Had a great shopping experience at this Walmart. I was looking for a product and could not find it. I asked an employee named Jamey for some help even though he was stocking shelves and did not have a hand held device to help him. He went to where the product was normally stocked and it was sold out. He could have said "sorry it is sold out". But he looked up and said there might be one on top of the shelves. He went and got a latter and found what I was looking for and handed me the last one of this items in the store. What a great employee Jamey is. read more

I went in the Supercenter on Hwy 49 today to buy my monthly supplies. I also needed some t-shirts. Of course this is under locks now as they will not prosecute shop lifters. After waiting 10 minutes for help she asked if I was done shopping. I told her no. She then told me I would need to pick this up at the service center. I told her she could have all this back. joined the walmart plus, ordered from walmart at 9350 hwy 49 in gulfport ms. my order was $47.35 they put a $104 hold on my account, the next day they charged my account the $47.35 for my order. the $104 stayed on hold and still is on hold !! so i pd three times what it wouldve cost if i went and got it myself and could take up to 10 days for the hold which was twice amount of my order to be released, still waiting for release. dropping membership from these crooks and shopping somewhere else !! dont trust these idiots ! read more

Stay away from Walmart auto on hgwy 49. They believe screaming at the top of their lungs at customers is acceptable. Went for a set of tires this morning. Told it would be an hour to an hour and a half. After close to the hour and a half a mechanic came out and said they only had 3 tires. The manager hadn't come in yet. 9:30, and Noone had the keys to the storage. I asked why I hadn't been told that when I dropped the car off. He apologized. Nice young man. As I went out to get my car another mechanic started screaming at me, Mike. Iw wasn't allowed in the shop, no signs, but he was out of control. Tried to call store manager but phone system protects them from unhappy customers. Stay away from Walmart Auto and go to a real tire store. read more

Even Walmart pickup orders are a nightmare. Expect to wait in your car for 45 minutes for anyone to come bring your items. Just go get them yourself at this point. Walmart pickup is a complete waste of time. No one ever answers the phone in any department, and they'll hang up on you because they don't want to help you. Negative 5 stars. read more

They don't call it "Ghettomart" for nothing. The "cashiers" have very bad attitudes and everytime I shop there they are all in my basket like TF?! I have never stolen anything. Also I deliver for Walmart Spark and if you pickup an order there be prepared to be behind schedule. They couldn't deliver an order on time to save their life. And if you don't help them put everything in your car they will just through things in there causing damage like squished bread, broken eggs and broken bottles. And most of the time when you're helping they do the very least to load your car, picking up one thing at a time and leaving the heavy things for you. They are very VERY lazy! Oh and make sure to lock up your cars, especially at night and make sure to be close to a camera. The parking lot is usually filthy and finding loose weave on the ground is very common. And don't dare report anything to the manager cause somehow they will gaslight you and make you the bad guy and fix absolutely nothing. read more

If you want a special sort of hell, try Walmart within 48 hours of surgery. But, I was staying the night with friends since I was discharged from the hospital after surgery, and they lived in town. So, my friend drove me here to buy necessities as this was an emergency visit, so it was a necessary evil. We picked up a few groceries for them, and the basics for me. While this was a special misery, the aisles were clean and free from debris, and they had what I needed. Thankfully, we went on a weekday, so there was not much trouble. Seriously. We were in and out within a half an hour, so that is a small miracle and worth all 3 stars. The people watching was not fantastic during the middle of a weekday, but the service was quick. Service was sufficient. The parking lot is worse than the interior on a weekday. For a Walmart, being on pain killers is the way to go. read more

When I looked up the definition of chaos there was a picture of this store. Wal Mart is the store that people love to hate. I had sworn off ever returning to a Wal Mart, but the convenience really pulls you back in. Then I experienced the Pass store and was flabbergasted. It has the Wal Mart stuff, but also offers great customer service and isn't jam packed with people. This location could learn a thing or two from that location. This Wal Mart is the very first Super Center I ever visited. Of course that was back in the 90s, but I stopped back in a few days ago on the way to a movie to pick up some essentials. The store had what I needed, but it was a chaotic experience. It all began in the parking lot. I try and park as far away as possible from the folks jockeying for front row parking. I picked out an end spot as far from the front as I could get. The walk from there to the door was terrifying. Cars were zipping around that lot with no regard for anyone else. The people backing out of spots and waiting for the nearly open spots were just as bad. Look people; walking wont kill you, but hitting me with a car will kill me. Slow your roll. Inside wasn't much better. There was no sense of order or direction. People were travelling every which way with their baskets and refused to yield. I'm talking people blocking complete aisles by parking a basket mid aisle and blocking the remaining space with their bodies. I wanted to start playing bumper baskets, but stooping to their level wouldn't solve anything. I was able to find the stuff I needed after about half an hour of chaos. The check out process was relatively easy compared with everything else. I opted for self check out and managed to only have to wait behind one person who couldn't understand the concept. In closing, come here only if you enjoy chaos. If not, you're better off somewhere else. read more

Needed to pick up a few supplies before continuing on our journey West. Large superstore, tons of people on a Saturday. Produce selection seemed fresher than other Walmarts we have been to lately. The shelves were barren of some of our staple items, diet cola, avocados, breakfast bars. But chock that up to the staff not being able to keep up. Grocery aisles seemed a little wider than other stores as well. You could actually get two carts at a time next to each other through the aisles. Clerk was friendly and courteous. read more

Jackson Hewitt tax service was pleasant & friendly while I was still frustrated and somewhat unkind after leaving H&R Block and their poor customer service practices. They saved me the same money that would have been saved at the other location, but their price is a little higher. Fortunately, they give very generous discounts for coming over from other places to have your taxes done, so I'm happy! read more

I called Walmart to find out if they had a turtle in the department that they were selling fish in and the female who answered the phone in customer service at 3:20pm 1/20/21 said to me ma'am we don't even sell fish here any more. I'm from out of town visiting in Biloxi. I decided to go to the Gulfport Outlet. After the shopping, I wanted to pick up a bottle of wine for New Years Eve. I stopped at this Walmart and went to the restroom first. Let's say it looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a LONG TIME. The restroom was filthy. Several women commented on how nasty it was. I have shopped at a lot of Wal-Mart stores in different states and this is the absolute worst. There's a security guard when you first walk in -- "a big red flag." It's literally like a zoo, crowded and extremely strange people. It's not a safe place to shop. I will drive out of my way to shop at another Wal-Mart. We have traveled all around the country staying at Wal-Mart's in our rv. We came in to gulf port to stay for a couple of day while traveling through. We have spent 1000's of dollars with Wal-Mart in the last month as we did again here. We went I to get groceries and some local beers that we can enjoy along the trip. As we had tons of stuff in the cart my 17 yr old son was unloading the stuff from the cart as I a 35yr old veteran was checking out. When the register prompted us for a are verification the attendant came over and said she would not sell us the beer my son touch but would sell me the beer my son did not touch. I immediately asked for manager as they were claiming they were following a state policy. After pulling up the state alcohol and proving that They were incorrect. They changed their motivation and stated it was a store policy. Again I asked them to produce the policy and they said they didn't have to. I talked to Lena the assistant manager who stated that she was the one in charge and she would not sell me the alcohol. I am not happy with treatment I got and the fact that they are quoting policy that is incorrect. I am disappointed with the customer service that has made Wal-Mart a household name. read more

The new cash registers are more than 75% self service. With just a few lanes open for a full service shopping experience, everyone must have quit from being overworked. The new employees don't know how to use the cash register so after I checked out $250.00 worth of groceries I was told my credit card didn't work. I had another cart in the garden center and checked out with the same credit card just fine. I went back to get my groceries and asked for my basket back which had been dispersed into 3 different baskets. At first I was ignored. Then the lady who doesn't even know what I bought starts handing me items one at a time like a zombie. Another employee gets upset and says I did not pay. While I am trying to gather my items to check out again they treat me like a criminal. Meanwhile another employee thinks it is funny and goes into a screaming laughing fit. on August 25, 2017, We called to Wal-Mart to see if they had this particular tire (255-70-16) Goodyear/Wrangler?? He was told they did not have the Goodyear Wrangler and they did not carry it anymore, but he was told what they did carry. So we went to Wal-Mart to look at the ones they did carry, just to see if they would fit the ones he already had. We made it there at 3:30. The place was chaotic. The workers were everywhere. We couldn't get any service because the young lady was busy getting tires for people SERIOUSLY. I definitely know its not enough workers, because they were doing to many different jobs. So we waited about 20 minutes and she call us to see what we needed. We told what size tire we needed. We waited another 20 minutes and our tires were finally brought out. Guess what the wrong tires!!!!!!!!!!!! But in the meantime everyone is looking and shaking their head at how unorganized things are. We left because the tires that were brought out the second time wasn't a match for the tires we have. We left at 5!!!!! All of that time with no tires!!!! The next morning hubby decided he need to go and find some tires. He went to PTW, Goodyear, and Tire Kingdom didn't find what he was looking for. So something told him to go back to Wal-Mart. So he went. He went to the counter and asked did they have the (225-70-16) Goodyear/Wrangler??? The cashier said let me look. You will never guess what he said. Yes WE HAVE THEM; HOW MANY DO YOU NEED???? I am not sure what's going on with customer SERVICE and the leadership at this particular store, BUT IT WAS RIDICULOUS.
