Awful experience. The lady working the pharmacy window is beyond rude. I will be switching pharmacies after today. Third time this week I've tried to pick up my prescription & they keep saying it's not filled yet (ready) so I tell them okay I'll come back tomorrow... process repeats itself. Absolutely ridiculous & a waste of time... when I explained this to the lady working the window she was BEYOND RUDE! They have lost my business 100%. read more

This CVS is located across the street from Getaway Car Wash in Jacksonville Beach. While I waited for my car to be cleaned I did a little shopping. I was looking for a birthday card for my father. They had many Hallmark selections. But when did greeting cards start costing $6.99? That's a crazy cost for a card! They had a few selections for $4.99. I must have read birthday cards for about 15 minutes before finding the one for my dad. I was taking a road trip the next day so I stopped by the snack aisle. I found the Ritz thin crackers I love on sale. I purchase two, one for the road and one for the house LOL! I waited in line about seven minutes to check out. The manager had to step in as there was an issue with a customer return which backed up the wait time. read more

I try my hardest to stay healthy just to avoid the mental misery of having to pick up a prescription at this cvs.... You always know when people are paid by the hour versus by their production because they're in no hurry to help you or do it well. This cvs is no exception to that rule. The speed at which these people operate makes the DMV look like the staff at Chick-fil-A...The upside is that you could binge watch an entire season of your favorite show while waiting to pick up a prescription. Or perhaps read that novel that you keep meaning to take a crack at. It doesn't matter if you're in the drive thru or inside. Both are horrible... Whenever possible I switch my regular prescriptions over to Amazon pharmacy. It's a lot more convenient, usually less expensive and a whole lot more enjoyable than visiting this dump... If you like to wait in line for a really long time... And watch managers berate employees... And use a tiny shopping cart in the middle of the night to buy margarita mix... You found your jam. CVS is my least favorite shopping experience. I'd rather go to the pecan park flea market and haggle over used tires. This is a convenient location to our condo at the beach. There's a nIce private parking lot with plenty of spots. Your typical CVS with a good variety of everything and anything. I happened to need a few gift cards and some toiletries so it was an easy in/out. I was greeted on the way in by a nice young man at the counter. I'm pretty self sufficient so I went about my business grabbing my items. Everything was easy to find and I was at the checkout in no time, I was even able to grab a local newspaper to avoid making another stop. Made some small talk with the clerk while cashing out, nice to see retail workers with a good attitude this close to the holidays. CVS is great because of their thousands of locations, there's always close by. read more

Dirty sinks and toilets in the men's restroom. Floors were clean. Maybe poor attention to details. Is the food and pharmacy safe?

The pharmacy at this CVS is much better then the one off of Touchton and Southside! The pharmacist is nicer, and they get your prescriptions filled in a timely manner. If they were closer to where I lived this would be my CVS pharmacy of choice! I had to deduct a star bc one of the pharmacy techs. was very rude and just handed my RX over to the other tech. bc she didn't feel like adding in my insurance information into their system, but the other tech. was very nice. read more

Staff is ignorant. I pick up here monthly & they always mess up something. I just attempted to bring in an actual script instead of the usual call in & they refused to even take it bc I didn't have my ID. LOL. Correct I wasn't trying to pick up. I use this CVS primarily for the pharmacy as I live at the Beach. They are always short staffed, ask me to come inside almost every time I go through the drive through, never answers the phone and has me wait excruciatingly long for my prescriptions. I would recommend going else where read more

Got up to the register and staff refused to honor the the price the item was tagged on the shelf because "the ad doesn't start until tomorrow". They were out of 2 of the 3 things I came in for. They charge $6.50 for something you can buy anywhere else for $3.99. The convenience of being right down the street isn't worth the hassle. read more

I ordered photos online for same day pickup. The pickup notification was sent 14 hours prior to my visit to the store. The customer service lady did not see my order on their system and asked me to verify where I had my order sent to because she could not see my order in the system. While I was looking for the email to verify the CVS location, I agreed for the CVS lady to checking out the next customer. After we confirmed that I was at the right location, the CVS lady continued to take the second customer without returning to me or informing me. After I voiced my displeasure, she dropped the customer on hand and complained that it would take her 20 minutes to go through the order, and that they were very busy. She had to finish the line before she could help me. That was total baloney. In the end, as it turned out, she was able to see my order in the back room, and that it had not been printed at all. Throughout my visit, the CVS lady had never apologized, and her tone was rude. I will take my business elsewhere. read more
