I always use the Store and Rob was the personnel that provided the Services four years been a but few years ago a car wreck and couldn't drive so I went to another now I'm driving when I came back . He tried to say I was late I showed him my phone where he sent the exact time I arrived. He argued until store manager came and told him she's right . Then suddenly he hands my little wet baby to me and hands me leash of my bigger girl. I decided I'm not doing them ! Yes! he brings out my two wet dogs and says he decided not to do them . One has been disclosed to have experience a few epilepsy episodes over ten years she's had three! but it's not a regular experience as a preventative and caring pet momma I carry her liquid rescue . He asked me to not wait and I said ok but I will be nearby in the store ( he was already 90 min of waiting . Suddenly he says it's corporate policy no animals with medication. Note he's done her many times no problem . I asked to see this corporate policy but not even the manager could produce it . I've never had such cruel behavior given to me and I'm an older lady standing there in shock tears running down my face in holding two scared wet shaking dogs . All because I believe he double booked me and got behind. . No apologies just sheer loud and total deniability. Since his voice was loud already he had ruled his cruel decision . Just stopped mid service i had no managerial support just pushed a phone number in my hand and said call corporate ! I took my dogs and left in tears and disrespect . Never will I return and I have informed all my dog groups and functions BECAUSE even if you have his confirmation in writing on the phone he confirmed it still no apology no options . Still he still threw my babies out! . THERE ARE NO PHANTOM STORE POLICIES ALWAYS BEEN ME THERE WITH HER MEDICINE IN CASE . They are BOTH WELL BUT THEY LOOKED SHOCKED AND UPSET WET AND COLD IN AIR CONDITIONING . He didn't even offer to dry them. So well and have a new groomer no problems and I was finally able to pray for his soul and asked God to let him do no harm. . I said a prayer for all the dogs in his care and for his arrogance to be replaced with humanity and kindness. read more

I walked in with my 1+year Shepard mix and as the door was still closing a gentleman named Luke greeted me and asked if he could assist me in anything I needed to fit my girl with a front clasp no pull harness, he showed their extensive selection, fitted the one I chose on my girl after explaining draw backs and benefits of each. He helped with a new lead and treats! I will be back! Thank you Luke! read more

One of my absolute favorite places to bring my family for all our pet needs, our kitties love Pet Supplies Plus!

We are from out of state. This is our second year bringing our pup here for grooming. Our dog always looks great and is done exactly as requested. Brandi is wonderful! Attention to detail and perfectly done groom. Couldn't be happier. Will go nowhere else when in town. Our dog and his "do" is photo worthy. read more

Pet Supplies Plus Atlantic Beach is our go to pet supply store and has been since my Doberman, Jefe, and I moved out to the Beaches area. The store is always clean and well kept. They typically always have use what we need and their online ordering system is fantastic. I'm a very frequent user and big fan of their store pick up and home delivery services as well. The dog wash station is always clean and well stocked! read more

I've never been in here, but recently got a puppy! Atmosphere is bright, open, and clean. Service was helpful and friendly. Lots of cute stuff (costumes and toys) and necessities, of course. Place came highly recommended by friends with dogs. I even saw a customer bring in his doodle. Too cute! I'm going to have to go back and get a cute tag made. Fuuuuunnnn. Oh and their Rewards Program is pretty awesome, too! Saved me $10 on some stuff. THANKS! read more

Great prices, Great selection, and above all, GREAT PEOPLE!!!! Here's the technical critique: Store is VERY CLEAN, and the selection of fish is outstanding when compared to the typical chain store, fish here are very healthy and active. In the age of internet comparison, it's often hard to compare apples to apples. In this case, having visited a dozen pet stores of corp chain variety, this local pet shop has them all beat hands down... read more

A wonderful associate very willing to explain how to use all the self serve equipment.

I'd give Amber negative 5 stars if it was allowed. Been here every week, twice a week. The usual staff is always awesom. FIRE AMBER! The rudest and absolute worst employee there. she claims she is a manager but there is no way a person this unprofessional and rude is a manager. I have spoken to previous manager who were both make multiple times. Amber might be a shift leader but even then she is incredibly incompetent and under qualified whatever role she carries. If I were the local franchise owner I'd be very concerned with this person claiming to be a manager. I cannit emphasize enough the unprofessional and immature attitude from any employee, let alone the MOD. read more

My pups and I love coming here. First and foremost, the customer service is impeccable. staff always asks me if I need anything and offer to carry it to the register and to my car, which really comes in handy when I need a 50lb bag of food food and am being pulled down two isles at one time with my dogs. my pups love that they have some snacks at doggy level, and they remember the isle every time and "sample" their favorite kind each time before we put some in a bag to buy. finally, they have fair prices. they usually cost less than the other pet stores. we also like to go to brewz after and enjoy a beer while the pups enjoy a chicken foot or other treat inside or outside of brewz after a successful shopping trip to pet supplies plus. read more

I have always enjoyed shopping with Pet Supplies Plus, today I received a generous coupon but I was unable to make it to the store. I went to their website, which is very easy to navigate, placed my order and roughly an hour later everything was delivered at my doorstep! Not only was everything delivered, it was delivered with care! And a thank you card attached... How often do you see that from companies? I don't see it as often as I would like to. Kudos to Pet Supplies Plus and their staff for going above and beyond to deliver superb customer service I will add, the reason that I thoroughly enjoy shopping in their store is that all of the employees have passion for what they do - they want to make sure that your pet receives the treat, food, whatever that they need and that is best for your pet. read more

I was looking for a place to get my puppy nails done without having to give her a bath. I found this place I didn't even have to make an appointment because it is walk in for nail trimmings. The workers here was very nice even asked if I wanted to come to the back during the mani-pedi it was very brief. I went to go find a specific brand of puppy food and I found it then a worker came up to me and told me he will keep it in the front for me so I don't have to carry the big bag around the store which I really appreciated that. I bought a few more things and started to check out and I saw this cute donut treat so I got her it and she absolutely devoured it at home. I will be returning here. Also they have military discount on Mondays. read more

Its nice having a pet store close to home. One of the guys who works there is a sweetheart I actually seek him out because he is so attentive and kind this person has helped me with dog harness fitting and setting up a fish tank. I am babysitting a dog for a friend for a month and we go to the cookie bar to get cookies for him and my dog. The dog I'm watching made a mess in the store I cleaned it up and profusely apologized even offering to help the lady who was sent to sanitize the spot she seemed bitter and angry and would not speak when spoken to that was frustrating that was the only time I can complain about read more

Caring and attentive staff the owner is great too. We had an issue due to a miscommunication and it was quickly resolved.

We buy live crickets and they are always in stock here. Service is fast and friendly. This store is our go-to for all our pet supplies. Our one disappointment is that they are almost always out of Stella & Chewy's chicken heart dog treats. read more

I went there on Thursday to utilize the self service dog wash station. I am handicap so handling my two dogs can be a bit of a challenge. Ryan, one of the associates was beyond helpful and courteous. He came out to my car, helped grabbed my pups, brought them to the wash station for me. and helped set us up for a bath, explained how everything worked! He checked on us periodically to make sure we were okay which was so nice then when we were done he came back to help me bring my dogs back to my car while I checked out. I can't express how grateful I am to Ryan and the staff at Pet Supplies Plus. Being handicap, doing simply task like this can seem intimidating. Ryan made it easy and delightful. We will be returning customers! read more

I'll do another review after I pick my dog up, but had to go ahead and give 5 stars just for the fact that they got my dog in for boarding right on the spot. Not only that, but Zuri (my dog), is a rescue pup. We've had her for about 3 months now and it's been a work in progress. She's an amazing dog, but she has some serious separation anxiety when I leave the room and wouldn't go into one of the boarding places I took her to. HOWEVER, the lady at the grooming counter was able to take Zuri back with no problem and I was able to sneak out. I'm amazed! So just that in itself deserved 5 stars! I'll be picking her up in a couple hours! Can't wait to see her squeaky clean and happy! Update: Lori is awesome!!! I'll be back for sure! Zuri smells so much better and looks amazing!! So glad I found this place on yelp and glad I came up here! Thank you Lori and Pet Supplies Plus! Oh, they honored my $5 coupon (which I added for Lori's tip) and they also have military discount! It always a pleasure shopping here for my pet items the make you feel welcome when your in the store

This "new" Pet Supplies Store is indeed a "Plus" in our beaches neighborhood! Convenient location next to LA Fitness - check! Incredibly helpful and friendly staff - check! Wonderful variety of aquarium equipment - check! Pet Supplies Plus was a terrific unexpected find - after checking a few of my Go To pet stores and coming up empty on a replacement aquarium filter, I headed to Pet Supplies Plus thinking it was a small mom and pop shop - boy was I wrong. This store has a lot of square footage for product - think "Super" Pet Supplies Store Plus! The store is very clean with wide aisles for maneuvering around - I made a beeline to the back right aisle and lo and behold I could not believe right before my eyes I saw the Emperor Power Filter model brand (now Marineland) I love and could not find elsewhere! Enjoyed chatting with Michael who was very knowledgeable and mind you was also a Emperor 280 Power Filter fan - I opted to go one size larger with the "400" model. To make things even sweeter, the power filter was on sale and marked down $20 off MSRP with the rewards card (which I signed up for while paying). Oh it gets better...when I inquired about their military discount, the super friendly lady at the register said that they do military discount Mondays (I thought to myself hmm...too bad it's Tuesday but I'll come back on a Monday next time) but as a first time customer, she would be glad to give me a $5 discount as well (which she did)! So this is a no brainer for me - they've earned my future business as a repeat customer and I highly recommend that you check out this great Pet Supplies Plus Store! Don't forget to check in with your Yelp app - there's a $5 off coupon for any purchases over $30 (wow)! read more

The staff is very present, helpful, and knowledgeable. Very well- merchandised. Really enjoy shopping here!

I am just off the phone with someone in the back office. I came in today to return a bag of food that was recently purchased in the store. I had tried to switch my dogs to the Redford naturals lamb and rice and was feeding them this food for several months. They develop some sort of aversion to the food and I had to quickly switch them back to another formula. I brought in the food Unopened and a receipt that I thought was the receipt for the food. It ended up not being the correct receipt and was an old receipt from February. I was told that I could not return the food even though it was well within the expiration date of the food and unopened. I wasn't offered a store credit either. Which I would've used immediately to buy some thing else there. I would still be a customer and we continue to spend several hundred dollars a month on my four large dogs. However, I was told at the cash register that all they could do for me was donate a $75 bag of food. the gentleman I spoke to in the back office about the situation initially offered to give me a store credit, but then said he'd have the manager call me and see if there was something he could do. I had been driving 20 minutes each way from my home once or twice a month to purchase this food specifically because I like to support independent pet stores rather than purchase over the Internet. But today they have lost my business forever. The right thing to do would've been to look at the expiration date on the bag offer to give me a store credit and keep me as a 200+ dollar a month customer. read more

I was visiting from out of town and I came to give my dog a bath after a few days at the beach. I love it here, bath time is easier and my boy enjoys going .... Even if it's for a bath .

I had to come to this store to purchase food for my mother's dog. The dog has a heart condition and needs special food and this store is the only place that carries it. I had never been in this store before as it's not close to me whatsoever. In this day of dwindling customer service I have to say in all honesty I was actually blown away by the level of service I received. Every single person I had contact with was so helpful and friendly. Several people offered to carry the food for me. It's difficult to explain just how nice this shopping experience was. I work next door to another pet store and I will drive to this one from now on for any of my pets' needs. read more

Manager Bryan wouldn't honor Pet Supplies Plus coupon. He argued with me and got very confrontational in front of the entire store over a $10 coupon. Way to go, Bryan!!! Obviously not your best day. I hope corporate reads this and helps you right on out of the store. read more

The coupon I get monthly usually is what brings me into this store. However I don't think I'll be coming back here after the last few experiences. Instead of purchasing off amazon, I figure going into the pet supply store will allow me to get some good personalized recommendations. The last couple times I've visited Pets Supplies Plus looking for different types of products for my pet, I have left disappointed. From dry cat food brands to fur shedding management recommendations, whenever I ask an associate for help, they never seem to have any idea of what to recommend from the selection they offer. The latest experience was a prime example. I went in specifically looking for a brush to manage all the new cat hair I'm finding in my home, from my short hair cat shedding his winter coat. After spending 5 or so minutes delving through the cat brush selection, none of products did a great job explicitly stating whether they were geared toward managing shedding. I asked an associate what they'd recommend. That associate passed me onto another associate who said she had no idea but if she had to guess, it'd would be ::associate seems to select at random and point to a brush:: "this one". When I got home and tried it out, I found it was 0% effective in gathering loose hairs. A little frustrated, I went online and discovered that the brush I was sold is not at all for shedding, but for detangling. So now I have to make an extra trip to return. With uncompetitive pricing to start, the $5 coupon does not justify coming here to purchase my usual pet supplies. Coupled with a lack of expertise on the product selection, there is a lot of room for improvement in my opinion. read more

I like coming here because the staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of fish.

This past time grooming our dog went horrible . I do want to add he's gotten groomed here before and never acted this way post-groom appt. We asked the groomers not to touch his ear hairs ( our vet said to leave them alone). the groomer PLUCKS ALL OF HIS HAIR IN HIS EARS, and I can't even imagine how bad that hurt him. He's almost 1 and he LOVES everyone. Except when we picked him up tHis time he was stressed ( which is normal) but now flinches at me or my mother when he try to pet him or anything. That's never happened before and I can only believe it's from our groomer "Lyn". I'm not totally sure how she treated him while being groomed but he flinches when we try to love on him and all in all acts like a dog thats been hurt or hit. I will NEVER come back for a grooming. BTW: his hair cut was Atrocious.. not worth the $ you pay. read more
