Typical grocery store. But I particularly like Albertsons. They have everything you want, everything you need, and then stuff you'd never care about but end up buying anyways because you see it. They have a pharmacy and other odd and ends not just related to food. Full alcohol section. Even a Starbucks inside to get your basic pumpkin spice nonsense. Full deli, and bakery, where you can get your cuts of meat or a customer ordered cake. And they often have really good sales on meat, and even a special discount for military on meat and cuts of meats on Tuesdays. It's kinda cool actually. Otherwise it's just a grocery store. This one happens to be very close to my house, so when i need stuff in a pinch or don't have time to hit up the one on base, I stop by here. In fact, if I do hit the one on base and they are out of something, chances are I can find ghat item here, and be on my way. read more

Albertsons' installed more self checkouts to what seems to be the same amount of space and it is awful. Carts cannot fit and people are running into each. Worse than I10 at rush hour. Such a bad idea to add more self checkouts. No help at all. Terrible read more

The deli department , i put an order for baked mango chicken I told the sales lady, i will pick it up tomorrow at 10 am which will be Thursday , when I showed up on thursday 10 am she said we put an order Friday and me and my sister both we were sure it was said tomorrow no one mentioned Thursday!! then sales lady said we have Backed mango chicken , so she wrapped that to us with tiny chicken wings , and when e were home it was not backed mango chicken was regular , this is second time I have bad experience with deli department at this store . the older lady who was working self checkout on 12/26/2022 at 10:02 p.m. was extremely rude regarding prices that needed to be adjusted. she attempted to reject doing so, even after I had contacted Albertson's customer service center. Spoke to a very nice agent named Wendee on the app who verified adjusting prices from the app is valid. The employee in the store said this was the very only time she approved it after being very rude about it. we literally asked nicely and we get it, customer service isn't the easiest; but we didn't ask in any demanding way. I ordered a cane when I was doing my online grocery shopping. In error, I accidentally ordered two different canes. I called on 12/11/24 to get credit for the one cane. I called the online shopping and gave them the order number for both canes. They could not find the order whatsoever. I spoke with Jose, who I believe was a manager in online orders. He was very slow on the intake. I had to spell my last name & repeat it 5 times. He researched it and called me back later that day & said he still couldn't find the order. He said he was going to have his boss call me the next day. It never happened! I ended up receiving two canes & tried desperately to stop this from happening. I ended up in the hospital, so I finally went to return the second cane at UPS. I was under the impression from the company that they were going to pay for shipping. Well, that was not the case. When I got there they were going to charge me $50 to return the cane & the cane only cost $50!! I am so extremely disappointed with the service I received from Albertson's. You are my go to store for my groceries and pharmacy. I am beginning to question that decision. I have been very ill & didn't need this added to my life! Nobody helped me & now I am filing a dispute with my bank! read more

Great store! I have two other albertson that are closer to my house than this one, but I ONLY go to this one. This place is worth the longer drive. *more organic veggies and fruits than other albertson. (At least on the east side. Never been to ones on the west side.) *much cleaner than other albertson. *everyone's extremely nice and friendly. *buy one get one free meats are AWESOME! *you can get 10% off military discount on the first Saturday of every month! Newly renovated areas, new salad bar, new chillers with delicious drinks you can easily grab, new organic section, additional vegan products, new Raw Instincts section for their pet food, and probably the most important of all.... A NEWLY BUILT STARBUCKS IN HOUSE!!!! my friendly neighborhood Albertsons has officially became my favorite hangout spot!!! Lol its has 2 of my favorite hobbys... Coffee and shopping!!! I feel like the lines have become more atrocious due to the fact that there is so much more to the store. But their lanes have been better managed by opening up more it seems. The one and only Albertsons here in the northeast! They are the best, I'm always here! They truly make it personal experience! I love how friendly and welcoming everyone is, in every department. They have such a wide selection on plant based items which is a plus! Whenever I fill out a request to bring items in I always end up seeing it and get excited lol so I'm happy when we fill out forms. We are being heard and accommodated for! I'm a coffee and tea person so I'm always at their Starbucks as well! I was so happy when they built one and the staff there are great! We adore Jetta, Christian, job and Juan! We always get greeted by lily who works at customer service as well. My babies all know them by name and they always ask about the family! Which a great truly a family grocery store! read more

But, goodness the pharmacy staff are rude, slow, and unreliable, say they put in a refill request and don't, lie, I asked them to update my information since I just moved here and the guy took all my information and when I picked up my meds 2 days after he said he'd do it, it had all my old information. This time they just let me sit in the drive thru and still had my name wrong, and didnt offer to correct it. Didnt even make sure it was really me, since my ID has a different name! I love coming here for my groceries as they are always fresh and the service is always outstanding! The store is always clean, shelves are always stocked and not too crowded! I've noticed that when I buy my groceries here, the veggies last longer than at other stores! If you check their ads and come early when the sales start, you can always find cuts of meats on clearance! To preserve those meats, you can use them right away or split them up in zip lock bags and freeze them til you're ready to use it! read more

I moved here and was forced to accept the fact that there are no HEB grocery stores here. However, Albertsons has completely replaced my need for amazing produce, good meat, and convenient shopping. The store is going through reorganization and renovation, but their store is spic and span - clean! While everything is not in it's correct labeled place, there are always workers to be found and I can ask where the item is located. I have found every worker to be so kind, and a checker actually told me about a buy one get three deal on the pork loin. I had just picked up one, and she mentioned it and scanned in three for me. After the transaction, I went back and got two more! She saved me a lot of money! To me, that's the above and beyond service that means a lot to a customer! I come to visit family about twice a year here in El Paso and this Albertsons is our one-stop shop for any grocery needs we have. Their wings at the wing bar are always incredibly fresh (the salt and vinegar ones are my favorite). Sunday, 12/29, Erica that works in the deli was so gracious in freshly preparing my family and I multiple pounds of the salt and vinegar and the zesty wings even though we called somewhat late in to the evening. I absolutely love this store. The prices are great, and they even give military discount on the first Saturday of each month. I don't know any grocery that does that. A lot of promotions that go on, and great service all the way around. Every time my father comes in from Kentucky, he has to go there. The store is very clean, and the exterior of the building is always well kept up. I hate Wally World with a passion. It is always crowded, often dirty, and the people are always rude, but they always have low prices... Always. Regardless, I would much rather go to Albertson's. This place does get customers, but feels no where near as jam packed. They keep the store nice and clean. Everyone is typically pleasant there, that includes both the workers and the shoppers. Hell, more likely than not, you even find shopping carts where they are suppose to be, not hiding in the middle of the road. Because of these things, I ignore the higher price of goods and shop here instead. There are a few things I still go to get at Wal-Mart because they are that much cheaper, but those are run in, run out and avoid all contact. read more

Love this store! Very in tune with the neighborhood. Friendly staff, very clean, nice produce! Gotta love the seafood prices. Kinda heh about the meat prices though. They have the "buy 1 get 2 free" specials for meats a lot though. ( But I am lucky I can still go to commissary :) Anyways, i really appreciate that the cashiers are pretty much stable fixtures. I know most of them by name, and they know me and my family as well. They have some really healthy seasonal plants, and they have indoor plants all the time as well. Also some pretty cute barbecue grills and ooutdoor furniture. Considering that this isn't as sprawling on the one on Dyer St, they have a lot of stuff, and it's well organized and bright inside. And the deli is not too shabby. if you really can't figure out what to make for dinner, or need a break, they have so many things in the deli! My family loves the fried chicken and there are weekly specials on it. Best times to go, for some reason, before 12 and after 2 but before 4. not that helpful I know, but those are little " not-so-busy" windows :) oh yes, they also carry American Spirit cigarettes. Store is the cleanest Albertsons that I have visited in this area and the staff is nice. It was not very busy, which is always nice. However, when I visited the store there were many items that were out of stock/had yet to be replenished (there were a few pallets of things with boxes still on them, but we're not being stocked). The store shelves also could have benefited from a "zoning", as we used to call it when I worked in the grocery store business. Overall, this store isn't terrible but isn't the nicest grocery store I've been a patron at. read more

Around 1:30 pm, checkout six, two employees were taking forever with a customer on discharging a bunch of Gatorades because she couldn't afford them. The next thing I know, the employees were charging because the customer changed her mind for the last minutes. I waited no less than thirty minutes in line because the customer couldn't decide whether or not she would buy those lost Gatorades. When it's finally my turn, I thought it was a good idea to bring my own shopping bags so I won't bring home any more plastic bags. The employee then told me, "If you bring your own shopping bags, then you have to bag your items yourself." That's unfair for the customers!! So when I bag my own items, the employee started to shove everything like she's in a hurry. I told her to slow down, but she was like, "I'm not rushing, sir." YES, SHE WAS!!! I didn't want to argue and report to management like a Karen, so I quickly bag all my items, "BY MYSELF," and pay for everything. What's the point of having a second employee whose job was to bag everything for the customer!?! My Aunt works at Albertson, and I'll refer to this review to her, and she'll rant those two employees on checkout six! This is what I call "A LACK OF SUPERVISION!!!" It looks like I'll be shopping at Wal-Mart forever. read more
