Rouses Market was started by Anthony Rouse, Sr. back in 1960 with a single location in Houma, Louisiana. It has since expanded to over sixty locations across three states (Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama). The thing that I like best about Rouses Market are the local items and I am always heading home with several items that I simply cannot get in Florida. I picked up some local food stuff that I can only find in Cajun country. The staff at this location was friendly and professional and this store is pleasant and welcoming. All in all, I would definitely recommend this location of Rouses Market or any Rouses Market location for that matter. If you are in the area, come check them out. I give this particular Rouses Market location five stars overall for a completely positive and upbeat shopping experience.

But what those laws have forced me to do is plan ahead, and visit places like Rosetti's. In some ways Rosetti's is a pretty standard MS high end liquor store. There is a fairly large selection of wines in the middle of the store and the surrounding walls are stocked with liquor. Prices are very reasonable and I have even found some items cheaper here than in La. So what sets Rosetti's apart and makes them a five star store? The staff. On more than one occasion I went in and picked up a bottle of Tequilla that was the standard size. The staff realized I could save money by buying a different size and pointed that out to me. It is not often that a place tries to save me money so I really appreciated that. The other thing that impressed me was the speed at which they were able to get me a bottle of Blanton's Bourbon. I am on the waiting list at like three different stores. None have come through except for this place. I may have been super lucky, but I was only waiting a week and it was in. They also held it for me for two weeks which is another example of going above and beyond. That Bourbon is very sought after so to hold it for two weeks until I came back in town without me paying for it is pretty awesome. If you're looking for a liquor store with a good selection, and great employees, you've found your place.
