Not always the cleanest. Usually the floor is scattered and disorganized. I do like that they have the Amazon return and the Sephora at this location, which makes my life easier. The employees don't ever greet anyone anymore nor do they seem very friendly at the counters. The self checkouts are nice, they don't have anymore cashier stations, but it can be a little congested. Orland Pk Kohls...I entered the lower level entrance, no carts anywhere. It was about 80 degrees in there for starters, no help anywhere in sight to ask questions. I was with my friend and we decided to go here in Kohl's. This particular branch of Kohl's is smaller than the others in my observation. It is also not as clean and organized than the other branch because when we came inside the clothes are in some sort of chaos, the clothes are not properly arranged and some of the sizes of the particular items are not in the right hangers. We patiently looked around and see if we can buy something. The prices are a bit expensive and it is not surprising because Kohl's really sells expensive items even if it is just a typical Levi's or Lee. I chose two pieces of Lee jeans and after that everyone is done so we decided to go to the checkout. The two staff in there was not really nice in fact they are also rude. We saw them talking to each other when we came over to them and the looks in their eyes was not really good that it seems like we disturbed them in their talk. This is the slowest Kohl's by FAR! If you do an online pick up, be prepared to Wait! And not only wait, but wait while 5 associates flock together to get one pick up order! The online pick up only has one agent, so while we WAIT! the other agents stand there looking at you. (I feel like I'm an exhibit at the museum) so they WAIT until you arrive to go and gather your order, via yelling on phones your last name and what section your item(s) are in. Unorganized to say the least! And the one agent, LUCAS, is very rude!!! This is my 2nd complaint about him. read more

I realize every business is having a hard time finding employees, with that being said, Kohls in Crestwood, while fairly organized, the fitting rooms are flirty! There is papers/tags along with a amazing amount of dust and dirt on the floors. read more

I had the worse experience in the Crestwood, IL store. The ladies that work at the customer service desk are rude, angry, aggressive and racist!! Please do not shop in that particular store! Darlene aggressively slammed my exchanged product on the desk in my face. Then she aggressively told me that they were going to stop accepting exchanges on merchandise that has a manufacturers defect. Rose then came over and agreed with her, when I asked for a manager's name and aggressively told me to report her as well. This has been the worst shopping experience in my life. I truly felt that there was a lot of anger and racial tension. Please don't shop there period!! read more

The cashier, spent the whole time checking me out, ARGUING with me. I did not want a Kohl's Card. She asked at least, 4, more times, after I refused. If she is under pressure to meet a quota, it's not a good idea. I will NOT be going back. There are many other stores. Kohl's is not unique. read more

I used to be a huge fan of Kohl's, like most people, but since they stopped being so accommodating with allowing you to extend the deadline on Kohl's cash and some coupons, etc. they just turned into any regular department store so i no longer go out of my way to go there. A couple times this month, however, I just happened to be in the area so i stopped in. My problems with Kohl's are this: I am a yes2you member and when the screen to enter your phone number pops up, the cashier doesn't allow you time to enter it. They hit some button on the register and the screen disappears. It happens every time I've been there. The last time, the cashier told me i had to call customer service to get the credit... that's total crap and extremely inconvenient. Today's cashier, Asia (so she claimed) did the same thing. I tried to stop her but she just kept going. I told her to remove the items and rescan them so i can enter my number but she said it was "too late." I tried to explain to her what i wanted to do but she kept talking over me shouting "next customer" several times while I'm still in front if her. I asked her what her name was because she intentionally wears her name badge backwards like all the young ones do now and she told me her name but i didn't hear her because after she refused to give it to me, i started talking and she then told me but i didn't hear her so i asked her again and she said, "i already TOLD you my name! Next customer..." Because i wouldn't leave, she eventually retold me her name. I went to customer service to get my yes2you credit and asked to speak to the manager. I told him (Mike) what happened and he said he'd speak to his manager about Asia. I will be going back to Kohls a few more times simply to see if this girl, who should have NOTHING to do with customer service, still works there. If she does, I'll continue to file complaints until she either gets the appropriate training, holds a position NOT dealing with customers or is let go. read more

This Kohl's location is returning to the shelf for sale used & broken kitchen appliances. Toastmaster electric knife when brought home was obviously opened previously, used (could see smudges on the blade and handle) and broken blade attaching hardware. No paperwork inside box. How could they not see this...It was so obvious! Returning for refund and will shop at other Kohl's where the staff care more about their customer's shopping experience than their own bottom line through deception... read more

I shop at this location a lot. So much so that I got a Kohls credit card. I haven't had any issues up until Dec. of 2018. The customer service during the month go December was awful. Rude! Very rude. I was very nice and had questions not answered and met with anger. I decided to let it go. However two times this past week I went to order something claiming that it is in stock at this particular location, only to have to have my order or half my order canceled because the product really isn't there. Who does the inventory? That's a bit frustrating! I ordered 1 thing the first time so my whole order was canceled. My second order was partially canceled, and 30 seconds later saying I can pick up my product. My whole order depended on the item that was canceled. So I wanted to cancel the whole order and was told I couldn't. I called customer service and was told that I can just wait the 7 days and don't pick it up and then I won't be charged. Wow the sizes on shorts are really down to a couple. I guess I should have came earlier in the summer. The prices they have now on Haggar dress pants are $25 higher than they use to be with a buy on pair get another pair off. Sort of a bullshit sales scheme if you ask me. Besides me getting inside information that the associates are told to follow black people around (even though the people that work there that direct them to do this know darn well they don't make enough to shop there), today I had a bad experience when I was checking out. I walked over to the checkout line and made eye contact with a black lady with blue hair behind the register who made me walk all the way over to her register with an armful of clothes before telling me to go to another register. She was rude and I've never been treated like that at Kohls. I'm also triggered because I love the smurfs and ghetto smurf has tainted their image. Also, if management is reading this, don't think for one second that someone won't eventually come forward about your policy to follow black people. Once a whistleblower makes it public, you will all be unemployed and have to apply at Target or Walmart. Also please stop hiring all those old ladies. I love shopping at Kohl's, but the store in Crestwood gave a very bad representation to the company today. Shouldn't customers come before projects such as "putting up graphics"? Shouldn't any employee be able and willing to grab merchandise off of a mannequin to make the customer happy and spend more money? If not then alright but, I have been in this store since 2pm and it is now 3pm. I'm waiting for a woman to finish putting up graphics so she could grab me a $10 pair of shorts off of a mannequin.. It is now 3:14pm and the manager and visuals lady are both here with me checking the mannequin and it isn't even the size they said it might've been. I waited this long to be told I was wrong and they are both giving me the size I had in the first place. Visuals lady is very aggravated, huffing and puffing. Very bad customer service. read more

Well quite ambivalent with this store. And I shop there a LOT & spend good deal of money there (it's closest store to me of my liking). This is the thing. Yes, they offer nice refund policy (comes in handy when I almost NEVER have proper time to try on there). And THAT IS important & an overt asset. NO shopper would say otherwise! However, has their selection & quality gone DOWN the drain lately. Not their prices though...they continue to rise. So I'm entirely bewildered. Forget shopping there without SOME kind of coupon, which admittedly I do too often (meaning one SHOULD time it to shop only when having coupon deal from charge card...like the 10 to 30% off---which unfortunately is usually 10 for me always & not enough of a dent, doesn't even cover tax!!). BTW....NO way their selection of ladies jeans normally run $120 or higher---this is Kohl's & they are regular jeans (often Levi's, Lee, or what have you! Nothing outstanding!). So even with discounts, sad to report....they come in higher for SAME product elsewhere. NOT right. But worse...and for me this is the WORST....they must deliberately leave their "sales" and "clearance" racks an entire MESS. I Mean, complete disaster!! Apparently the workers there are BLIND to this clothes frenzy. Check it out sometime....this is what you will find: ALL the sizes are on wrong hangers (yeah,NO medium...though hangers say medium OR large with size 0 or 2 item on it) & the racks SO disheveled & OVER-stuffed, you can't LOOK at the clothes .You can't get an item OUT of there. Which HAS to be by design. I saw a "news report" on shopping where the pros were stating that is Not by happenstance (as for the "stores"....they blame the customers for it, let's be honest! BUT why wouldn't they FIX them then?) ---they illustrated how stores are notorious for leaving those racks in entire chaotic & frenzied fashion (so you can't FIND anything) so you basically kinda surrender & just shop on the other "ordered" racks. It's totally TO discourage you, make it impossible! I thought...yep, that's exactly IT!! There's NO way to stand there & weed thru the clearance racks with all the sizes being labeled wrong & such, prices missing & other deliberate confusion....like I see most frustrated others do....I just plain GIVE UP & maybe look elsewhere in the store. Well...you know what??? NOT OK!!! ...not Kohl's or anywhere else plotting such device to have us spend more. Because the smart consumer WILL work around that & go elsewhere. Like Amazon or another DECENT stores that keeps clearance racks in some kind of semblance of human order. And I gotta say, that's quite unfortunate (it's gone down hill) as it's a staple of my closet wardrobe. They need to work with their P.A. to NOT load store up with inferior (and overpriced) merchandise as one once used to find GREAT stuff at "end of season" sales----at afforable pricing. What I've learned is that is not much possible anymore; it's a lot of really ugly, defective & odd creations one is left digging through. What the heck!! WHY??? NO one in their right mind is going to buy that junk. Really. No one. Years ago, you never saw crap at Kohl's. NOT that I recall (inn such overwhelming abundance anyhow) I am NOT the only person to feel this way, I've talked to many once-loyal Kohl's shoppers equally dismayed & confused. OH...and FORGET holiday time...it's a madhouse with wrap-around lines worse than Great America!! For life of me, have NO idea why...they aren't giving things away!! AlI know is, all that said... I STILL go in there, hopeful & full of promise but sorta feel they gotta earn me back as I am spending LESS & less there ---too much competition for them to allow these issues to continue. I've only ever shoped at Kohl's 3 times and thus far I've had very wonderful experiences everyone was very helpful and very friendly until today. Today I went to store and everything seems to be going fine a wonderful associate helped me I wish I could remember her name but she was very pleasant and very friendly all I remember was that she was a pregnant young woman. Then when it came time for me to check out Beverly who rung me out was very rude and sarcastic and she made me feel like I was a bothering her. She did not greet me I had to walk over to her register and asked her if she was open and she replied that she guess she was open. she was not very knowledgeable about the products or services that Kohl's offered as far as their rewards. if you are ever ready to be checked out and Beverly is at the cash register or in the store just avoid her all together because she is very rude and very sarcastic and she will definitely embarrass you and make you feel like garbage. read more

Kohl's in Crestwood have the worst customer service...I hate how they handle the $10 bonus, they refuse to work with their customers when dissatisfied with how returns are processed! I returned an item and instead of getting $14.00 dollars I was told I would receive only $4.00...even after explaining I never received the $10.00 bonus, nor did I use it. I couldn't believe a company of this size would not make an exception to satisfied a customer of over 10 years, with a charge account.I even took it to their corporate office, who did not budge either.I'm done and never intend on shopping with this company again!! read more

I visted Kohl's Department Store in Crestwood this evening and sought to return/exchange a purchase I had made at the Tinley Park location; the cashier Teresa was apathetic at best;when I approached the service center she immediately said "what are we doing" instead of the standard greeting of "how can I help you"; I shared that I needed to make a return/exchange. Again she said what are we doing I said I'm not sure return or exchange what ever works best. Withhout even looking at me she returns the items with a curt thank you; I look at her and reply I would like to purchase these items; usually they process an exchange/credit and allow me to purchase the remaining items. I''m told by Teresa I've been here 5 years and we've never done it that way as she motions me to a checkout lane. Perplexed I ask "Can't I purchase the items here; she says well I asked you what were you doing I'll do it this time but next time go to the register. I'm amazed. As she begins ringing up the items I notice that she is not giving me credit for my 20% off; she replies that ended yesterday; I respond well why didn't you just exchange the items so that I'm not paying a higher price; she says that not what you asked for. I'm in shock I decline to purchase the items and leave the store; as I'm exiting the store I decide to return and ask to speak to a manager; I'm referred to "Pat" who is less of a service advocate that Teresa I begin to explain what happened while Teresa shakes her head and mumbles no . . . no; I look at Pat and ask her is that acceptable behavior she says well I was not here when it happened. "Pat"; I say "I'm not referring to my previous encounter I'm referring to what you just witnessed is this the way Kohl's wants it's customers to be treated" again she responds I did not see what happened. Needless to say I left the store without purchasing my replacement items and fully intend to speak with Mike Asche tomorrow and inform him of the lack of customer service provided by his associates. I adore Kohl's but plan to shop at the Tinley Park Store and encourage each of you to do the same. read more
