I made the false assumption that this pharmacy exemplified various surrounding businesses. I was in awe when I walked through their automatic sliding front doors! The spotless and well organized interior commands your attention first. I took a moment to take in the bright white floors and the streamlined isles of every OTC product you could ever need, no more no less. But the real gem here is the employees! The staff is the friendliest and fastest I have ever come across, especially for a pharmacy! I actually hesitate a little to recommend them too much, I don't want my cool 7 minute wait to dissapear. This truly is a gem in Springfield! Most of us need medication at some point, if you live or work anywhere near downtown or Springfield, make it quick and easy and fill it at Premier pharmacy. What I needed was out of stock in the warehouses that many large chains use, but she was able to order it. She also took the time to have a lengthy conversation with my doctor. When I went in to pick up my prescriptions Pinky (the pharmacist) was very friendly and so pleasant. Her husband was helping in the store and even asked if my granddaughter could have some candy. This is the mom & pop type of business that rarely exists anymore. I transferred all of my medications to this pharmacy because I felt very strongly I can depend on her for the medical advice I need and the personal service I want. This is a locally owned and operated pharmacy right on Kingsley Avenue that carries a great selection of products for all of your medical care needs. It's also a full service pharmacy where you can drop off your prescriptions and relax in the adjacent waiting room while it's being filled. There is plenty of parking and the customer service is friendly and personal. It seems like they have a long standing clientele and it's conveniently located across from OPMC. When I go in they always ask about my 95 year old father and they make home delivery for his meds. Last week Walgreens referred me to Panama Pharmacy for some special medical equipment. I was shocked that the big pharmacy referred me to this neighborhood store but learned that they are Walgreens Goto for medical supplies. I often go out of my way to support this local small business and hope others do this as well. I don't expect their prices to be the same as a big store that can purchase in bulk. They make up for this with their personal service and convenience.
