it's your average Walmart, but nothing spectacular about it, but they do have the lowest prices of any grocery store around

The tall, big, bald guy at the tire center was rude and unhelpful! Thank god I went to Big O Tires!

We frequent Macy's a lot when needing to get clothes for occasions. They have multiple entrances, so parking usually isn't an issue here. The mall can get really busy during holidays, so it may be harder to find parking during these times. The entrance by the ladies/junior section has a women's restroom conveniently located by the fitting room. I have used this restroom often, and it's usually clean. Macy's sale racks are worth checking out. I found a cute sweater dress marked down for $22 that was on last act that I purchased. Original price was $80. I love a good sale. Fitting rooms are available in many of the departments, so that's never an issue. Most of the workers are helpful. This location also has a whole area for Macy's Backstage which is more clearance/marked down items. I found a pair of boots that were my size for $5, but unfortunately they were too tight so I decided not to purchase.

I find Macy's to be a somewhat confusing layout and harder to find certain products. The Mens…read moredepartment is upstairs unlike other department stores. The downstairs is divided up behind interior walls and the signage above the wide arch doorways directs you to the various sub departments. Walking into the store, one cannot help but smell all the pleasurable fragrances in their vast perfume areas. The store is bright, inviting and absolutely sparkles. Eventually I found the men's department up the escalator on the second floor. I was also looking for the "boys" department or young men's area but never found a specific area with those smaller sizes for teen boys. The sizing on pajamas has grown out of portion for a normal size person. Think of the swimming trunks for men these days. Some of them go down to your calves. I wear a large size in clothing. The small size of pajamas is like wearing a tent. The pants were a foot too long and the cuff of the long sleeves of the shirt went six inches past my wrist. This is why I was looking for young men sizes but they probably don't wear the matching pajamas style anymore. The did have a sale on the pajamas I did find. They were really marked down compared to other department stores. But not enough to offset the alterations costs for me.

I really enjoy that you can buy a gift and have it gift wrapped for free. You may pay more for your item at this store, but the service and amenities are above a box store for sure! We also enjoy that they have all your top brand clothing, shoes, and handbags. Plus much more. Don't forget the sale room that is full of shoes. They are very discounted. I like to support a store that knows how to treat its customers and is very personable in assisting. Did I mention they also still have the cosmetic counters also something that is very traditional and very helpful.

I love the two chairs and a desk on either side of the mall entrance. Very classy! All of the men's section is located on the ground floor and the second floor is pretty much all women's stuff. So counting the majority of the ground floor already appealing to the women, I bet they love this store with its vast amount of inventory. I found what I was looking for right away. There is a men's restroom by the elevator on the ground floor, but no signage alerting you to this fact. The women's restroom is on the second floor in the same general area, along with a very spacious customer service department.

The food options have changed and dwindled. The big department stores stay the same. TGIF Friday's is gone after many years. The one thing that seems to remain and allow parents some relaxation and the kids some fun is the play area. My son could spend hours here if I let him lol. He climbs, he walks, and he plays. There are comfy chairs and sofas to sit in. They have a charging station, and they have hand sanitizer!! The bathroom near the play area is family friendly and has a hard changing area. It would be nice if there was a lip there to ensure children didn't fall. The bathroom in the food courts is a whole different story. It is a FAMILY bathroom. There is no buckle on the changing table and the changing table tilts down. Perfect setting for a child to fall. The mall is light and vibrant in most spaces. My oldest, is 10... 14/16 was WAY TOO TIGHT. We had to get her, a woman's medium! Okay, both girls drank a growth spurt juice. Maybe they are a tad bit bigger, than the kids of their age. So, I guess just remember this tip, if your kids, are a little bigger. Back to the store.. Asset protection sits at the front door. She's a nice lady & seems to be vigilant. I completely understand that store carts can come up missing & they want to avoid a mess, in the parking lot; but not being able to take the cart, outside of the front doors, is a bit of a nascence. People fill their carts up, have kids; or both. I don't know what to recommend, just because I get it. Annoying, though. Another thing... I could NOT get the restroom sink faucets, to come on! I was working, hard! lol Luckily, I keep hand sanitizer. I remember, as a kid, they literally had a whole entire floor, or at least a huge section, of coats. It was like pulling teeth, trying to find coats. LUCKILY, I did find 2 coats, that are PERFECT! I just hated that I only had the option of getting a light pink coat, for my 3 year old; vs a dark one. I'm not too sure I like how the lines work. Difficult to find, if you're not paying extra close attention... and, once you get there, your cart kind of sits in the other persons lane. It wasn't a horrible experience.. just a few little tweaks, I'd like to see, changed.

Before entering, know cats and dogs are wandering freely if you're scared of either or have an allergy. I enjoyed visiting with both as we love animals, but again, we have no allergic issues. Don't let the stairs deter you from visiting as a ramp is located to the left of the stairs. It is slightly steep but manageable for most. You are entering two floors of gorgeous country, farmhouse, and primitive decor. Every inch of the two floors is staged beautifully. Most of the items sold have wonderful displays of how to use the merchandise. Wonderful ideas, and if you have any questions, just ask for assistance. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and answered all my questions. She allowed us to wander at our pace and not be underfoot. I was only capable of browsing the main floor today, but I do plan on returning to tackle the second floor stairs on May 6th. I love 95% of every display I saw. The merchandise is lovely, good quality, and makes an instant impact on your decor. Regardless of your decor, you'll most likely find something you can add to your home. I'm excited to return this weekend for the Spring Market at Take Root. If you're looking for something to do, stop by the Southside and check out Take Root and Abby's Closet (next door).
