As soon as I placed the ring on my finger, I knew it was mine. Today we spoke with Jackie, who was so helpful, and sweet. My man said Happy Birthday and bought my ring! We took pictures and Jackie was kind enough to take a few also. Jackie and I cried tears of happiness. It warmed my heart. These beautiful ladies are now part of our story. JCPenney had a great selection of shoes to choose from, was well-stocked in various sizes, AND was already running some Black Friday promotions a week before Thanksgiving. I picked up a pair of comfy Liz Claiborne pewter-colored flats for $24.99, marked down from $60. Extra bonus? They're memory foam. We checked out, and were headed to the door when my husband noticed an old favorite Fisher Price toy ... See and Say, The Farmer Says, which would be a good present for a nephew. So, it was back to the check-out line for us. $19.99. Not on sale. We checked out again, when I noticed some really cute slippers. Wouldn't they be great for Sue, and for Cindy, and for Misty, and for ... on those cold floors on winter nights? and, what a bargain, $4.99 each instead of the marked $10 each!
