I want to make the public aware of the unacceptable and distressing experience I have had with Walmart. On 12/11/2025, I placed a grocery order totaling approximately $100, scheduled for delivery on 12/12/2025. That delivery never occurred. Instead, I received multiple delay notifications offering the option to reschedule or cancel. I chose to reschedule for 12/13 with a delivery window of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Once again, the delivery did not happen. After receiving yet another delay notification, I chose to cancel the order. As of 9:04 p.m. on 12/13, I have neither received my groceries nor received a refund. Over the past two days, I have contacted Walmart customer service more than six times, spending over an hour on each call--more than six hours total. Before reaching a live agent, customers are forced to navigate an AI system, often requiring repeated attempts just to speak with a real person. When I finally reached representatives, I was transferred to agents overseas and spoke with two individuals who claimed to be managers but had no authority to resolve the issue. Despite Walmart failing to deliver my order and still holding my money, the only compensation offered was a $15 coupon for a future order. This is unacceptable--especially given that Walmart's failure has denied my family access to food we needed. I was ultimately told that due to a "glitch" in Walmart's system, the order could neither be delivered nor refunded until a backend email is processed, which could take 24-48 hours. Walmart has had my funds since Thursday. When I explained that this delay meant I could not feed my family, all I received were scripted apologies and claims of understanding. No real understanding was demonstrated. In today's economy, every dollar matters, and Walmart's system failure has directly impacted my family's ability to meet basic needs. Attempting to contact corporate has been equally frustrating, as Walmart makes it extremely difficult to locate a direct phone number or reach anyone with real authority. This lack of accessibility shows a complete disregard for customers' time and well-being. I am furious, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. No customer should ever have to endure this level of incompetence, indifference, and lack of accountability--especially from a company of Walmart's size and resources. I will be sharing this experience across social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram, to ensure others are aware. I went to the online pickup for my order and noticed it was busy so I expected like maybe 15 minute wait but no I had to wait 40 MINUTES! And I ask the associate that was loading my car why did it take so long for my order she looked and said "We busy" and walked away. Beware unethical practices...in July 2025 my mother was in an accident in the store where another 94 yr old struck her with a motorized shopping cart scooter and it threw her to the ground, my mom is 82 yrs old...she would do most of her grocery shopping @ this location in crestwood since it's close to her home, the woman that struck my mother reported to my husband and other witnesses that the scooter was malfunctioning and that's why she struck my mom! She could not stop the scooter...My mom was taken to palos hospital and treated there for a fractured t12 injury...she received over 10k in hospital bills! I spoke to Theresa Bailey in the claims department and she was really rude and denied Walmart negligence...she told me to have Medicare advantage pay her bills and could help with that...how ridiculous! she also compared my mothers incident with "well if you got hit by someone pushing a shopping cart would Walmart be @ fault?"I explained to ms Bailey (a wanna be attorney) the scenario she provided me with was not the same situation because the scooter that hit my mom was a mechanical one and they hardly maintained them properly...I know Walmart was at fault to the scooter malfunctioning they hardly worked properly...ms Bailey belittled me and never once asked how my mom was! 1. Bad customer service. Workers need to help out customers when we need something. 2. Prices are average. I prefer Aldi for food and going to a fleamarket or target for other things, even Dollar tree, Ross or Marshalls. 3. I do not know if I was accused of being a thief or what. First the positive: this Walmart is large and generally has what I need. The negative: I have gone in to the customer service area- to return things about 4 times after 8pm, and each time they have said the customer service area closed early. A few times they said they were understaffed so they closed early. One time, they said they closed at 9:30 and then said wait, what time is it, to which I replied 9:05 and she said, it closed at 9. I've tried calling ahead of time to see if the customer service area is open, and I've never had someone answer the phone. I truly don't understand this. Tonight, I went in to check that there was someone working it and there was a woman- who I believe was a manager in the customer service area- explaining to a customer why they couldn't process a return by scanning the credit card. So I went out to my car and returned with my item to return only to be told that she closed it at 10. I said, I was literally right here, saw you behind the counter trying to help someone, so I went out to my car to get my item and bring it back. She said I was helping because we are understaffed, but it's closed. So, I proceeded to return my item to my car and then go back inside to make my other purchases. On my way out, there was a staff member at the door turning people away, saying they closed early. I get that it was difficult earlier in the pandemic to have normal business hours, but if you can't staff your store properly now, then don't say you have regular business hours when you actually don't. Crestwood Illinois Location is not putting 6-Packs of Snapple Apple out for sale. Employees are opening them & selling them individually which cost 60 cents more per bottle. I can NEVER find 6-packs available at this location. They don't do this with any other Snapple flavors. They are price gouging customers when they do this. A 6-pack is $5.26 ea. Excellent service! I placed my order online, picked it up curbside the next day and everything was packed perfectly! I went to the app to comment on the exceptional service but unfortunately you cannot rate on it. The employee who loaded the car was very nice. I'm not sure who packaged my $200+ groceries but they did a perfect job. They double bagged the heavier items. Each bag was filled perfectly for my pantry/fridge/freezer setup. I shopped at this location today and was very pleased with my experience. I couldn't locate the item that I had gone to purchase and stopped an associate that was walking by. He quickly took me to the item. It was a Sunbeam heated throw for $29.98 which is an awesome price. They were well stocked with a great selection of colors which surprised me with it being the middle of the Christmas buying season. When I went to check out, there was only one person ahead of me so it was quickly purchased. After reading all the bad reviews this store received, I had to add my great experience. read more

I called the store to ask them to tag the order and call the police (I filed a police report) when the person arrives to pick up the order. I used to dread going to this Walmart, but they've definitely improved over the last few months. I went in the store to shop a couple of times within the past few months, and the shelves were neatly stocked and the employees were all super polite and helpful. Then today, I decided to try grocery pick up again after about a year of giving up on them. The majority of my large order was in stock, and they brought it out pretty quickly with how busy the pick up area was. I waited maybe 5-10 minutes tops. The man that loaded my groceries was very polite and even brought my bread items up to the front without me having to ask. I was missing one item, but it's definitely not a big deal considering how big my order was and how terrible their grocery pick up used to be. Glad I decided to give them another shot. read more

I had my email on my phone and had recently moved and got married thus my last name and address were different then what was on my e-receipt. My review is specifically about the pharmacy at this Walmart. I want to warn people because after what we experienced here, I was appalled and will never go back. My doctors office sent my prescription late on Thursday. I asked my partner to pick up for me on Friday. He gets there and they don't have anything. So they call my doctors office to ask them to resend. The pharmacist tells him that my doctor is gone for the weekend so they won't get another script until Tuesday. So they offer to give him a small dose to get me through the weekend and she gives him a couple of pills. He looks and they seemed like the wrong dose and calls me. I was furious that they would mess up a dosage. IT COULD ADVERSELY AFFECT MY MEDICAL CONDITION! So I call my doctors office to straighten this out. They never got a call from the pharmacy. So they resend my prescriptions to the pharmacy about 3pm. He waits for them to fill it. Over an hour goes by and they keep telling him it'll be five more minutes. All this time, he's sending me pictures of the empty waiting area. There are no customers! In the past, I've asked the pharmacist questions about my medication and she pretends to not know anything about them. She will just say, I don't know or everyone is different. Do not go here for your medications! If you need to, make sure your prescriptions arrive before you drive here and make sure that the dosage actually matches what your doctor wants you to take. This is so important!!! The pharmacy here is not careful and this can be really dangerous! read more

Not only are most Walmarts vast expanses of American crap, both in content and context, but they are also a company whose very pressence on our planet I find to be depressing. What Walmarts do to small business is what we do to ants as kids. Destruction and oppression. Most Walmarts to me in very principle are one star ratings by default. But this Walmart did have some interesting things going on with their lighting, and as someone who works in commercial lighting I appreciated it from a conservation aspect. In essence they used natural light from skylights, in combination with 2-lamp T8 dimmable strip lights to reduce their energy usage during the daylight hours. I'm sure Walmart cares more about saving money than they do the environment. But at least if all of these obese retail behemoths start adopting practices like this the impact will be huge. I went to this Wal-Mart in july 31, 2019. Was purchasing a t.v., during middle of transaction, the power went out. That's where the so called manager Tasha comes in. After better then a hour and me calling my credit card company to verify transaction went through, she is the rudest most unprofessional I've dealt with. My credit card company confirmed the transaction and she with her arrogant attitude claims it wasn't in their system. She was rude and obnoxious and shouldn't be in a management position.. I left without receipt and t.v., contacted my credit card company and told them to charge back. I found a better t.v. $20.00 cheaper at best buy. I've said I will never go back to this location. I've said it over and over again. Today, I make my vow to you, mighty Yelp - Never again! Parking is a nightmare. Online order pickup is ridiculous. The entire area in 'customer service' is jammed with carts of cast-off merch, and we have to move around it while the 2 pokey pokey clerks stare at a receipt and ignore the growing line of customers. Forget asking a question, you are given a surly stare and dismissed. Stock is messy and nothing is in the right place so who knows what price that thing is.
