Once again, this Wal-Mart came to my rescue. I had been to local liquor stores and no one had Topo Chico. I needed it for an upcoming party, because one of my guest uses as a mixer. Luckily, when I shared with the guest I was having a hard time finding it, she told me Wal-Mart is where she always finds it. So I did a quick google search and my Godfrey Super-center had it in stock. The stars were aligned and I lucked out, getting the last box of 12. While I was in the store, I noticed a sale on lemons. As I strolled through the produce department I saw good prices on limes and oranges, too. So, I went ahead and grabbed all my garnishes for my party. The reason I removed a star is, the store could have used a good cleaning and at check out they do not have "tap" as an option. Update your, Point of Sale. read more

Yesterday, I tried the Walmart pickup option for the first time. DONT DO IT! I won't ever do it again. Terrible experience, first off it took 30min from the minute I parked to the minute received my order. They were out of stock on 3 of the item I wanted and they were suggesting replacing large size swim diapers with small size swim diapers which is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. To top it off the guy that brought me my order kept the wrong item that we ended up deciding we didn't want because it was a suggested item to replace the item that didn't work. The guy that was servicing our order also was extremely slow and smelt like weed. Enough said. read more

I called at 8:30 this morning, four times, over a hundred rings and no one ever answered. If you do get someone by choosing a different number, nobody knows nothing about birthing no babies or anything else. I dread having to go there for things except what I can literally buy no where else. Call .com and talk to Raj who also knows nothing about nothing. They no longer offer free delivery on anything even over $50 because they want you to pay for Walmart plus. I have to buy a few things there but don't buy anything else. This Walmart is garbage! I just moved back to Godfrey from Edwardsville and you can't find anything you need in the Walmart be it groceries or yard supplies. My theory is that if I've gotta get 1 or 2 items in the Walmart and go some place else to get my other stuff forget it, I'll just shop at the other stores whether it's Schnucks or Lowe's! Until that's changed I won't be shopping at the Godfrey Walmart. It's ridiculous and when you talk to the associates all they tell you is yeah the Edwardsville Walmart is a bigger store! read more

I would give them a double negative. The day after mothers day I had found online they have the dishes I was looking for. So I bought them for pickup. When I picked them up they were in a box too small for them . The dinner plates all 6 of them were only 1/2 in the box along with 8 salad plates. None were wrapped or even in bags to protect them she comes out with this box that barely held all14 plates unwrapped. Here!! Last night I saw they had 2 more plates I need. So I order them for pick up. We got some things we needed and after paying went to the pick up area. The screen was covered so you couldnt check in. I didnt have my phone . I used my husbands to log into my account. It told me I'd have to come back tomorrow . I asked a CSM to get someone after 20 minutes we left. Oh and did I tell you I live 35miles away? .They suck !!!! I'll never use them again read more

I would do a negative 5 if possible. This is the biggeSt crap fest I have ever seen. I ordered at 2 pick pick up wasn't until 6-7. At 7 I called customer service and they were no help. Their big solution was to call the store and no one was answering. Then I call the store and they pick up no problem. I talk to someone who sounds like they would rather be dead than at work. They can't keep their stories straight. My order is almost don't but it will be 40 minutes but they close at 8 ( oh ya it's 7:15 at this point). I ask to talk to a manager and she looks in the same stupid system and says "well I have you for pick up tomorrow- WHAT! I was told they would call- they did not. I get the notification and I drive to the store and park in a reserve spot and call the number- goes to vm. I finally stop one of the employees who tells me the phone is dead. Terrible store at Godfrey. Poor customer service with online grocery pick up....always late. None or just 1 checkout lane open. Lots of empty shelves. I expect this store will be closing due to poor performance and poorly run. read more

Does not have as many items as other Walmart stores. Always out of stock on most merchandise.
