales clerk was to the prior three separate groups of black customers but the rudeness I experienced surprised me. Maybe Walgreens can provide a little sensitivity training on how to be respectful to ALL customers. I've heard this from others about this location. read more

The pharmacy at this Walgreens is an absolute joke. They do not care about people. I had the worst experience yesterday trying to get my prescription filled. I was look that like I was an idiot, mentally handicapped, and a drug addict. I am none of those thing. An error made on their part was a simple mistake but they refused to see that it was their error and kept telling me that I had to contact my doctor when in fact all they need to do is check their records and they would've seen that all they needed to do was refill the prescription read more

Staff is ignorant. I pick up here monthly & they always mess up something. I just attempted to bring in an actual script instead of the usual call in & they refused to even take it bc I didn't have my ID. LOL. Correct I wasn't trying to pick up. They wouldn't even accept my prescription so I could come back with my ID when I was ready. These girls are completely clueless. Fill ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

Staff was wildly unhelpful and incredibly rude. Bought an item, got to car and realized I had picked up the wrong one. Went inside and asked for a refund with my receipt two minutes after purchase. Staff member tried to tell me that the item was not even purchased here despite the fact the rang me up two minutes prior. Attempted to convince us that she had not sold us the item and that the in opened packaging being "warm" meant we had stolen it. She asked me for ID and made me recite my own name and birthdate, even through SHE HAD ORIGINALLY SOLD US THE ITEM ANS RANG US UP TWO MINUTES AGO. overall, we wasted fifteen minutes trying to get a simple refund from a rude and incompetent employee. will never frequent this location again, despite being a 10 year long customer. read more

Don't park in lot if you are going to the beach. They have cars towed.

I think it's the only 24hr shop on the area so kudos to that. However, I was buying a diet supplement the other day and as I was purchasing it the cashier said, "You don't need that!" Which sounds like a compliment but consider the fact that working at a drug store an employee should NEVER comment on what the person is purchasing. So my trip there was kind of embarrassing. Imagine if I was buying rubbers or feminine products. Ew. read more

For generic medication that was listed at Walgreens under GoodRx for $18 they added 110$ to the price and told me it was 128 plus tax because of insurance then I had wife come back and paid cash for $18, now I found out it was $8 at winn Dixie for same medicine, what a dishonest practice Walgreens has! read more

I've had bad experiences with this pharmacy in the past but thought I would give it another shot. Dropped my rx off at 1230, was told it would be ready by 3. So I came back at 5:30 on my way to a formal event and IT WAS STILL NOT READY!!!!! I wish I could come back tomorrow but I am getting on a 7am flight in the morning...which is why I dropped it off with plenty of time to get it filled!! If they told me ahead of time it would take over 5 hours I would have gone somewhere else. AND the guy at the window was super rude. Never coming here again. read more
