Today I was there at 6:30 on the dot, and asked if I could possibly get a filet, and the schlub that worked there tells me they won't have any more until next week. I ask for the tenderloin, which is what they cut filets off and he looks at me like I'm crazy. So not only is this employee lazy, he's incompetent. Management nowhere to be seen or help, so they don't care either. The store is open until 10. Why are the butcher and fish breaking down before 7? This has happened on more than 5 occasions. Customer Service Sunday Aug. 2, 2026 4:05pm…read moreThe lady behind the sushi counter was so rude. We spoke as we walked up. Never raised her head. Ok. Maybe the Vietnamese lady didn't hear us. The lady literally told us she was busy. Well. Needless to say. Walked out and went somewhere else. I spend my money where there is good customer service.

It's your typical budget-friendly grocery store with all the usual stuff... deli counter, bakery, the works. I was just passing through town and needed something quick to eat, so I grabbed some fried chicken and St. Louis ribs from the deli. The ribs were okay, nothing amazing, but hey, it's not like I was expecting barbecue joint quality from a grocery store, you know? The chicken was alright too, though I'll be honest... when I had the leftovers the next day, they were pretty meh. Still edible, but definitely better fresh. Overall, it's a solid option if you need groceries or a quick meal and you're not expecting anything fancy. Does the job!

I choose to try to buy what I assume is fresh, they state with a significant degree of huff, locally grown produce. I drive here to do it. And now, I again find I have been taken. I see the rotten peppers, tomatoes, on display. Note it, pick more carefully always which is a stinking shame. But you try to support this idea. Bought sweet corn, was admonished for opening one, so stopped and just picked out half dozen. Every single ear was moldy. Every one. And if when people ask questions of the main fella (cash farmer fella) We weren't met with arrogant attitude about why are you asking that, or do you THINK I grow that! I guess I would be less fed up? This is not freshly grown and harvested as is boasted, or by goodness there's a bigger problem! Seeing very rotten tomatoes. Peppers, etc should not be happening? You set up THAT morning!! Like an hour ago! It's a scam but it's all we have this feels like. Either manage the produce as you should, bring on lackeys who get placing leaking soft smelly produce out us a joke, and clean up this stand. It's awful. It's not what is advertised. And it's every single week. Being the only game in town shouldn't cause lousy quality as the standard? I want to know exactly where this stuff is grown. Period. I don't want to smoosh my way through way past selling produce that someone just placed in front of us? QUANTITY DOES NOT MEAN QUALITY- what a shame both the community standard and the ocean springs markets standards are so low-- well we've always done it this way hold no water, it's indulging a group that is not keeping up their end of a bargain.
