The puppy was already on a specific dog food so I didn't want to change it yet. So he helped me find the food and even offered to carry it to the car. I prefer this pet store over the larger national chains because there's always someone to greet you and ask how they can help. In the larger chain stores I would have to walk around looking for someone if I needed help. The other great thing about this pet store is if you sign up for emails they will send you coupons. And if you've read any of my reviews you know that I love to save money!

Overall I was pleased - would give the cut itself a 4/5 (a bit shorter than we'd like, but I did approve it ahead of time - they did not have the blade available for the type of cut my dog typically gets). However, beyond disappointed with the "luxury" package upgrade. I paid nearly $40 for better shampoo, teeth brushing, breath freshener, face brightening wash, pad / nose butter, "premium" cologne and a bandanna (and possibly more, I can't remember all that was included). I think none of this was done. My dog didn't even smell good coming out (granted, she smelled pretty bad going in, so it was an improvement don't get me wrong, but there was certainly no "premium cologne" scent going on). No bandanna or bow even. Pretty bummed about this - I had to ask if her teeth were done and the response was that the groomer did her best. Now I get it - my dog can be a royal pain when it comes to grooming, but I had even asked ahead of time if they couldn't perform all the services if we would be refunded and I was told that would happen. Feeling pretty ripped off and upset at the moment. May be back for a regular bath and cut, but I recommend skipping the "upgrades" since I didn't get anything for it.

My pup was able to stay in a calm, low-stress environment the entire time, which makes a noticeable difference. The quality of the grooming itself is outstanding--every detail is handled with care. The cut is always even, clean, and exactly what I ask for, and my dog comes back looking (and smelling) amazing every time. More importantly, my dog is relaxed and happy after each visit, which tells me everything I need to know about how they're treated. It's clear the staff genuinely care about the dogs, not just the end result.
