Luckily, we found Kate! We were hesitant about the virtual training sessions at first but Kate proved us wrong. Her lesson plan was very structured and her communication skills were fantastic. We loved every minute of working with her, and Murphy, our puppy, loved the training sessions! By the end of our training package, Murphy knew over a dozen of commands. It was a lot of hardwork and Kate's guidance has made this possible. We highly recommend her! Here's Murphy doing a "settle" in San Marco Square.

Prior to them we went to Pet Smart in Orange park, tried various online training programs, and everything I could find on YouTube, but the the difference in technique and overall expertise is far superior to anything I've tried. Not only did they help address my puppies special needs, but they were always available to address my individual desires and opportunities for improvement. Both my dog and I grew from their tutelage and I'd never go anywhere else in this lifetime. If you're even considering another trainer I HIGHLY recommend giving Anne a shot first, and saving the stress and headache of anyone else in all of Jacksonville. Her curriculum is well rounded and at the same time, catered to the needs of the dog/owner, and you're not going to find that anywhere else. I'm moving to New York in a few months and adopting another Dalmatian shortly after, yet I'm already making plans to bring my future puppy to Anne for an extended "board and train" session 900 miles away because I know the results will be nothing short of OUTSTANDING. Outgoing, shy, reserved, timid, young, old, big, small, it doesn't matter, Anne and Megan can do it ALL. And btw, I worked for Pet Supermarket AND Pet paradise for years, and they knowledge I gained here allows me to thrive at my job when I'd interact with owners and their pets.

My Rottweiler was immediately very receptive. The structure, the material, and the plans set for us gave us the consistency and confidence I needed to train him. Because of the unique methods and tools used based on the superior experience of the extraordinary team at Got Your Back K9 Life training became an instant success, and we accomplished remarkable results within a short period of time. George analyzed Grogu's personality, which the Got Your Back K9 Life team based the training on my 8-month-old Rottweiler should receive. All the various training methods are explained and demonstrated in a way that is easy to understand, implement and practice. In closing I would like to emphasize that the training Grogu and I received saved us from injury and liability at a recent altercation in a dog park where Grogu stayed sit (based on my "stay sit" command) despite being charged by a smaller dog several times. Again thank you so much for all you do to keep dogs and their owners safe, George and the entire Got Your Back K9 Life team! She was gentle and trustworthy and reliably well-mannered throughout her life. She passed away when she was 15 years old. Her training made her final days easier on her because even though she was deaf, she recognized visual commands. The veterinarian and vet techs were able to show her what they wanted her to do rather than manhandle her. It was one thing that made a difficult time better. Now we are training a rescue with them. He has exhibited some territorial and dominance behavior at home. They are helping us work through this with behavioral training and dietary changes. I strongly recommend Scheurman's k9 Academy.

After talking to several trainers I chose him based on the rapport I thought we had developed and his understanding of exactly what I want to accomplish with my dog. Although he was substantially more expensive than the other trainers I figured it's my dog and it won't be cheap no matter what. He was willing to allow me to make payments on it as well so I was very excited. When I dropped my dog off I gave him 500 cash and I was told I would start to receive videos within 3-4 weeks. A week or two later I brought him another 500 in cash. I work out of town a lot so I was really excited for my videos to start. It was shortly after that the excuses started. I heard for weeks how my dog tried to bite his wife. If that's true the wife clearly did something to my dog. She has never shown any sign of aggression to anyone ever! Then I heard for weeks that they cannot train her because of the rain. Really? You have my dog 24hrs a day! Then I kept hearing she's stubborn and won't stay. Another excuse. Your being paid 6635 to train her! It was about 4-5 weeks in that I started getting really worried. Not only do I not have any videos of my dogs progress yet, THEY ARE NOW NOT ANSWERING MY CALLS! The communication at that point went to almost nothing. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE MY DOG IS or what's going on because they meet in a parking lot on the side of a run down business. After weeks of calling and texting both Wally and Edith I finally get a response when they will be around to accept more money from me. I gave them another 2000 in cash and I just asked to send me pictures of my dog. It took over a week of calls and texts to just get a receipt for the 2000 I gave them. I was also told in email I would have a picture that night or the next day. I NEVER RECEIVED A PICTURE OR VIDEO OF MY DOG!! My 4yo daughter cried many nights because she only wanted a picture of her dog. These people didn't care about that. Weeks after asking for the first picture he finally tells me that the pictures were too blurry to send. In this day and age of technology all you can say is the pictures were blurry. When I am finally able to pick-up my dog I'm told I have a 180 dollar vet bill. Turns out my dog had a breakout from stress!! The date from the vet bill was the day after my original pick-up day! Seems funny. Not to mention you've had my dog for 12-13 weeks and she's getting stressed from training now?? The dog was stressed from a cram training last minute session. Still having to give her treats for commands after 12WEEKS of training. I understand why he would only accept cash on pick-up. He told me people have taken their dogs then stop the payment. He even tells me about all these other unhappy customers after they have picked up their dogs. Each story had the same thing in common. ITS THE OWNERS FAULT. I was told by Wally (once the dog was home) she should be in a crate or on a leash at all times, even in my home... I didn't pay 7000 to keep my dog in a crate!! We went to one "private session"with him that was a joke. 10-15 minutes is all the time he had for me. What can 15 minutes teach me? My dog has been evaluated by several AKC regesterd trainers and a K9 officer that we are currently working with and they all said to stay away from Wally and his IF YOU WANT A REAL ADVANCED OBEDIENCE DOG WITH A FOUNDATION FOR OTHER WORK DOWN THE ROAD, STAY AWAY

She was a rescue kitten when someone threw her life away on a cold night in a dumpster in a sealed box. I have raised her since a kitten. I received a call from Pet Doctors telling me to pick her up and they could not finish her grooming. I went to pick her up and the girl at the front desk said that my cat bit the groomer. I was dumbfounded as she is the sweetest kindest cat. I told the girl, "No way would that cat bite anyone. She is incredibly sweet." The girl at the front desk replied, "Well she did." They brought my cat out to me, and I noted fluid around her eye that was draining. I asked what happened to her eye. The girl looked perplexed and worried and said she did not know. I told her to find out now. Everyone denied doing anything to her eye. I was infuriated at the pain my cat endured at the hands of this groomer. Her eye had been poked with a sharp object that the fluid in her eye was still draining out. I was angry with their carelessness, and they would not own up to their mistake. They lied multiple times. I spoke with the lead vet, and she knew nothing about it either. The groomer would not come out to speak with me. I had to take her to an ophthalmologist, and the eye had to be removed. It cost me $2000.00. Story doesn't end here.......... I received a call a little over a week later from the State of Florida that they had received a complaint that my cat bit a groomer and was inquiring about her rabies vaccine and possible quarantine. I told them the story and that my cat was up to date with her shots because she gets her vaccines at that clinic, and they knew that. These liars at Pet Doctors of America will not groom your animal unless it is fully vaccinated. So, the State of Florida was surprised and apologetic about what they did. Thet were surprised they called in a complaint since my cat was up to date with her vaccines from that very clinic. They were attempting to cover their rear ends and call the State of Florida to deflect what they had done to my cat. Their Beaches location is closed, and I am not surprised. For the sake of the safety of your animal DO NOT take them here for any type of care. Nothing but a bunch of greedy liars and poor-quality care. Since they were sold to corporate a number of years ago the quality has decreased and the prices have increased. The only thing growing by leaps and bounds is their bank account and the corporate breast. There is a great vet called Shoreline on 3rd Street in Jax Beach who will not nickel and dime you to death and be abusive to your animal. Shoreline vet is amazing. Take your pet here and avoid Pet Doctors of America at all costs. One star is too generous for these greedy liars. If I could give them negative rating, I would. I doubt very seriously that many of these reviews are actual customers. It seems too suspicious and too many people I know avoid them.

This has to be the worst correspondence I've ever had with a veterinary office. I call the office…read moreand ask which days they perform surgery. My pup needs a dental cleaning and these are performed on days surgeries are done. The woman on the phone says she isn't sure which days are for surgery. Ok, maybe she's new. She asks for a call back number. 4 hours pass by. I call back. She answers. I identify myself and she says she's alone and doesn't have the information yet but she would call back. This is odd. Is this a new establishment? I don't ask but say ok. Next day I call and a new woman answers. I identify myself and explain everything. She says she sees a note left by the other woman. I ask the woman in the phone if she has the surgery dates and I ask if I can schedule something. She says she isn't able to schedule anything and she doesn't have the pertinent information. I ask if there's anyone else i can speak to and she says no. I'll have to wait until the other woman is back to the office the next day. So, 2 business days in a row and I can't get any information or schedule an appointment with this vet. Next day, I call back and reached the initial woman I spoke to and get a lot of information. GREAT! I get a form sent via email that they need filled and to send it back. Great! No problem. I send the form, my pup's vaccination records, medical history. They then ask for a copy of my driver's license. This is unprecedented. I ask multiple friends and family if they've ever accounted this (as I haven't) and nobody has ever been asked for their driver's license at a vet's office. So, via email (see photo attached), I ask the office why they need my license as this is irregular. They could have responded saying it's just their protocol. They could have responded with a string of bad incidents with clients. Instead, the office seems offended! In 30 years of being in operation no client has ever asked such a thing! So, instead of simply answering the question I get what seems to be a nuclear response. I'm to blame and how dare I question them! Who am I to ask?! What nerve! They informed me that my appointment has been cancelled and my pup's records have been shredded. I've never in my life!!!! Read the office's response in the attached photo.
