Lazma to the rescue! I spent 50 minutes in the store trying to return an item. The original customer service associate and the manager weren't much help. The employee who added the barcode to the item did help move the process along, but some of her comments were unnecessary and came across as rude. Once the barcode was on the item and I returned to Customer Service, Lazma was there. Even though the barcode still didn't pull up my purchase, she quickly looked it up another way, processed my return, and had me out the door in no time. I only wish she had been there from the beginning! Lazma deserves 5 stars for her excellent customer service. Unfortunately, because of the overall experience and the rude interaction earlier in the process, I'm giving this visit 3 out of 5 stars. read more

I had a tire pressure light come on my vehicle, so I stopped by to see if they could double check my air pressure. Jay was able to help me out and get me taken care of immediately. He remembered that I had stopped in about a month ago to get an oil change done. He made sure that the vehicle was good to go and that the air pressure was correct. This store is notorious for not making sure you got all your bags. Do yourself a favor and self checkout cause the baggers don't care. You will not get your money back - or your purchase. I was on my way to the airport to pick up my granddaughter who is coming to visit with her parents when my wife reminded me, we had not yet brought a nightlight for my granddaughter's room. It was almost 11 o'clock at night and that left me with one option for a nightlight and that was this Walmart supercenter. I went in and it's laid out a little bit differently than the smaller Walmart that I go to usually so I had a little bit of difficulty figuring out where a nightlight might be. Not to worry though! One of the night stockers noticed me looking up at the aisle signs and she asked me if I needed any assistance. Rather than point me the way, she said, " let me walk you over there, it can be a little tricky because the aisle numbers change patterns on that side." She walked me right to them and I paid and was on my way in no time, and made it to the airport in plenty of time before they arrived! read more

WOW! So many bad reviews from Walmart, what's up wid' dat???? I'm gonna show some LOVE to Walmart, as it's one of my favorite stores to go to for snacks & automotive supplies. On the road in Texas, the first thing I usually do when I travel is to look for a Walmart so I can buy some bottled water and pick up a few things I may have forgotten. Luckily for me, this particular Walmart was only a few short miles from the hotel I was staying at, so I found this store quite convenient. This particular Walmart store I went to is HUGE!!! Much larger than the one I frequent back home in da 808, because this store also has a grocery, deli, & bakery dept. I found my bottled water and also picked up a t-shirt to sleep in because it was a little chillier that I expected up here in Texas. On my 2nd time coming back to Walmart for more water days later, I also stopped by their bakery dept. and picked me up some dessert. I find Walmart as a "one stop shop"..........you can almost get everything you need here. read more

This was the worst shopping experience I have had at a Walmart and that is saying a lot since my expectations are low. This was a Saturday afternoon prior to a cold weather front. When we arrived there were lots of carts in the parking lot corrals but no carts had been brought back into the store. As we moved through the crowded store there were 1-3 empty, abandoned carts in almost every grocery row. This caused further congestion of the busy aisles. No store employees were seen collecting the empty carts, either in the parking lot or inside the store. Most of the perishable food areas were empty. Very few fruits or vegetables, no bacon or meat. We did not see any employees restocking the empty food aisles. This store appears to have transitioned to almost entirely self-checkout. There were two lines of people with carts waiting to check out, the lines snaking all around the store. The only place I visualized an employee was pointing out to people where they should go to scan their own items. Based on this experience I will certainly never return to this store. read more

Horrible customer service. My senior citizen mother was checking out and the items she wanted had no barcode. Instead of making an exception and selling her the items, these rude and unhelpful employees and management refused to sell her the items. The employees here are like total zombies who have no concept of customer service. They have no problem inconveniencing a senior citizen. Horrible people! The irony is that they wear vests that say "HAPPY TO HELP" when they couldn't be more unhappy and unwilling to help. Shame on them and Walmart! read more

The store is fairly clean and the shelves are stocked. Recently they removed their self checkout stations and went back to traditional check stands. In theory this should make things faster, but they don't have enough cashiers, the cashiers don't know how to run a check stand with any urgency. I used to be able to shop early Saturday or Sunday morning around 0930 and be in and out under an hour. The check line took almost 25 minutes at that hour. It appears I am not the only one to have an awful experience at this location. They have a lot of employees standing around doing about everything except helping customers. The lack of concern for customer service and experience at this location is only eclipsed by the other Irving location. I try to avoid both Irving locations but just went in for a few things tonight. Big mistake. The managers of this location don't care about customers and their employees follow their lead to the bottom. And having only 5 self-checkout lanes (that I could see) for the whole store is a joke. I literally plan my big Walmart trips for when I will be in Grapevine or Flower Mound. Worst shopping experience in my life. Ordered a bike online along with helmets and a bike lock and some other stuff. Their system is so dumb. They wanted to deliver the five items on four different days. The bike was supposed to arrive on a Tuesday and never came. So on Wednesday around lunchtime, I started getting text messages that they were on their way and then another one that said they were really close. I was standing in the front of the building waiting and no one came. Then all of a sudden I get another text message that says the order couldn't be delivered And that they had tried to deliver it, but it was being returned to the store. This is all BS. Because I was standing right in the front of the building and there was nobody there. Nobody tried to deliver it and nobody did deliver it. This led to 30 minutes of chat messages with the robot and me canceling the order both the parts that I had received and the parts that I hadn't received. But I have no confidence that any of this will get resolved quickly or effectively. Truly, one of the worst experiences of my life and something that could've been very straightforward, but turned into a freaking nightmare. read more

Spent 22 years in the Military been to plenty of 3rd world countries in that time (to include war zones) and going to this store is worse than a lot of the 3rd world countries(to include the war zones) Ive been to. Ive seen women on more than on occasion with an exposed breast out and a 4 year old child in the her cart playing with the exposed breast like its normal. Even the employees are 3rd world. Don't expect to ask an employee a question and have it answered in English. Theft is so high that the store has taken out ALL-I said ALL of the self check out lines, so expect to wait in long lines. The last time I was there I waited in line 15 minutes only for all the checkstand's computers go down before I was able to check out- I waited another 10 minutes before just walking out with nothing. I have been to many Walmarts in the surrounding area (including this one) and I promise you that you will see gang members/former gang members from south/Central American gangs- you can identify them from the tattoos on their neck and face. In my honest opinion these stores are very unsafe because of that alone. read more

This Walmart is terrible!!! I went in at 7:30 to get a thumb drive from electronics. There was no one in Electronics. So, I went thru an unmarked door in the back to look for some help. After me shouting "Hello" three times, some guy came out from behind a rack and simply said, "You can't be back here!" No question to see if I needed help. I told him no one in Electronics and I needed to buy a thumb drive. He just kept saying "You can't be back here!" I told him the door was not marked "employees Only", but he didn't care. He FINALLY offered to help me get what I needed. So, I went to Customer Service to complain about how I was treated. Of course, there was no one there!! I will never go back to this Walmart!!! The Walmart on 4100 Airport road has the most rudest employee. I asked the employee behind the deli counter to change her gloves after seeing her dig into her private area while on the phone. How am I the duke of Walmart and have not written a review. I am going to give the benefit of the doubt here for this review. I say this because you just can't beat the prices they offer here. Yeah, the place can be a mess at times. Yeah, there are some crazy people that visit the store. Yeah, they sometimes don't have the items you need. Yeah, the lines are long. Yeah, yada yada yada, we all come back. It's a Walmart and for the most part, has everything I need at a good price when I stop by. *Use Walmart Pay and sign up for savings catcher. Walmart scans the competitor's prices and if the competitors price is cheaper they refund you the difference. No clipping coupons or bringing a shopper card. I personally have received over $100 in refunds from Walmart through this program. read more

I come here once a month or so for groceries and other items. This store is huge and you will definitely find what you are looking for. It might take you a while to do that, but this Walmart does have an amazing selection. The staff are not always the friendliest and helpful, but it is a mixed bag of people, so you may end up with anyone. Everyone ends up shopping at a "Wally world" sooner or later. The prices are just too inexpensive to pass on. This one is a full service store: groceries; pharmacy; auto care; eye center, etc. This Walmart is not as junkie as many usually are. This location is usually clean and less cluttered. As long as I don't come here on a weekend, I can get in and out quickly. The weekends are overflowing with human beings; you've been warned :-) I like that this locale offers self checkout. Overall, the items here also tend to be of better quality. We all know how grocery stores and "big box" stores place "nicer" items in locations they consider "upscale." It's a frustrating true fact. The folks in the auto center are friendly and helpful. Other workers here walk off with a glazed look in their eyes if you ask for assistance, thus the two stars. read more

This place is terrible! It's never clean and although they carry a lot they don't do much else. They have the laziest staff ever, and they're rude! I had an employee cut me off in line and take over a photo printing station and then she refused to let me go first even though I was in line! Absolutely horrible and they don't even process their own photos anymore, they send them out if you have film or a disposable camera. The only thing they print in house are from their machines which never work! I always have bad experience here and they wouldn't get business at all if they weren't so close to my office. Mr Artwood is a great manager and great person. I was having problems with using our new WIC card for my newborn son and he came and corrected his workers mistakes on the charges in a positive way. He even took time out if his busy day to further help me find the correct baby formula that was being covered by WIC (unfortunately Walmart does not accept WIC for baby formulas). Mr Artwood was super busy with his coworkers asking him questions but he still took the time to handle my problems first. Love going to this Walmart with Mr Artwood in charge. I came to the automotive services twice. First time I waited an hour and they didn't even start on my car yet. Second time, hoping for a better experience, I came in today to get an oil change and tire rotation. They told me hour and a half. Two hours later I look and there's no one even working on my car. I ask them what's going on and they all look at each other like "I don't know, Im not working on that" and they worked on cars that came after me. They seem like they don't care about making you wait this long. I know these things can take a while, but at least give an accurate time frame. It was incredibly frustrating. If and when I must shop at a big-box Walmart (versus Walmart Neighborhood Market), this is my location of choice. As others have noted, this Walmart tends to be cleaner and less cluttered than others. They do a great job with inventory control as they usually have what I'm looking for. The only exception to this is the Ozarka bottled water. Either they have a supplier problem or there are lots of water drinkers that frequent this location as ~25-30% of the time the stock is depleted. Based on my experience, customer service at this location tends to be better than most. There is always a floor associate available when needed. When I'm unable to locate the Ozarka bottled water I usually ask an associate to be certain I'm not overlooking it. They are always friendly and often times check the back area for inventory. This location does a great job of having a sufficient number of checkout lanes open. It's rare to find lanes with more than 2-3 shoppers in them. On top of that, the cashiers seem to care about their job and often make small talk with each customer. This makes for a fairly painless checkout. Additionally, this location has several self-checkout lanes along with the 'twenty items or less' lanes. read more

First and foremost, they have the best grocery pickup ease and policies than other grocers. If they are out of stock on an item, they get you the comparable match or upgrade. It's amazing! I don't shop at Walmart because I hate who they are and what they stand for. Every couple of years I end up ordering something from Walmart because nobody else has it and can get it to me on time. The previous time I shopped at Walmart was in 2016. It's 2020, I ordered an item to pick up in store. I got my item ready for pick up alert. I walked in the store but couldn't find their online pick up area. Their store is a mess and I'm not familiar because I don't shop here. I asked one of their employees where it was and he told me to go outside to the pick up area, just pull up in my car, and call the number on the sign. I called the number on the sign and mail box was full, nobody picked up the phone. Nobody was outside for me to alert anybody I arrived. Their app doesn't have that capability either. I waited in the heat for five mins and screamed wtf? Why is it so hard to get some attention around here? Somebody heard me scream then came and took my info. She said my item will be right out. I waited and waited. After 20 mins in the heat, I was furious. I screamed WHY IS IT SO HARD TO PICK UP AN ITEM HERE? An employee came and asked for my name. She said the other girl didn't check me in and then told me my item was picked up inside. OMG!!!!! That is the most infuriating process. You wasted my time. I reparked my car and walked back inside to get my item. It's 2020, why can't your freaking app tell me where to go and not waste my damn time???? The company is not efficient. I will never shop at Walmart again. I don't care how cheap their prices are. I will pay a premium to not have to deal with BS WALMART. Online there is a tv and I asked for and associate for help finding the tv. He stated he has it but for a different price. He called the manager (Tamika) for assistance. I told her the situation and she rudely said if you want a price match come during the day not at night. It was 10:00pm at the time I was there. I then told her she didn't have to be rude about it then. She said sorry and proceeded to walk away with no care in the world. This has been the rudest anyone at Walmart has been. I will definitely not be going back to Walmart to do anymore shopping. I will be talking my money els where. This Walmart is always full and they only ever have 4 registers open. This location is just fine. On the clean and well kept up side. I would not recommend going grocery shopping here on Sunday as the produce is picked over. Friday is the best for produce shopping, in my experience. Occasionally, the home repair section is out of items needed. Last night we needed an electrical cable connector to install a new garbage disposal and they were out. Quick fix for us, but it would have been nice to have had it in stock. Wal-mart is dipping its toe into organic and hormone free products and there are some at this location so look for those in the grocery section. This store has the garden section on the far right. And the pharmacy, hair care, personal items, toys, hardware, electronics, etc are all on the right hand side of the store as you enter also. This is perfectly fine since you don't need to worry about these items getting warm while you shop for your milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt on the other side of the store but, you may actually want to consider your space planning on your cart or perhaps bring along a spouse or the kids for that extra cart help should you need it at the other end of the store.
