The Walmart Supercenter on Yarborough exit 28B is really conveniently located with ample parking. It offers a wide selection, including some cool Asian foods, which is a nice plus. It was not very crowded on Tuesday at lunchtime, making for it a quick in-and-out visit. This surprised me as I am not a usual-frequent shopper at Walmart. Twas the night before Christmas eve, when my family decided that it was time to purchase all the ingredients for our Christmas dinner. Since I refused to step on any store during the holiday season, I decided to take it upon myself to fix this problem and place a curbside order. It was my first time using the Walmart app, but it was very similar to the ordering process of other stores. In a matter of minutes was able to find all the ingredients that we needed and placed my curbside order. The pick-up location is located on the right hand side of the store. They also have large arrows through the parking lot which direct you to the curbside section. I swear we were just parked for no less than a minute and someone was already at our car with our order. The staff was very kind and even let me know about a couple items that were out of stock. read more

This Walmart was packed like pretty much any Walmart you go to on a weekend day. If I can stay up, I prefer going at night to fight the crowds. The early mornings are OK too. Most stores can't beat Walmart's prices so I get it. Me and my son picked up some everyday items like toothpaste, soap, groceries, etc. The day we went was extra special because it was Barbie's 60th birthday. They were giving away free cupcakes and goodies for the occasion. I LOVE free stuff and coupons! I don't see who wouldn't. I forgot to mention, we also went because I had coupons for toothpaste and other things. My son ate the cupcake like in 2 or 3 gulps so no photos there. He's a growing boy, what can I say? He took the free stuff away from me too! I'll have to look for it. What's also cool about Walmart these days is...they give you a free sample if you use their app while you're shopping there. There's a machine that dispenses the item when you use the Walmart app. You just have to scan the barcode on their machine with your app. We got a free sample of fabric softener. They want you to buy their product but you don't have to. It's there if you want to buy it. Another time we went, we got a free Glade Plug-in. The free sample changes often. They have a good selection of plants and flowers, especially right now since it's springtime. I'm also a fan of their sugarfree sparkling water. I think the apple flavor is the best one, which reminds me...I need to stock up on some more. I don't mind this Walmart or a couple of others. There is something for everyone here. read more

Even though this is the Wal-Mart closest to where I live, its not the one I like to go to. While all Wal-Marts are the same to the untrained eye, I can spot a good Wal-Mart from a mediocre one in an instant! And this is a mediocre one. My grievances are hard to describe, but I'll try. The grocery section seems lacking, especially in the turkey legs and brats department. The electronics section is always jam-packed with looky loos. The mensBut the worst offender is the Pharmacy, where there is always, and I mean ALWAYS a line that's going to suck 20-30 minutes of your time. I'm not kidding, the line is so f'n long they put a bench just outside the department where the line ends, A BENCH! In fact, this place's only redeeming quality is the hair stylist place, which is quick, cheap, and totally decent. This place does have the standard Wal-Mart Supercenter features: Groceries, Pharmacy, Stylist, Eye-care, McDonalds, and a giant garden center, so if you don't care, go for it! read more

I was just passing through town and needed some allergy medication, this was the place I stopped! This is bigger than the Walmart I am used to seeing and I didn't have a chance to explore a ton, but it seemed mediocre at best. The staff was not at all friendly or helpful, even when I was being courteous. The selection is fine... normal for a Walmart. Overall, I am reminded of why I don't go to Walmart at home and now that I have the allergy medication I need, I will likely not be stopping at any for a long time. I don't think I will be back, however if you're just passing through and need something really fast... it may be your best bet. read more

On April 8, 2019 I had a very pleasant experience in my search for several items at Walmart! A Walmart employee, Michael Torentino, approached me as I was searching various aisles for products to purchase, and whom I learned through our conversation, is a manager at Walmart! Though he seemed to be very busy, he noticed that I was having difficulty finding merchandise, and took the initiative to guide me to three separate departments that I had been searching for, while making sure that I was satisfied with my purchases! Mr. Tolentino's personal service brought back pleasant memories of what service used to be decades ago! His professionalism and EXCELLENT customer service is very much appreciated! All walmart stores in el paso, suck. Nothing is ever labeled properly and if you are on WiC, forget it. Everything that IS labeled for WiC, hardly ever goes through without fighting tooth and nail. Walmart is Walmart.. This one in particular is probably my least favorite location to come to though it is the closest to my apartment. I only come here if I absolutely need something last minute. It's always busy, starting from the early hours of the morning and they never have enough registers opened to accommodate all the customers at the peak hours. (After everyone gets out of work.) You can find a lot of products that have been opened or missing from their packages, though it has come a long way as far as organization and flow goes. read more

I called to order a cake and first, the lady taking the order does not speak any English...why is she even answering? Second when I order 48 cupcakes cake she tells me it can't be done. No explanation. I ask to speak to a manager and she tells me a manager will be right there. WAITED 10 MINUTES. I hang up call back and speak to Corrina, who tries to help me but ends up disconnecting the call. I call back and yep get hung up on again. I have been to many Walmart's in different states, but this one has the friendliest and most helpful employees. Everyone had a smile on their faces, and answered our questions very politely.
