My local Walgreens but only go here when I'm desperate. Usually at least one person outside asking for money. Pharmacy line is always there, outside drive up is worse than coming inside. Today's experience included an employee accusing someone of stealing candy and they had to find the receipt in the outside trash to show they purchased somewhere else. I went in to get a friend of mines some cough drops for her sore throat. Some depressed old man had the nerve to talk down on me because they was doing the floors! Look idc what your doing you dont want me on your floors close the store, have some signs up or better yet drive through only. I dont like being talked down to like im a kid or a dog. **Pharmacy review** Went in to pick up an RX and to try and get a flu shot for my daughter. The person at the pharmacy couldn't have been more bothered by my attempt at getting this all sorted out. For some reason they insisted I get the flu shot scheduled through the app regardless of the fact that the app was saying to contact a team member and somehow they lost my insurance info for my prescription. The entire time the person seemed so incredibly bothered by my presence and honestly, I hope this store is on the "to cut" list for Florida. It's only gotten worse and worse over time and after this interaction I'm moving all of my RX's to Publix and Amazon and will NEVER set foot in another Walgreens. read more

Absolute worst pharmacy customer service I have ever experienced. To say they are slow is an understatement. The staff is very rude and does not care about the customers or anything that seems relevant to taking care of the people who are there waiting. Walked up today to pick up medicine for my wife and got told, "hey you need to wait I have other things to do besides help you." I have NEVER been talked to like that in any way from a business before I even speak. This Walgreens is absolutely terrible! Especially the pharmacy. Not only are the shelves often barren and in general disarray but the place smells... Plus you're guaranteed to get hounded for some change in the parking lot. I wasn't going to bother leaving a review for this dump but I visited this location twice within the last two weeks to fill some prescriptions and I will make sure to never do that again. Last week, we scheduled our vaccination appointments. They rang us up at the counter and billed our insurance. Then we waited for like 20 minutes. Then the pharmacist came out and said he could not give us the vaccine unless we had our vaccination cards with us, even though we told the tech we didn't have them and she said it was fine. Then they had to process a return. It's still on our account that we got the vaccine, so we had to call and ask them to remove that from our account. No one knows how to do that, apparently. We called this morning and they said it's not on our account and we would not have any issue getting it done. But my god, they need customer service training immediately. I was just on the phone with the pharmacy and when I said "thank you for your help" the man on the phone just said "mmhmm" and then hung up. I don't know who taught this person how to work, but this not the way to conduct yourself. This is so unprofessional. Walgreens needs to do better for their customers. We rescheduled our appointments for Publix just now. I can't support this pharmacy until they improve. read more

I live a block away and frequent this Walgreens often. Its absolutely awful. The shelves are so empty you would think the place is going out of business. Even basic essentials are never in stock. There is no rhyme or reason to the layout of the store. Items are often priced wrongly. Almost always understaffed. I just can't understand how this location is SO bad. Unlike other reviews, I can't say I have ever had an issue with staff. They are pretty friendly with me (maybe because I'm a regular), but the store needs new management and a serious overhaul. I never write reviews but had in this case. O stars. The pharmacy manager needs to be fired even though he has been there for 20+ years. I am the caregiver for my 91-year-old mom. I have been trying for months to get her prescriptions delivered but it never seems to work correctly - I have called and visited the store, and called the 1800 number but something always goes wrong. Either they send it to my home or do not send it at all. I was in Europe and my mother needed her heart meds. She tried and once again something went wrong. They promised to send but she didn't get it. When I got home, I was helping my daughter with her 2 children ages 2 and newborn since they were sick and her husband is on deployment for a month. I asked the pharmacist if he could please deliver my mother's prescription. He said something about the credit card not working. I said I would come in and update it since I had a fraud issue while in Europe. I asked if he could please still deliver if I came to do that. He said if I come in I might as well pick it up and take it to my mother myself. I said I wanted to get this delivery issue worked out since I was going out of town again. I wanted to test the system. He said, "You can't deliver a prescription to your mother - it's your mom and you can't help her?" Are you kidding me? How dare he judge me. I go to every doctor's appointment my mother has and she has a lot between her cancer, heart disease, primary care, and orthopedic issues. I am the only child living here to help her. I just need to know if the Walgreens delivery system works when I am away next week or when I am at work or helping with the grandkids. I told him that was not appropriate for him to say and he has no idea what customers may be dealing with. He then lied and tried to twist the story and said I was the one who said I couldn't help my mother. I am a healthcare professional and this attitude would not be tolerated where I work. Slowest pharmacy in town.... and rudest attendants (I could go into story after story but you will just have to trust me. I wouldn't comment on this if it didn't happen over a long period of time on a consistent basis.) You are asking yourself right now, "Why does she continue to go to this pharmacy?" Answer: Because I am too lazy to change. Be sure you understand your health care policy. I have to remind, argue with, and prove time and time again; what the actual charge for my prescriptions should be. If you do not have 20 to 35 minutes to wait in the drive through or inside line in the pharmacy, then this is not the pharmacy for you. Now, a plus is they have longer hours than other pharmacies in town. Be careful when you visit this pharmacy at night. There have been many times I've driven up at night, then driven away because questionable people were standing by the door or close to it. I'm not a cautionary Nellie... I live in this neighborhood and it's a beautiful combination of old historic charm meets urban streets. The establishment is moderately clean and the front check out attendants are usually "pleasant enough". I do agree with another yelp reviewer in that, it does seem like the workers do not enjoy their time spent working here at all. read more

Riverside's Walmart. Super convenient for us, as it's right down the road. And it's a Walgreens, so you know what to expect, what they offer, etc, etc. Pros: Drive thru RX pickup at this location, excellent people watching after 8 PM, and they do have a limited selection of beer. (save yourself the heartache thou, and just cross the street and hit up Beer:30.) Cons: Super long lines at times, you might just get approached by a homeless person for money (in store and out) and some of the cashiers are slower than molasses. Parking lot is small and drivers are aggressive for the limited spots. read more

This might be a small Walgreens, but they stock it with so much stuff, I doubt you will have a problem finding anything here. You will rarely find empty shelves and this particular store carries a little bit of everything. It's always clean inside and the workers are pleasant, the parking lot is well maintained and lit appropriately at night. The drive-thru pharmacy is a nice thing to have. Slow to process customers at the drive-thru, and if there's an issue with your order you won't know about it unless you affirmatively call them and request that they correct it. I've no idea what's going on in their Pharmacy but last month I got a prescription filled and this month they wanted five times as much for it. The price is never the same each time I go for the same medication in the pharmacy. I also hate the way they bellow across the whole store at you when you walk in the door. The Beauty Department is one of the worst I've ever been to in a Walgreens as they're empty shelves and a very poor collection of products. I found it, and the tag for it said, in large letters, "Sale" and "50 percent off". The small print said, "buy 1 at $25.99, get 1" Yes, i should have read it more carefully. I know that. But i still consider this to be deceptive marketing. I was in the advertising business in the early 70s, and I've also designed and painted a lot of signs since. I know about this kind of slimy gimmick, but somehow still got fooled. I hate being made a fool of by scammers and slick ads! So I went to the window, angry and embarrassed, to register a complaint about their marketing department. The African American girl with the thick glasses laughed at me like Walgreens just fooled another stupid customer and isn't that just the funniest thing..? I went home and called.
