I took my newly adopted puppy Simba in for a nail trim this evening to Petsmart at Jax Beach. He is 6 months old and was adopted two months ago from the shelter and I have only had him for one week. His first reaction was to growl at the staff because he was scared as this was his first time at the groomers. Justin took such good care of Simba. He even picked him up to take him in the back so he wouldn't be as scared. When I came back ten minutes later Justin informed me that Simba did wonderfully. I am so relieved as I do not want to trim my dog's nails :-) Simba and I will absolutely be going back to PetSmart for our grooming needs! We are also going to be signing up for puppy training classes very soon.

The pups think the treat selection is top notch.

“Not for any reason other than I thought maybe a personal pet trainer or one of those obedience schools would be able to do a better job.”

He saw our toddler as a fellow pup, and before his camp at Unleash Fido we were dealing with constant nipping, tearing clothes, chasing, jumping, chewing, difficulty house training, and general lawlessness. Then he went to Puppy Camp at Unleash Fido and worked with Brittni. He came home a truly different and wonderful dog. he was in control of his body and his actions. He obeyed commands and was house trained. Best of all, though, we saw his true personality emerge from underneath the chaos - we got to make friends with the sweet, personable, loyal dog he is. We are grateful for Brittni and Unleash Fido for giving us the dog we always wanted. Teddy is much happier now, and so are we.

We were recommend Unleash Fido by several people. We scheduled an hour long consultation with Travis who ended up giving us 90 minutes of his time to learn about Lily and discuss their program. Lily had several issues, such as pulling on the leash, lunging at cars, barking at people + other dogs and going absolutely crazy when Amazon/UPS was delivering a package. Ultimately, we booked Lily into their month-long Obedience Training Camp. After receiving weekly report cards that contained photos, videos and a brief update on how the last week was, we were finally ready to pick-up Lily. Our first time picking her up was also our first training with her. We worked on establishing place, having her heel while walking, and working on other things around distractions. Within the first 24 hours back at home, our investment in this training payed dividends. She's obedient on walks, doesn't mind others passing by, comes to us on call, goes to place when told and so much more. We'd highly recommend anyone who's dealing with behavior and/or obedience issues to look into Unleash Fido! It was so embarrassing to have an unruly dog, and this was a true investment that we are so happy we made.

I am sharing my experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision…read more I boarded my two dogs here for one week. Both were healthy before boarding and had recently been seen by my veterinarian. During the stay, my 12-year-old German Shepherd, Mojo, became critically ill and collapsed. At the emergency vet, he had a 106°F fever, dehydration and serious gastrointestinal and organ abnormalities. He died that day. My other dog, Rigby, came home from the same boarding stay and developed a 103°F fever, vomiting and diarrhea. Despite veterinary care, his health declined rapidly and he was euthanized approximately three days later. I repeatedly requested records showing when my dogs we given water and administered their medications, as well as an incident report. I have not received the documentation I requested, despite being told that protocols were followed. I also saw an approximately five-week-old wolf-dog puppy at the facility that I was told had been confiscated from a backyard breeding situation. I asked about its veterinary care and vaccination status but did not receive answers. This concerned me because customers are required to provide vaccination records for their own dogs. My veterinarian later explained that without specific PCR testing, infectious causes could not be ruled out. I am not claiming to know exactly what caused my dogs' illnesses. What I know is that both dogs became critically ill during or immediately after the same boarding stay and both died within days. We requested MANY times to alert clients about our dogs' symptoms and deaths. To our knowledge they never let anyone know. I know that I would want to know. Losing Mojo and Rigby was devastating. I believe pet owners deserve documentation, transparency and answers when something this serious happens. I would want another pet owner to know about my experience before deciding where to leave their animals.

Devon's approach is amazing--they adjust their training methods to align with what I'm comfortable with, creating a collaborative and supportive experience. I wasn't sure how he would do woth other animals but Devon immediately assured me that they would be able to handle Kapano in their house for his boarding! I was impressed as he came back more confident and mannered around other dogs. I was consistently sent updates and photos of him throughout his stay and made to feel more than welcome to visit. He also came back to me in better shape in terms of muscle! If there was anything Devon had questions about they had no issues contacting me right away to let me know or ask about, I felt very comfortable and safe with my dog remaining under Devons care. I had never had to leave my dog with anyone before so i was reasonably worried as he's been my bestfriend for 6 years but i am EXTREMELY satisfied with Devons services and will continue to use devon for any training/boarding related needs for the future. I cannot recommend Arcane Canine enough! And thank you Devon for taking the best care of my boy when I needed it the most you are amazing!
