Came into Walmart #1346 to pick up a few things. I'm disabled so I grab one of their electric carts and start my shopping trip, I didn't even get to pick up the first thing when the cart stopped going forward back by sporting goods. I could not get it to go forward just reverse, I tried turning it off and back on, I stood up and sat back down, everything I could think of. I had to back that thing from sporting goods to the GM side door. I passed three Walmart associates and one of them some kind of manager, tried to get their attention to the situation but was ignored, got all the way to the GM door and told the person on the door her name tag said Antoinette, she just shrugged her shoulders and ignored it. What has happened to customer service, what has happened to people to make them ignore you. Walmart corporate I hope you read this either fix these carts so those of us who can't walk all over your store to get things can do our shopping or get better employees. read more

Pretty standard Walmart Supercenter with an Auntie Anne's and vision center upfront, grocery section and plenty of cheap supplies, clothes and electronics. The one gripe I have is the parking lot chaos and how slow it makes getting in and out of this place...the angled parking and sometimes two-way lanes are downright dangerous for pedestrians and drivers. read more

My first time in this place I made an honest mistake and walked straight into the women's restroom. After remarking how progressive it was that they didn't have any urinals, I did my business in one of the stalls (all of which have tall and low privacy walls). Once a couple of women started chit-chatting at the sinks I realized my mistake and briskly exited saying "Oops" while one of the ladies exclaimed "That was a dude!" Thankfully security didn't try to apprehend me and force me to make up some nonsense excuse about identifying as a woman. They even let me shop there afterwards unmolested. It appears employees are getting paid to walk around on their phones. After waiting 15 minutes to have a jewelry cabinet unlocked for me, I was excited to see another employee walking around on her phone in the jewelry department. However, when I asked her to let me in the jewelry cabinet, she replied I had to wait for the other lady who had been helping an elderly couple for quite some time. When the other attendant locked up the watch cabinet, I asked her if she could help me, and she said not until she was done with the couple. Who had moved on to an entirely different section. In the meantime, the other lady is still walking around on her phone and I approached her again and asked her if there was another key to which she replied no. So the purpose of paying her to walk around on her phone in the jewelry department is?!! read more

I will no longer shop at this store. On Good Friday the made a small group of Christians move from the parking lot who were only handing out bibles to people who wanted them. They didn't approach anyone. They just setup and had free bibles to those who wished to take one. Not my type of store. read more

The Walmart Supercenter in Ocean Springs, MS, is the ABSOLUTE WORST for delivery and pick up. I placed a delivery order on 6/17/23 between 7-8pm. I got a text saying my order was delayed. It never came so I rescheduled the delivery for 6/18/23 between 12-1pm. I got a text at 6:29 AM that my order was cancelled. Ok, weird but whatever. I placed the same order for PICK UP on 6/19/23 between 6-7pm. I send my daughter to get it, she parks in stall 14, all checked in. She's been there since 6:30 PM & it's now 8:48pm!!! There were 22 spots filled with customers waiting for their orders and NOT ONE WALMART ASSOCIATE CAME OUT! My daughter called the number on the stall, no one answered. I called customer service and the woman said we were the 4th or 5th customer that has called with the same issue. I got a call from the manager, named Brent or Brett and he was SO RUDE! He said it's policy during lighting/thunder to keep the employees inside. That's great but you're telling me that not ONE person(like him) couldn't have let the 22 stalls of customers know???? He said the customers are welcome to get a buggy and load the items up themselves. Soo once again, the associates are getting paid while the customers are doing their job for FREE. We went here because we were looking for some cheap Saints and Mardi Gras gear and also needed to get a few other random things (cups, drinks etc). The store was not really clean. The staff could have cared less. The restroom was dirty as hell and in general, not a great experience. Generally speaking it was like every other Walmart experience I have ever had because Walmart just sucks and there are no Targets nearby. read more

Sometimes one thoughtful and professional person can make all the difference. We had a problem with a table we bought at this WalMart. Nice table, but it must have been dropped during shipping, as there was a rather nasty impact crater on one edge of the table surface. So we went back to WalMart and visited Customer Service. Long story short: Richard was a champ. He came up with solutions we'd never have thought of -- each was convenient and encouraging and demonstrative of the fact that this guy really gave a hoot (and also knew his stuff). I showed up right before closing time, on a holiday weekend, and he didn't bat an eye! Such a great example of what customer service should be. This Walmart rarely has working handicap shopping carts and not enough handicapped parking. It is a busy store and notice how many people are struggling to get around in this large store. They have a good supply of items, but it is difficult for older people to walk it. they bused to have benches to sit, bu have reduced them handicapped and older people would stay longer and shop longer. Prices are fair. Lately the cart attendants have been letting carts take up parking places. read more

I went to the auto center just for an oil change & tire rotation and a man accepted mine and another's cars to do exactly the same thing. Right after we went in the store to waste some time the man went on a long lunch and no one worked on our cars. I was there for over 2 and a half hours waiting. This is outrageous & frustrating. Not impressed with this Walmart at all. Since it opened up a few years ago little has changed in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. The parking lot is a disaster with garbage and carts all over the place. There is no large notice telling people which entrance is open or closed. The employees seem unhappy. For some reason this store still doesn't stock any kind of low sugar, low carb, organic, natural or healthy items!!! It is such a shame because they really ought to be doing more in their obese community. They're supposed to keep paper bags on hand but they're always out. It is ridiculous because they don't get with the program like the rest of the country has, because some of us are not interested in choking birds and fish with plastic bags. When I've gone there with my own tote bags they will absent-mindedly still start putting my things in their own plastic bags and I have to get their attention again and tell them to listen and put my things in the tote bags. There was one lady who did not understand what I meant when I said I wanted to use my own bags which still makes me laugh. Overall I would only go to the store if nothing else is open and I'm super desperate. Rouse's down the street seems to have at least a few more options in terms of healthier products. I would buy things with Amazon Prime instead of spending more money at this store. read more

I had a horrible experience at this location yesterday. An employee there was out of line and should have been fired. I have attempted to call the store twice to get the store manager's name. I was told that they could give me a customer service manager but not the store manager's name. I waited over 10 minutes on both calls and no manager came to the phone. Usually in the customer service industry, they say, the cashiers are the last face and the last or only person a customer might have contact in the store. Well, this is very true. They make a lasting impression. Although a lot of times I have to in and have a good experience with associates, it's not consistent. The cashiers have an attitude, they don't greet you, and if your say thank you (because they won't say it) they respond with a low "yah". I'm not sure what is that supposed to mean. It's just courtesy. I don't understand how can Walmart hire so poorly. They are so many great people looking for jobs with greater work ethic and they choose people like that. It's just sad. If it wasn't so close, I wouldn't even bother going in. But at the same time, they are so many great people working there, that is sad there tainted apples damaging my personal impression. Im starting to use the self register more and more. I didn't want to, because the more you use it, the less cashiers that will have jobs. This Walmart is hit or miss as far as Customer service goes. The cashiers are usually very friendly, you do come across a not so nice one from time to time. The customer service desk on the other hand is a different story, more times then not the service is horrible. I can count on one hand probably the times I've had a good experience with someone there. The selection at this Walmart is pretty good compared to most. The deli meats we buy are always delicious, (we get the Prima Della.) The produce department looks really nice since they have just redone it. We have had a not so good experience with the tire department but I won't knock the review down any further because that would be a one star rating. All I can say about that department is make sure the prices they tell you is what it actually is and also if they say they have a part I would double check before you wait two hours then to be told they can't help you. read more
