I don't really shop here but I do my Amazon returns here. I knew I needed an eyebrow pencil, so when I returned my stuff I used the Sephora coupon to stock up on a few items. There is a Sephora in this Kohl's location, so it can be a one stop shop. The staff is nice but it honestly it could be overwhelming when it is busy. Not that the staff is overwhelming but people love their Kohl's and can be passionate about their Kohl's cash. I always try to go when I feel like it will be less crowded. read more

I stopped in today to do an Amazon return. This rude old woman with short dray hair was processing returns. I would've described her better but there's no need to when she met me with such disdain for no reason other than being a miserable human being. I told her I had a few returns and she responded "Well, I can see that." That was completely unnecessary. Because she was so busy being a nasty jerk, she got the returns mixed up and wanted me to help her. Absolutely not.. I'm not a kohls employee. I reported her behavior to the store manager, Dawn, who couldn't wait to end the call. Kohl's please invest in some customer service training for your employees because I will not deal with this type of behavior again. If the woman you had processing returns today isn't capable of conducting herself in a professional manner, then you place her in a position where she doesn't have to interact with people. read more

I bought things on black friday. I was forced to check myself out. Then I didn't get any Kohls Cadh eventhough I spent over $150. This is the third time this has happened. I give up. I will shop at Boscovs from now on. You just lost a customer - with a credit card no less. read more

I purchased a set of utensils last Black Friday, it's now April the following year, which had a matte black finish and were packaged as DISHWASHER SAFE. I can confirm, they are NOT dishwasher safe and the finish washes off very easily. I've been wanting to bring these back since they got ugly being so Mis-colored that so finally did it. I had a picture of my receipt and the 16 loose utensils that I purchased and took them to Customer Service. Rachel was empathetic and allowed me to pick any replacement for the same retail value! I ended up choosing the same as my original purchase, which is seen in the picture, but it was a breath of fresh air knowing Kohl's stands behind what they sell and make the situations right when the product was not as advertised. Awful this secret shopper flunks this store on every aspect.At 6:10 am entering the store no one at there register.Picked an item that didn't have a tag and getting a manager to answer a walkie call was met with moans,gripes and trying to get someone else to do her job. I'm not a big fan of Kohl's - but if you're in the mood to look around you can find some amazing deals. Most of the stuff is overpriced - Macy's prices for non-Macy's labels. I know there's this unspoken stipulation about Kohl's, but this place has great deals for some good items. With their newer lines (Vera, Conrad, etc) I feel that the quality of clothes and goods have been getting a lot better since they started. I gave an extra star for their customer service. From my experience, their cashiers are nice, and welcome you with a smile and friendly hello if they aren't servicing anyone. I appreciate their care to customer needs, and find their positively more welcoming than other department stores. read more

I've always liked this Kohl's. It's clean. The staff are decently helpful. The racks and shelves are well stocked and well kept. And you can usually find some sort of sale to fit your needs. I'm still more of a TJMaxxionisto, but this Kohl's is solid :-) read more

Why does Kohl's not have accurate assistance for disabled/handicap/physically challenged people?? They moved their Amazon return service to the back of the store to force people to walk thru in hopes of them shopping. I have physical damage from being hit by an 18-wheeler but am able to walk short distances with a cane. To get around stores, I seek out motorized assistance. Lady at the front called Amazon return desk then, told me person is coming to assist me to the back. Female came with nothing and only walked with me. I am big and tall with very limited walking abilities so I asked about a cart, she said they have a manual wheelchair but, did not provide it, said they could not bring the scan gun to the front as it would take away from other customers in line, nor would I be allowed to be serviced in front of anyone else in line. Finally got to the back of the store and there were NO OTHER customers. The female that walked with me, immediately walked away. This incident has completely reinforced why I will NEVER shop at Kohl's nor, purchase anything else from Amazon that I cannot return in regular mail. SHAME ON YOU KOHL's for not being completely handicap compliant!!!!! read more

This NOT for the Harrisburg Kohls store. This is for an online order from Kohls. I ordered a 3-inch and 4-inch memory foam mattress topper. The boxes delivered as normal. The Kohls invoice was on the outside of the box and inside the box was the mattress topper. Also inside the box was an OVERSTOCK.com slip indicating it was purchased there. I was confused as I knew I ordered mattress toppers and I know for a fact they were from Kohls. However, the overstock.com slip was in there. I sent a message to Kohls online customer services about it and asked why there was an Overstock.com slip and I got no reply from Kohls. I have no idea they have a connection or partnership. I look up Overstock.com and found the exact mattress toppers for less and free shipping. I've been a loyal Kohls customer for many years. I've spent a lot of money on everything in their store. I was very dissapointed to see they sold an item they bought from another company?? and sold it to me for more. Word of advice... research and shop around before buying from Kohls and look for a better deal. I was never a Overstock.com customer but thanks to Kohls, they directed me to them and I will now always check Overstock.com first for bedding and home items. read more

NOT A REVIEW OF THIS PARTICULAR STORE! My problem is with Kohls.com but I couldn't find a way to review the online store. Here it is: KOHL'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST. I have never done this before, but this time takes the cake and I have to vent.Having just purchased a new house I am in need of new items such as towels and bathrugs to use in it. So I ordered a bunch of stuff from Kohl's and got an amazing deal with coupons, free shipping, etc. Nothing that anybody else couldn't use, nothing special, just their usual sale prices and discount codes. Being that we are still living in the apartment, I used that as my shipping address since things were supposed to be shipped by either UPS or FedEX so the change of address that I put in at the post office (takes 2 weeks to go into effect) shouldn't have been an issue. Well, both UPS and FedEX transferred all 5 packages in my order to the postal service. Now 3 of the 5 that have arrived at the new post office are being held ransom for postage due, and the other 2 are on their way to the Etown post office, and I'm sure that they, too, will have postage due. I called Kohl's customer service, got disconnected by a supervisor after 40 minutes on the phone, called back 2 hours later and spent an hour and a half on the phone, only to be told that the postage wasn't charged by them, SO I'M RESPONSIBLE FOR IT!!!!!!!!! After spending quite some time explaining how ridiculous that was, without yelling or cursing, I managed to get a credit for the amount of postage due to my charge account, but they refused to give me anything else in a discount for my inconvenience. Apparently the manager I was speaking to had no way to get in touch with her boss at all except in the either monthly, weekly, or quarterly conference calls (they happen whenever he has time for them). She did offer me my choice of free shipping on my next online purchase, OR 30% off my next online purchase, OR 200 points on my Yes2You Rewards account, which is equivalent to $10. After so much time I just took the $10 because I can easily get coupon codes for the other offers, but considering this means three and a half hours of my life on the phone, and multiple trips to the post office you would think they could have done a little more. It saddens me that a store that was my "go to" place for a lot of things has so little respect for their customers. Fortunately there are new stores here that I can try that I didn't have acccess to in NY because Kohl's is no longer one of my favorites. Thank you for letting me vent! read more

As much as I hate shopping at stores like this, Kohls is the only one of its kind that I enjoy. They have cool stuff. Great t shirts, shoes, excellent clearance (you know you like clearance), etc. The staff believes in their store, which is very cool. They seem to be a fan of Kohls! And my Wife loves it because she often "saves more than she spent", whatever the heck that is supposed to mean, lol. The store is clean, positive, and well stocked. A+. read more

Yesterday I had the task of taking my high school age son to look for semi-formal wear for his sophomore homecoming dance. He's been fighting me tooth an nail about wasting time shopping for dress clothes when he would rather be hanging out with his friends. Yesterday was the same song and dance, and upon almost insisting he join me, we made the decision to go to Kohl's. When entering the store I told him what I thought we should do. Immediately we headed towards the mens clothing section, however there was a long 'shelf stock' cart in the isle we were walking through. The manager Cathy was telling one of her co-workers what she would like her to do with the clothing on the 'stock cart' when they looked at us and asked if there was something they could help us with. I immediately spoke up telling them that we were looking for semi-formal wear for my sons homecoming dance. The next thing I know, both ladies are walking through mens wear pulling pants, shirt and tie together for the color coordinated ensemble we were looking for. Cathy kept up with us, asking if we needed a belt for him and socks and shoes. She even went to the extent of looking for size 11.5 dress shoes in their stock room, not once but twice. I have never had such a pleasurable experience as I had yesterday. I am here updating my previous review to sing Cathy's praises and to share how wonderful and painless our experience was yesterday. The most important part of the shopping trip was that Cathy looked for deep sale items. She saved us $157.00 on our order and even had the cashier give us a 20% promotional discount. Before we left I asked Cathy if we could possibly speak to the manager Dawn Lohr. Dawn was delighted to hear how much we appreciated Cathy and the fact that she walked us through this experience with such ease, helping us make decisions every step of the way and trying to get us the best bang for our buck. We LOVED this trip and will be back shortly looking for winter clothing for both of the boys. read more
