This review is from a customer stand point and also from a point of spark pick up. Spark pick up I would give 5 stars! It is very easy. The staff you work with are really friendly. I have had some not so pleasant experiences especially with the self check cashiers. So the Board of Directors of WALMART decided that they're going to go all digital. So there's no longer tags on the items the clothing items that #1 wants to buy. This is outrageous and really really messed up. Customers cannot figure out the price of the items we then try to find an associate, which is like impossible at Walmart to look up the price. This is unacceptable. This is outrageous and this is total bullshit. There needs to be tags on the clothing items so people can figure out how much the items are. This is not helping the customer. This is just confusing the customer which is what the board directors and Nick Cabal want to happen. Make no mistake. WALMART for tractors and owners are the one percent. They Epstein class. I would say this is the lesser of the two Fort Collins Walmart locations - the variety is smaller, there seems to be fewer staff, and the customer service desk is often unstaffed. I visit if I'm nearby but my go-to is on Magnolia due to their larger selection and better, more helpful staff team. read more

I bought a pair of store brand winter gloves here that basically fell apart within a few days.

Everytime I come I feel discriminated against for either my age or my looks. Constantly followed around the store and harassed for my receipt when they don't ask the person in front or behind me. Sorry I come to Walmart in sweatpants and not a suit and tie. Target would never read more

I've always known that Walmart is ghetto, but I'm amazed at how they have managed to lower the bar even more. Delivering products a full day later than quoted on the first order, the next order I placed later on was also delivered well outside of the quoted delivery window; delivered by a worn down white van with missing hubcaps, with the delivery dude that basically threw my new laptop on my front doorstep. Extremely bad experience in the self checkout area this morning. Employee Denise was incredibly sarcastic, rude & belligerent when the scanner machine malfunctioned & she had to reset it; suggesting that I had done something wrong. When I calmly suggested that she work on her customer service skills, she angrily responded that I hadn't followed her instructions & said that I was "copping an attitude." Wow. Unacceptable. I reported the experience to the store manager & will be calling corporate office. Don't know if the poor customer service was contagious in the store today, but I encountered another sarcastic & grumpy female employee near the cereal aisle. She was pushing a large cart towards me when I asked if she could tell me where Kleenex was stocked. She rolled her eyes and said "Turn around. You're still in grocery. Kleenex is in the paper aisle (using a sarcastic "duh" tone). Time to schedule some customer service refresher training. read more

For the many years that this old Walmart site stood empty I have thought about many a "dream" retail anchor that I'd love to see in Ft. Collins that could come in and redevelop the site (e.g. Costco, Trader Joe's, Fry's Electronics, etc). Suffice it to say, I find it rather anti-climactic that it has been re-developed into (wait for it) ... a Walmart Supercenter. Really? A town the size of Ft. Collins needs 4 Walmarts? Okay, two are technically on the outskirts of town, but with Sam's Club in the mix too I find that to be an alarmingly high per capita ratio. With that little rant out of the way, I do have to say that I did stop by this new Walmart when I was on a comparison shopping mission for a household item. As far as "Supercenter" goes, this is a smaller store with a more rational parking lot than the one on Mulberry. Selection for the item I was researching was minimal, lower quality, but cheap (as per their business model). I'm not sure if selection here is more limited because it is a smaller store, or if this is par for the Walmart course. Getting around in the store was a bit annoying, in that there is less square footage here but there still are all those displays of super special bargain deals in the middle of the main aisleways that you have to navigate around. The grocery section is pretty small, but I didn't spend much time looking around. So, you know, it's a Walmart. I hope the fact that it is there helps the surrounding businesses. read more

I live very close to this store, and have never had the experiences some describe. My mom is 80 years old and the pharmacy staff are superstars in my opinion, always patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I have noticed someone dropped vegetable leaves on the floor and others had rolled over with carts. I approached the nearest employee and she stopped stocking and cleaned it up immediately and thanked me for helping keep customers safe. I assumed when the store reopened that baked goods were shipped in from another store, until I met the baker one day and she explained all the baked goods she made daily. I have noticed that the store employs several challenged individuals responsible for more that bagging groceries and stocking shelves...Bravo! A fairly high percentage of this store's customers are seniors. I doubt they would frequent this Walmart when another larger grocery store is caddy corner to this location. These employees smile when you interrupt them, work very hard and take extreme pride in their store. I salute them, and am sorry that the experiences of others have not been as wonderful as mine! read more

This Walmart surprised me. I walked in and every employee I came across genuinely smiled at me or asked how I was doing. If I look lost they are MORE than willing to help. EXTREMELY FRIENDLY! I'm not used to that at a Walmart! It's smaller than most locations and doesn't always have everything I need, but that doesn't bother me because everyone there is so helpful and smiley. This is the only Walmart I go to now. read more

Went to this walmart this weekend to look for a Jacket. As I'm walking in, another man walking out tripped the alarm. Staff all look at him and just watch him go without saying anything. I went to men's clothing to check out their jackets and I am unable to try any of them on because they have a cable running through them that locks them to the rack. A nearby employee is watching me struggle with this. When I turn to ask her to unlock it she just walks off without saying anything. If theft is such a problem that you have to lock down articles of clothing then maybe you should say/do something to the people who are shoplifting instead of making it an inconvenience for everyone else. I wont be returning to this location. read more

This Walmart is by far the best in town. No fruit flies on the fruit (yes they are all over at the other ones). This Walmart has a lot less traffic which makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience. Yes it has far less product, but I am ok with that. The employees are always smiling and I see managers interacting with product every time I come in. A manager named Glen even helped me bring in a wheelchair one day which was highly appreciated. Every time I go in I get asked multiple times if we need help finding anything. The ladies in the bakery always go out of their way to slice some bread for me and are very nice about it. read more

I visited today. I had just a few items but decided not to do self checkout. The cashier, Colleen, didn't greet me or say anything to me the entire time she was checking me out. She never even told me the total to pay. I had issues with my payment going through. She was very rude and blamed me for the issues with the system. She called a manager. He was very nice. She did not know how to run a transaction using Wal-Mart Pay. It was easier to use my debit card, which went through with no problem. She never apologized, said thank you or goodbye. I like this store because the staff is very friendly and helpful. But I will wait in a long line before I go through her line again. read more

Matt, one of their managers, is the picture of amazing customer service. He went way above and beyond to make sure that I had what I wanted for my son's wedding! Seriously he was so kind and helpful. I went into this particular Walmart to purchase fabric. There was no one at the counter but there was a bell. However the bell had a sign taped to it saying it doesn't work. I was carrying my basket so I set it down and went to find an assistant. I found one in quick order and he got on the intercom which didn't work. He left and I heard him ask for assistance at the fabric counter. Still five minutes later I was still waiting. At this point I'd been at the counter nearly 10 minutes. So again I leave my basket and go in search of help. I go to a counter three aisles over and find not one but two associates standing and talking. I asked if they could help me and was told they would call for someone. After a few seconds I hear them call for assistance at the fabric counter. By now I'm watching the time. Six minutes later I see someone coming. The assistant walked within two steps of me at this point a woman came up and asked him if he could help her in the paint department. Now let me say I'm not a tall blonde white woman. I'm of Mexican descent and am experiencing Bell's Palsy. It has affected my appearance. I've had stares and rude comments directed toward me. His exact words as he walked past me were spoken into his radio. "Can someone else go to the fabric table. I'm going to go mix paint." How insulting. I had been waiting and he simply chose to bypass me. I said excuse me I have been waiting and he didn't even acknowledge me. At this point I'm embarrassed and upset. I go to the jewelry department because I see three other employees standing and talking. I ask if there is a manager and one of the gentleman tells me he is a manager. I tell him what has happened. His response. "I'm sorry that you had to go through that." That's it. No assistance offered. No offer to send anyone or even to assist me himself. The three of them just stood and looked at me. It's not something that anyone should have to go through. And still no offer to help. Embarrassed and feeling very much discriminated against, I left. This was at 3:40. At 3:46 I called and said I'd like to get in touch with the corporate office and before I could ask for the number he said then call the corporate office. Now at this point I'm done being treated in this manner so I say I am calling for the number and am transferred without warning to customer service who tells me they don't have the number. This goes beyond failure in customer service. Those associates weren't interested in assisting me. I'm not the ideal in appearance but to have someone simply look at me then walk past me and call for someone else to help me then ignore me when I called out to him is unacceptable. However the manager's indifference shows that it's systemic at this location if not in the company. I say this because when I called corporate they were just as indifferent. They will let me know if they will investigate depending on what the ethics department decides. THEY will decide if they will investigate.
