The first prescription was an antibiotic, the second was migraine medication (and now my wife has a migraine without medication). I understand if you can't get medicine, but at least attempt to give us accurate timelines. Both times we were told to come back at a specific date/time only for it not to be ready - twice. Never again.

My thought here is that this was a Thrift Drug since you usually found them in a strip mall. Rite Aid swept in, gave it a makeover, and slapped their name on it. Even though the inside of this was newly remodeled it still had that feel that it is underutilized. You get that feeling because of the lack of items available on the shelves and in the coolers. I browsed for a bit, picked up a few items, and made my way to the counter. There was a minimal wait until a staff member who was performing two jobs in one came to the counter to ring me out.

I have regular monthly prescriptions and my husband does as well and I don't particularly care if I don't get any sort of rewards for purchases or prescriptions like I did at our last pharmacy, because, the service, time they spend with us, genuinely wonderful, happy people, is worth much more than all of the Extrabucks in the world ;) I am treated with nothing but respect here, something I have never been able to find elsewhere. (I believe due to my disorders/diseases and medications.) The pharmacist, well, everybody, are always great! Always smiling, eager to help, remember who you are and what you are dealing with, I mean, this pharmacy is a God send for our family. I also love that they sell some really cool things for little ones! I often have at least 1 kid along with me and he is also treated with nothing but respect and lots of smiles and he loves picking up stickers, candy, Slim Jims and anything else he can find and get his hands on, lol! I also love the prices on cards, candy, stickers, birthday candles, gift labels, all of the extra things we often need! Oh, I also am thrilled that they sell 1 of my favorite brands, Hylands. I will be filling my family's prescriptions here for good. I won't even be persuaded to switch to another pharmacy, no matter how many rewards or gift cards they offer. I can't say enough good things about this place. But, I would and do, recommend them to friends and anybody who is local.

It's interesting we find they have difficulties processing scripts that were never difficult at other pharmacy locations. This was never an issue at the Rite Aid in Hershey (too bad they closed). And the GIANT pharmacists are great. We returned to CVS after Rite Aid closed. And are having the same exact difficulties with this CVS pharmacy that caused us to leave them 13 years ago. Seems the problems are deeply ingrained into this company. Advice- do not fill scripts at this pharmacy. Go to GIANT instead. They are helpful and able to resolve and conflicts with insurance or doctors with professionalism and ease.

Sadly twice in one week I've had to complain twice about the behavior of a young man John. He works at self checkout. He's very anxious to convince you that your credit and debit card is declined. He claims "the system doesn't accept Apple Pay, Chase or use of the phone to pay for purchases" He repeatedly told me I couldn't pay by phone. This was false. Payment was obviously made when the receipt came out. He walked away and said nothing. Again, stood and watched while I HAD 30 plus items. The regular register was closing down, same "John" stood over me again and watched me, offered no help. When I felt he was predatory, and borderline harassing me, I started to record him. He told me to stop. I told him it's my right in a public place. You may ask, I can decline. He was absolutely unbearable. The manager approached, confused. These employees are completely rude and incompetent. I cannot give this place business. I'll go to Giant.
