There needs to be better security in the parking lot. Twice now I have gone here and both times I am being hassled by a black man wearing a hoodie asking for money or a ride. The first time he told me he was trying to get home to Baltimore and was short $35.00 . He then told me a minute later that if I gave him a ride somewhere he would pay me $40.00. He also asked if I could go in the store and get money from the ATM. I was already in my car and drove off. Yesterday night February 4, between 9:00 - 10:00 pm, I had pulled into a spot by the entrance by the Dunkin Donuts. I was sitting there not even a minute and he shows up again and taps on my window. I ordered 4 tires on Walmart.com to be put on at their service center. I made a 8 am appointment to get the tires put on, they didn't pull my car in the bay to start until 8:54 am. I am wondering why you make an appointment if they don't follow it. The tire is a good price, but the service is horrible. Gave me back my car and the tire light is on with the right back tire showing 1 pound in it. They said they put 35 psi in it so what they are not saying is they messed up the tire sensor. I have been her now going on 3 hours now off a 8 am appointment. Now they are trying to tell me it is not on them when I have proof that it is. I will never come back here again.in fairness to them the manager did refund my money for tire balancing and warranty without me asking. read more

1 star for the Auto center because they suck. 5/5 for Kimberly who did investigative work and concluded the work/service was sketch. I bought tires from this Walmart not too long ago and as I was leaving the store I observed my tire pressure sensor not working. That same day, I took it back and asked one of the associates there who then told me I had to drive the tires for 50 miles before the TPMS would register the new tires. He also stated since it was colder, it would take a moment for the TPMS to register. It didn't. I took my car back yesterday and the younger black associate came in (after literally just putting air in my tires) stated that "it needed sensors". A very vague statement that will be brought up next time. I had to schedule another appointment to get whatever sensors put BACK onto my car which I recently found is illegal for a tire ship not to put sensors on tires but I'm an ignorant, non-car savvy person so I must suffer the consequences because I'm not familiar with tire nomenclature. This morning I checked in with Kimberley again where I then vented my concerns where she then also looked at me with a ghastly expression. Sensing something nefarious was transpiring she went through my previous work orders and saw that the technician notes from my very first visit indicated "no sensors" which is a load of BS! I then lamented and told Ms.Kimberly that my vehicle did have sensors when I took it in. The young black gentleman stated yesterday it "needed" sensors which could either imply it had no sensors to begin with or it needed a replacement. Like.... What is going on??? Lol??? Ms. Kimberley then took my previous work order and spoke with the head technician who then agreed to look at my tires sensors. Through the back and forth between the technicians, Ms. Kimberley and I, it was later conveyed that the young black gentleman then recanted his language and said "it needs new sensors". Like okay. I get I'm a dumb, ethnic minority who appears to be female (can't assume nowadays) but how badly do you think I am when it comes to comprehension? No sensors does not equate to needs new sensors? Bruh just tell me up front you wanna hoodwink me. Anyways, this place is hella deceptive, they try to blow smoke and gaslight you by changing their language, trying to make you second guess everything. I love this Walmart!! It's by far the best in the northern Virginia area! Very clean, very organized, and I love the lighting. I appreciate how fully stocked this location is as well. The parking lot is large. I do think I'll need some adjusting to the parking aisle single direction but hey at least it's keeping the flow of traffic organized! I'm not normally a Wal-Mart guy...but on a recent trip to Fredericksburg with my daughter we needed to pick up a few items...why not keep it cheap! We needed to pick up some food and some clothing as we weren't prepared for the crappy, cold, rainy weather we were stuck with that weekend. Luckily I found two cheap ponchos (which I've used multiple times already) and we grabbed some snacks for the rest of our day. I do have to admit, this is probably the nicest Walmart I've ever been in - well organized, neat, clean and the staff and cashiers were friendly and helpful. I imagine that when my daughter moves down here for school we'll be stopping in here to buy a lot of the stuff for her room. read more

EDIT: my experience on 9/19 showed me this location is hit or miss and therefore I have to edit my rating. On 9/19 they had items stocked with manufacture coupons on them that they had just put out because the coupons were not there yesterday. I was informed that since they had expired 3 weeks earlier the store couldn't accept them. I would think they would pull the coupons if they were expired when they stocked the shelves to prevent people from going to pay and then being told they won't be honored. Also the eye center accepts different insurances for lenses and the actual exam. They waited until I filled out all of my paperwork to inform me they actually don't take my insurance for the exam itself. My visit to the pharmacy on 9/18 was a good experience overall. I was there to get a flu shot. The first employee I spoke with was very friendly and immediately invited me to approach the counter and asked how my day was going. She was very helpful and directed me to the other counter to process my request. It did take a few minutes to get ready for me after I completed my paperwork. The pharmacy employee who administered the vaccination was also very friendly and helpful in explaining what she was doing. She was very personable and we had a short conversation. Overall, this experience was a painless, positive experience and I would visit the pharmacy again in the future. I also purchased some groceries after my pharmacy visit. I was having difficulty finding a few items and both employees I interacted with were very helpful. Both employees actually walked me directly to the items I had inquired about. I was impressed with this and their willingness to help me find the items I was looking for. read more

I have to say I was soooo excited when I saw the "pan" aka hot bread up front near checkout just like you have in Puerto Rico....wow, I was sadly disappointed!!! That display is just horrible!!! Walmart is one of those places that, if I'm going to go, I know exactly what I want and where it is so I can quickly get in and out! If I'm going to shop at this particular location, I normally go very early in the morning or very late at night. During the day, it all depends upon the hour you go and the store environment can be hit or miss, but in general, I've found this location to be much cleaner and organized than many others I've been to in the NoVA area. Never had an issue with obtaining help from customer service or other staff. Most of the time, they are the ones asking if I've found everything for which I was searching. My review, however, is mainly for their grocery pickup service. I know Walmart gets a bad rap (and it is understandably deserved at times :p), but I can't give this one any less than 5 stars due to their grocery pickup. The service is easy to use, fast, and the young lady that loaded my purchases into my trunk was careful and attentive. I received everything I needed (with a couple of sub items) and am very pleased with the service. If you don't want to be bothered with the crowds while shopping or given the time we're in, are worried about COVID-19, then I recommend using the grocery pickup. read more

You guys need to open more aisles post haste. Now i feel you in that you really want to utilize those sweet new self check out lines that you had installed, but thats for the birds. Not all of us like dealing with those worthless plastic bags that dont open or the tiny assed little personal check out area that doesnt fit my stuff. Self checkout is whem im getting some swisher sweets and a snickers, not when i got a cart full of cat food. Now back to those worthless bags that are too lazy to be bags. How on earth do i open them without seperating them? I try to use one and like 6357 bags seperate and come with. Not to mention its impossible to open without looking like im trying to solve the worlds tinest rubiks cube. So really, you have two aisles open on a busy monday afternoon with like 9 people waiting impatiently with full carts in each. The worst for pickups! I understand that staffing is tough right now and people are overworked. However, the last three visits here have resulted in waiting 30-60+ minutes for a pickup order that was confirmed to be ready. The staff seems to congregate and walk together so they can chat and walk as though they are trudging through a trough of molasses. Then there are several breaks of 15 minutes where no one is coming out, with at least 3 staff members on duty to deliver orders. I received an email today while waiting that my order had been picked up and it took more than 25 more minutes to come out. Target manages the same service in under a few minutes--every time. read more

I love the idea of Walmart. If we are traveling, we have actually stopped at four Walmarts in one day, just to see what items they had. I get loopy over clearance sales, especially in the craft sections. You can never have too much crack (crafts). The store is large and clean. The bathroom is "hit or miss." Two months ago an Onn tablet was purchased at Walmart. Onn tablets are a Walmart product. A couple of weeks ago the battery stopped charging; and when it's plugged into the charger it say's it's overheating. Went back to the Walmart it was purchased at in Fredericksburg, VA, Central Park Shopping Center to return it. I was literally standing right in front of the sign, at customer service, that states that Walmart is happy to give a refund or exchange on any purchase with or without a receipt for 90 days. Guess what; this was 60 days and they would NOT take it back. I was told that on this tablet it's only a 15 day return policy, even if the darn thing stops working and the claim it has a year warranty. All we wanted was a store credit to purchase another brand of tablet. This should be very easy for them, since all they have to do is send the returned back to Onn as defective. Now they've lost a more lucrative sale and a whole family of customers! I already knew that Walmart does price gouging on some necessary items--(such as baby needs), and some times of the year--such as during a snowstorm. For some reason this walmart has customers from Hell, they ride bicycles in the aisles, will cuss you if you try to get something, and steal your parking spots.
