I think they forgot what Customer Sevice is Photo center person at lunch. No one covering walked to the back to the front waited at the Customer Sevice line forever while all the other workers were talking, then was told to go to the back of the store where an associate with meet me ... they had a huge attitude since it's my fault that the person was at lunch? Ended up the pictures were chopped and I can't use them. I think I'll be staying away from the photo center at Walmart and Walmart in general. I'm not sure why the manager looked at the long line at customer service and continue to chat and move carriages around. I feel sorry for the customer service person who had to wait on people and answer phones. Some improvement can be made for sure. Suggest they look into it. read more

Yes it's a smaller sized Super Center but it's easy in and easy out. Not as busy as some of the bigger Walmarts. People who work there are really nice and unlike that bigger Walmart in America's Hometown they don't treat you like your some world class thief when you shop here. read more

The store is too small to be considered a Super Center. It's almost like a convenience store; selection is so small no matter which department you shop in. I wish they would have stayed a regular Walmart instead. Back then the selections were great no matter which department you were in. Also, self check-outs are never a good idea. No customer service that way. Please have more than 1 or 2 manned registers open. I also noticed price differences between Halifax Walmart and Plymouth Walmart, Halifax prices being higher on some goods. When I questioned that, I was told that it was location related. read more

Usually not stocked well on weekdays. Used to enjoy shopping here, but now they are always busy. Doesn't help that employees and online shoppers take up the aisles with their big carts and don't care about shoppers around them. I don't know why they can't just park their carts at the end caps. read more

Stopped in here when I was in the area with my Dad & the fam! It was my Birthday & we went there so he could buy me a new camera... (I know right, I have like a new camera every year, Im obsessed with photos)... The store was pretty big & Is a Super one which is good (Super as in Groceries)... The shelves werent as stocked in several diff areas as I would have liked... It was the day before Easter & there was only 1 Easter aisle... Now I get that they might have had much more out in the last few weeks and I was done Easter shpping several weeks ago, I just needed ONE last thing & I couldnt find it... The store was pretty large for what it was, and the Electronic section was out of everything I could have possibly needed so that bummed me out... Then we get to the front and almost ALL the registers were open, that was a huge PLUS!!! Most walmarts I go & there is 2 aisles open... But this was refreshing that they were banging out the lines, Boom, Boom, Boom!!! All in all a good stop, if in the area again I would stop it! read more

Walmart Supercenter - a red pickup truck parked in a parking lot - Department Stores Near Me - Halifax, Massachusetts

Just had my kidney removed on June 23rd 2021. Since then I have had some trouble with certain body functions. Went there today had to use the bathroom I went to front of the store and couldn't believe only one stall and it was occupied. So not to be discouraged i went to the bathroom towards the back of the store same issue. If you are going to have a store that huge have more than 2 stalls. read more

I was looking for a fan. An employee told me that fans are seasonal items. I checked anyway and there were none in the store. It's September 15th. It's still technically summer so.... ‍ tomorrow will be 84 degrees. Also I'm not sure why a super Walmart wouldn't have fans all year. read more

This review is specific to the tire service center. Any money you might save is not worth the aggravation. I bought 4 tires and as suggested, I came at 7:00am when they opened to have them put on. The first thing they said was there are no technicians so we don't know if we can do anything today. A few minutes later the two techs and some other staff showed up late. by 7:45 after filling out information and them finding the tires, they said they would be done 1 to 1 1/2 hours including an oil change. It took them 3hrs and 15 minutes to put the tires on and they never did the oil change. The service is terrible, again, it's not worth the aggravation. I'll never go back. read more

I'm not sure how this Walmart qualifies as a "Supercenter". If anything, it should most certainly be downgraded to a regular Walmart... if even that. The reason I've rated this location so low, is that this particular Walmart a) is set up weird b) doesn't have half the stuff you'd expect it to c) has completely apathetic and disinterested employees Biggest issue from the above mentioned is that their departments are very sparse compared to most Walmarts I've been to, especially when you're talking about a Supercenter. Today, I went there for a couple of affordable wardrobe items for my grandma, and walked out sorely disappointed. The clothing departments are all crammed together. The women's clothing is mostly on shelves, with the exception of a few hanging sections within the aisles. I kept wandering around in circles, in disbelief of how little merchandise they had. Usually there's a "Juniors" section, a "Women's" section AND a plus-size section. On top of that, this Walmart sells NO jewelry. I mean, none. No watches, no necklaces, no earrings, nothing. The shoe section is also sparse. The employees, in my opinion, need retraining, specifically when it comes to helpfulness and "keeping busy" on the job. I spoke with 2 employees while looking for the jewelry department. One woman I had to interrupt in the middle of a gossipy conversation with another employee. As I approached a checkout station, my cashier was over in the next aisle chatting with another cashier, and not at her register. I asked her several times to spin the baggage area so that I could put the full bags in my cart; I guess she never did hear me. Before I could even leave the checkout area, her other cashier buddy came over and they resumed their chat. I'm not a budget shopper diva extraordinaire, but you do come to expect a certain level of service and aptitude-- not to mention merchandise availability-- from a big-box titan like Walmart. read more

From the standpoint of personal protection against COVID19, the sad truth is that while this place has a long way to go, they're better than many. At least there is self-checkout, with a masked assistant helping everyone. They have blocked entrances to reduce cross traffic--need to be careful not to block proper egress in emergency. They have taped the floors with arrows to try keeping flow in singular direction. Some people did not follow. Don't like seeing mask-less stocking dudes leaning over food bins. read more

I can't state enough I so wish we had real people at a register, not a machine, nor an employee checking me out at self-serve. That just makes it seem like we like using self checkout. I rarely go into our Walmart anymore. I don't know what Plymouth is doing. I only know we are separated enough. We've given up hugging and chatting in person, handshakes and so much more. We can't see smiles or faces or if someone is sad or hurting-we're masked like we have no humaness. At least in some stores you can have a person actually helping which I greatly appreciate. People mean more than money. When is enough money enough? Please at least let us have real human beings. Let's not lose the most important asset-people. read more

This store is poorly laid out and very under staffed. When you go here I would check if they have what you want in store online first. I have had several unsuccessful trips due to the lack of inventory or lack of products they carry. I will still stop by for the have to have its but I prefer to go elsewhere. read more

I went to a first communion celebration yesterday. For dessert, the parents of the child who received communion brought out a sheet cake. Admittedly, I am a bit of a food snob and was picturing a dry as saw dust cake with frosting that tasted like pure sugar. I took a bite and was blown away! Moist cake with tasty frosting! My friend's husband is a chef and he was sitting next to me and was likewise blown away as were the other guests! We asked where the cake was purchased, expecting an exclusive boutique bakery. And were admittedly taken aback when we were told Wat-Mart! My friend who purchased it heard the Wat-Mart in Halifax baked their sheet cakes on-site and they are divine! Goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover! This cake would have rivaled anything from a fancy bakery! read more

this store is horrible,it is basicly a grocery store & not much more. everytime i go there & ask for something the employees say i don't know or we don't have it here. today was the final straw for me though when they had only 3 registers open & the place was packed!! from now on i'm going to just drive to the plymouth store. that having been said,their pharmacy is awesome & i will continue to go there because they are the only department that has their act together. read more
