I was told I couldn't be there because the employee was helping another customer. I understand privacy, but there was no one else visibly waiting. I was directed to a sign, but I had approached from a different direction and didn't see it. The interaction felt abrupt and unfriendly, and I chose to leave my items and go elsewhere. I've noticed similar behavior toward other customers before. I hope customer service improves.

The employee said it was hours ago you were at the dentist! It was ONE minute after 6:00, their closing time. Very unprofessional. I would like to see people be understanding in this world instead of lashing out at others in anger. I am taking my business elsewhere.

They are often unwilling to help when you have difficulties processing a script. They expect you as the customer to make all the calls. It's interesting we find they have difficulties processing scripts that were never difficult at other pharmacy locations. This was never an issue at the Rite Aid in Hershey (too bad they closed). And the GIANT pharmacists are great. We returned to CVS after Rite Aid closed. And are having the same exact difficulties with this CVS pharmacy that caused us to leave them 13 years ago. Seems the problems are deeply ingrained into this company. Advice- do not fill scripts at this pharmacy. Go to GIANT instead. They are helpful and able to resolve and conflicts with insurance or doctors with professionalism and ease.

Melissa Schlenker, who I believe is the Head Pharmacist, does such an outstanding job of going the extra mile for each and every customer. She has the patience of a saint and is outstanding in every way. Her assistant, Kelly, is excellent as well. She knows her job and does it so well. I am thankful for such great people at our Hamburg Weis Pharmacy. I will conlude by saying that Amy Breidigan, Front Desk Manager is just wonderful. Always helpful and with a smile on her face. These 3 gals are at the top of anyone's list. Professionalism at Its Finest!!!

I really would prefer not to see someone's bologna sandwich and soda laying out being eaten while I'm getting my prescription filled. It's just nasty and unhygienic. And please, when you're waiting on me, swallow your chips first. I also found it annoying that I waited and waited in line and some woman came in after me and the girl behind the counter saw her and called her up in front of me. Now I can understand that perhaps she had been there previously and had waited and was just coming right back in to pick up something (however, I had been standing there for quite some time, so she didn't just run out to her car to get her check book). But if you are going to take someone on line ahead of someone else who had been waiting and waiting, you don't just look past the next person on line, totally ignore them like they didn't even exist and give a big smile to the person who just came in and call them up in line. At least acknowledge the next person in line, give a little smile and ask, "Do you mind if I take her first? She was"......(fill in the blank with your valid reason). Because I hear the announcement that there are phone calls for the pharmacy that are all ignored. But I honestly blame the app because the woman who had to help me was completely fed up long long before I finally made it to be waited on! We are aren't currently able to schedule your 2nd dose right now. This morning I went to the CVS #2370, on Derry Street at 10:45am to get checked in and surprise, I'm not on the list. The young lady checking people in sent me to the pharmacy to double check with them. I went to the pharmacy and was helped by a man named Justin. I handed him my ID and he checked the system, his response, "yeah it looks like it didn't process". Handed me my id back and kept working. No apology, no attempt to get me on the list, no empathy whatsoever. I'm 54 years old and diabetic. I went back to front and asked the young lady if she could add me, her reply, "I'm just a contractor". My first line of communication was to call the CVS complaint line...it doesn't work. So I filed this exact copy to their corporate team, I'm not holding my breath there either. So what I see is a company with broken systems and employees that don't care about THE BIGGEST HEALTH ISSUE OF OUR GENERATION. I have usually been treated poorly by CVS employees which is why I use a local pharmacy over an hour away. This one was enough to make me write this review. Don't use CVS folks, the only thing they are about is getting your extracare number.
