I found the children's clothing to be a bit disorganized in terms of finding various clothing sizes. Also, some of the name brands for children's clothing were lacking in certain areas. Overall it's a decent store with plenty of inventory in its other sections but I would not go out of my way to come here.

Lady Matilda and I come to the market for our meats and spices, grab a soft pretzel or three from the Amish kiosk, and see what the Bookworm has to surprise us. It's a friendly shop where they remember you and your tastes. I've converted a lot of clients and friends in the area who were quick to dismiss it as just another dirt-mall book dump. Absolutely not. The store carries the professionalism of classic independent booksellers with the fun of a friendly mom-and-pop store. Take a break from the busy market on your next visit.

This little gem of a used bookstore can be found inside the delightful West Shore Farmer's Market…read more You might think at first that there isn't much to see, but when approaching the store inside the market, you come to discover that what exists in the hallway is only the outside of the Bookworm Bookstore. There's so much to see inside, with all kinds of book genres all well-organized and easy to search. The staff was incredibly friendly and approached me twice to ask if there was something they could help me find. They knew where everything was and knew sometimes even before they'd look what was on the shelves and what wasn't (or what just sold a couple of days/weeks ago). Very insightful and their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for the used book lover!

I must say even though I had heard such great things I was still pleasantly surprised. Besides the Broad street market I haven't really visited any other businesses in the Midtown area of the city. After my visit I must say I will not only be back to Urban Snob but I look forward to checking out other local businesses. Urban Snob is not only a store but an experience. If I had to describe the vibe of the store I would compare it to Carrie from "Sex in the city" or "The Kardashians" meets "Basketball Wives" or "Love & Hip-Hop" in a boutique. I actually thought they were closed from the death stares. Not only did Lesla offer no help, she was downright nasty when asked a question. I have never experienced this level of poor customer service in a five & dime store, let alone a higher end shoe store. Love the shoes, but I refuse to patronize a company that employees such hatred, and allows it to continue.

One colleague seemed quite proud that they were a 'shoe store' implying expertise and great service yet when my sister explained she needed a specific narrow width in shoes the associate continued to show her shoes that 'run narrow' rather than really addressing her needs. They do have some nice brands and styles - their sale room has some great finds. It's a shame they are rude and willing to say anything to make a sale. Found a great pair of sandals and when they brought the mate it out it has obviously been worn and returned to the store - when I pointed it out the associate argued with me insisting they would never do such a thing despite the dirty soles and obvious signs of wear. My sister and I had been in a few times before without making a purchase - this was rudely referred to during our visit. We were told something about finally deciding to commit........really? If this is the best Central PA has to offer I terms of higher end shopping and service I'll pass. This happened at Susquehanna Shoppes location - it reminded me why I stopped shopping at their other location years ago.
