I like Lee's. It's an international market with a lot of good options. The store is a little run down and there tends to be freight in the aisles but the cashiers I have dealt with have always been very kind. They have many types of ramen bowls , fresh seafood and other hard to find Asian ingredients but not much in the way of sashimi grade fish or other speciality items for sushi. read more

It's great to have an Asian market like Lee's Asian Mkt in the area--it definitely fills a much-needed gap. The prices are fairly reasonable, and it's nice to have access to some of the essentials. That said, I think the experience could be even better with a bit more organization in the aisles and produce section. Coming from the West Coast, I'm used to seeing a wider variety of international cuisines, so I'd love to see the store expand its offerings to include more global ingredients. It may be located in a shady part of town but the wide selection of asian food, ingredients, meats, and fresh fish was worth the visit. As I walked into the store, I was greeted by one of the ladies +1 for friendliness. I checked out the seafood area in the back, I'm no fishmonger, but they looked fresh to me. I perused the isles just because I can and had time to kill. I found tons of asian dry and canned goods (Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, and maybe even some Indian stuff). However, my favorite part of my visit was the veggies and fruits area where I bagged 4lbs of persimmons. Really firm and sweet just the way I like 'em! Ding! +1! One of the reviews mentioned that this place was dirty and they ended walking out. NOT true! The place is organized and cleaner compare to the average asian stores I've been to. The most pristine asian store I've ever visited was isle 6 at Safeway/Fred Meyer. Real asian stores are usually rough around the edges. Highly recommended! If you want fresh seafood there is no better place in the Biloxi/Gulfport area than Lee's! Their seafood market has it all. Drum fish, redfish, catfish, mussels, lobsters, and more. They also have lots of pre-packaged fish. It seems like most of this grocery store caters to Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine but they also have ingredients for Thai, Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Indian, and Filipino food. Located in East Biloxi lays Lee's supermarket off Division street. This supermarket has all the latest and local Asian grocery eats. They may not have everything your looking for but has a wide variety of grocery's and food. The prices are not your typical as for buying produce or condiments considering they are just 1 of 2 Asian supermarkets in the local area but hey what can you say about supply and demand? This store has fresh veggies and a good size of ramen in packages and all your favorite exotic fruit. They sell your typical Asian candies, crackers, and drinks. They also have a liquor store next door open from Monday to Saturday. The freezer section is decent with a nice arrangement of frozen premade items such as eggrolls, bao's, and noodles. The workers are eh just working and the cleanliness is okay. They also sell prepared food such as desserts and have a nice French bread selection. Overall I really cant complain about this store since it is the really only Asian store you can be getting products from here on the Gulf Coast unless you make a hour drive to NOLA or maybe even Mobile. We bought one of the Peking ducks and it was delicious!!! We went for mushrooms, rice noodles, and onions. Ended up leaving with frozen dumplings and four kinds of mushrooms! I love this store! The store and pharmacy are amazing!! The store is owned by such a nice family and the staff are always willing to answer your questions. Apart from having your favorite ramens and snacks, they also have amazing tea selections, sauces, fresh produce, and even cooking tools! You can find almost anything at this store and from a wide range of countries too (ex. Korea, Thailand, India, Vietnam, China, Japan, and Philippines). I'm glad there's an Asian market around, but I wish it were cleaner. I wouldn't purchase meat or fish from here, and have seen several flies around the meat/fish dept. In fact, you can smell the fishiness the minute you step foot in the store. I purchased some frozen items such as shiao pao (It's like Manapua--steamed pork buns) and potstickers, both of which were good. I have always been one to support my local markets rather than the Walmart's and Winn Dixie's, not to say that I don't shop at them but when I can I prefer the local spots. I tend to find that their produce is generally a bit more healthy and organic than the stuff sprayed with preservatives found elsewhere. It might not last as long but I just find that locally grown things taste better and reduce my environmental fingerprint. Lee's Supermarket (has taken over the old Food Tiger) is the relocation of Hong Kong Market that used to be on Oak Street and Howard Avenue in Biloxi. If you are looking for baby bok choy or aloe vera tea this is great place to get any not only Asian fruit and vegetable you cannot find anywhere else. In the back they have a butcher which has a wide variety of meats. I don't know if they do specialty cuts but next time I go I am going to find out. It is a little out of the way for me but when I am in the area I am definitely stop by and stock up on my asian condiments and fresh produce. read more

Lee's Supermarket has the best selections of Asian groceries and cooking equipments in the area. Staff is efficient and helpful. If you love cooking and/ or eating Asian food, chances are you'd find this place intriguing. It's great to see a big slab of pork belly or chicken feet for making tasty stock. Where else would you find pig's blood? However... I have a huge issue with overall freshness of their products. Some days I'd walk in and find fresh, crisp herbs for making awesomely flavorful Thai food. Then another day I'd go back and find slimy, almost-melted mushrooms right next to it. Same problem on their offerings from the meat/ fish/ seafood counter. Some pantry items are expired on the shelf. They often have eggs in non-refregirated area. Despite their roasted pig or duck looking so crisp and delicious, I could never bring myself to buy them because I saw flies inside the case on three separate visits. It is very frustrating to see expired or unacceptably old products regularly in the store, because I really want to try them all. It appears that the management do not care. WTF. We used to go to the old hong kong market before Katrina. Lee's is the larger reincarnation of that wonderful old store. You have a much wider variety of choices when it comes to ingredients. The very best spareribs I've ever cooked were bought at Lee's. The best thing is that you can get greens at Lee's all summer long--of course we're talking Asian greens, but they are delicious! The day that I was there, the seafood did not look the best, but that happens. The fish eyes just did not look fresh. I found many teas, spices, and vegetables that I like to use in my Asian cuisine. I will definitely go back whenever I am in Biloxi. Prices were good, also. read more

This store has every thing you need as far as Asian groceries. I usually go in there to get rice wrappers for spring rolls and fresh basil, mint, cilantro, bean sprouts, green onions and rice noodles to make pho. I took my mom last week for the first time and she went crazy when she saw the pork belly and Chinese style barbequed pork, Asian pastries as well as some kitchen tools like she used in Thailand.
