I then asked if they had the option to marinate it, they told me it was a charge of $2.50 so I declined, then the young lady told me they'd do it for free (most meat stores do that) so I accepted... well the such marinating was any thing but free, they poured it on the meat in the plastic bag and re-weighed it, so, the total weight went from under 6 pounds to 7.55 pounds, so, they sticked me with almost two extra pounds of this liquid at the same cost of the meat... See the math: 5.8 lbs @ $4.99 = $28.94 (what I would have paid without the "free marinating" 7.55 lbs @ $4.99 = $37.67 after they poured the "marinate" Total up charge for the "free" marinate: $8.73 Yelp asks the public to be kind with business as they are struggling... well, they should realize their customers are as well, so they should be honest and fair as well.

They kept taunting me and deleting my comments. He posted a sign about bags and posted that on TikTok, then also posted something stating "if you don't know how to handle live seafood, don't buy it". I have lived on the coast for a large part of my life and I'm very familiar with handling seafood. This is incredibly childish and unprofessional. The Korean dumplings are outstanding, especially the glass noodle dumplings, which are among my favorites. They also offer delicious japchae, kimchi jjigae, and many other ready-to-enjoy Korean specialties. The store recently came under new management, so unfortunately the 10% military discount is no longer available. Some imported items are definitely on the expensive side, but that is to be expected with specialty products shipped from overseas. Overall, I still find the pricing to be fair, particularly considering the quality, authenticity, and selection. What truly keeps me coming back is the customer service. Marianna and Beth are always welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They take the time to answer questions, recommend products, and make every visit enjoyable. Heavy on Korean options, but they also have some Japanese, Indonesian and other offerings. There are tea and snack sections too. And a good rice selection - multiple varieties of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and more. Service is always quick and efficient. The store is very clean and I feel confident and safe buying my food there.

I walked by the hot foods area and I did see a bunch of flies flying around the food, yuck. They have everything you would find at a big chained grocery store but for less of a price. We bought a package of chicken breast for $3, so that was pretty good. The cashier was friendly.
