Hey fellow Yelpers! I've been to this Target very few times. I usually don't go to this Target due to it being a little far compared to my go-to which is the Oak Lawn location. I wasn't really looking for anything specific, but I had some returns to do and wanted to check out the clearance section. There's only 1 entrance at this Target location and lots of parking. I'm assuming because it's not as big as other Target locations where there are 2 entrances. Bathroom: The bathroom is located on the far right side of the store near the entrance. The bathroom was very clean! Always love a clean public bathroom! Customer Service: The customer service experience was okay. I wanted to do my returns first since the exchanges & returns area is closest to the entrance, but there was no one in that area when I came. I waited about 10 minutes and still no one came, so I ended up doing some shopping and then doing returns last. When I was checking out, a cashier was talking to a customer for a good 5-10 minutes. I already laid all my stuff I was going to buy on the checkout counter and the customer already paid for her stuff. I low key could've gone to another cashier and would've checked out faster. Merchandise: This Target location had some decent stuff. The clearance section was so huge. There were clearance sections in different parts of the store, but I had a blast in the clearance area in the women's section. Definitely bigger than other Targets I've been to and I was able to find really good deals like $3 shirts and $9 black slacks for work, so I'm happy with my purchases. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a good shopping experience at Target at the Crestwood location. The only feedback I have is ensuring that there's at least 1 person in the exchanges & returns area always just in case customers come by. Maybe adding a bell or something that can signal staff that there are customers in the exchanges & returns area would help!? Just my thoughts here! Overall, the store was easy to navigate & I'm happy with my purchases. I hope this review helps Target in the Crestwood location, Target in general, & its current and future customers. i lI had to exchange a pair of my neices pants from an Ex-Lg to a LG & we grabbed all the receipts from Christmas. Nothing matched to my surfprise & the 11/manger wanted me to pay $3.00 for the difference in price. I complained & said Are you kidding me, for the same pants, Exact SAME PANTS, but a smaller size? All because I have the wrong receipt & all the tags are on the pants to show that this is your item from the staore. I don't think so!!! The woman said she was the manger & that is their store policy. I told her what she can do with the store policy & that I would never shop there again. The manager had an attitude & I gave it right back to her. She wanted my ID because you can only bring back so many items a YEAR!! Again do you believe that crap. I told her Walmart, Carson's, JC Penny & multiple other stores would do an even exchange WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS & not give the customers the attitude she gave me. First time visiting this location and had such a great experience. Tashana (I apologize if I spelled it wrong) went above and beyond. I visited at almost closing time on Nov. 30th and she helped me locate 2 items I've been searching for. She was very kind, knowledgeable and definitely an asset to Target business. Tar-jey is the name affectionately assigned by frequent visitors like myself. Walk in for one item, become enticed by the beautiful displays or new arrivals. Noticed the majority of the employees spend more time playing on their cell phones than doing their jobs. Whoever does the hiring around here must not be all that smart. Less 16 year old kids and more adults would be a good start. Aside from that, I come here to buy frozen food in bulk and the occasional loaf of bread. Noticed today that they sell caulk guns. I have started to do my shopping at Crestwood, this, after repeatedly being disappointed by a closer store. The staff here is AMAZING!!!! The girl at the checkout helped me with the app and saved me money on my purchase, I even found two $5 gift cards in the wallet part of the app. I also went to compliment my experience to the store manager and she was also kind and professional, she even gave her employee a shout out as I was leaving. True leadership, encouraging her employees to be kind and helpful! Even today as I was looking for a fall coat for my daughter a staff member stopped and let me know that they were rolling out more stock so if we needed a size, she would be happy to check in the back. I almost fell over. Someone pinch me, may my new store love affair never end! We need more of this in our society today! Thank you for the Crestwood store, what a gift!!!! read more

I am a huge Target fan. I don't usually write a review about big box stores but this Target is great. Customer service is always great and helpful. Never had to wait long in a line. I placed a pick up order while in the store for an online price and I literally seen the employee walking pass filling my order 5 minutes later. It took 10 minutes to get my order ready for pick up, very efficient. I appreciate the staff here and glad it's my neighborhood Target. read more

I had visited your locations yesterday (1/29/22) and had an easy time finding what i needed. The workers were very nice to us and was very patient when i was still deciding about items in checkout. This Target has a nasty bathroom. Do not bring children to this Target. It is dirty in the bathroom and believe me, all little kids need to go when you take them out in public. read more

I have seen newer and much better stocked Targets. Went in for a dress shirt for a suit. Clothing made in Taiwan!?? A proper shirt has the neck size and arm length and either slim or regular fit. These has small medium and large. Trust me a large Taiwanese is NOT a large size American. So bottom line, unless your shopping for casual clothes, don't shop at Target. read more

I am not a target fan. I don't get the love. I find them expensive. Therefore, I rarely go here, and try not to do my household stock-up here. What I do like about Target is the organization and the selection. Their clothes are pretty nice. They've stepped up their game on style. Also, they do have a great selection of workout clothes. Prices are just too high on the household stuff, compared to Walmart. read more

This Target, while being hit or miss at times, has some of the friendliest employees around. Additionally, if you call to check on an item (say, Vanilla Pediasure), you'll be put on hold for some serious time (of course), but they won't hang up on you or forget about you entirely. Also? They have ample wheelchair accessible parking. If you're into that sort of thing, that is (which I am). I'd avoid it on Friday and Saturday nights as it sometimes seems a bit seedy and there's always a broken (insert item made of glass here) awaiting clean up. If you get there early, there's usually no wait to check out, either. Overall, it's not a bad Target, really. I wouldn't want to, say, celebrate a birthday there or anything, but it's not a bad place to snatch a few necessities now and again. read more

Forgot to check the expiration date on some grilled chicken breast strips before buying...while eating I looked at the package and saw that the chicken was expired... not just slightly either, but instead by 8 days!!! Completely unacceptable quality control. read more

This is the THIRD TIME I have gone into the store and been shafted on a gift card. I buy the advertised Proctor Gamble products and get the gift card back with the incorrect amount on them. I got 3 gift cards that were supposed to be $10 each and went I went to redeem them they were only $5 a piece. Then customer service is like "oh well". Seriously? Guess what Target, it takes me the same amount of time to get to your store as it does to get to Meijer's...there's more places to shop than just you! read more

Yes, stunning as I found this to be, it's true, they don't appear to care about customer service whatsoever. And yes it's true, they will practically wrestle you to the ground rather rather than honor their "competitor's pricing match"! Hard to believe the lengths they will go to but just try them out yourself some day. Believe me when I say it will get to be fun after a while. I mean, FUN in a twisted & denigrating sort of manner I suppose. Nope...they will not honor food, which they should outline. But fine, I can deal with that. Try something ELSE. And be EXACT so they haven't leg to stand on. Be sure it's a CURRENT, local ad which exact same product & dimensions. Helps if you have picture in your ad! Here is typically how it will go, 9 times outta 10: They will first STARE at your ad for about 10 minutes as if you manufactured it in your basement. Yes, be prepared for them to view you like you're a criminal, at best, pond scum at worst. And next they will call someone else over to also check it out. Might even take out special glasses to inspect your ad. This person will take as long, sometimes longer, often also calling over a third employee. Even if it's by closing another register! At this point, people BEHIND you in line (and it can ONLY be done at customer service desk. It's not like you CHOSE to go there!) are out for your blood, they are getting so irritated (and rightly so). But alas, don't be intimidated, stand your ground, you are IN THE RIGHT! Plus heck, you've come this far. In the end, do NOT end up surprised to find them failing to honor "competitor" price for any reason. Sometimes none at all...they will just state, sorry that's too cheap, we can't go that low. (well yes, YOU Target are overpriced most of the time!) AND....HEY GUYS.......WALMART'S across the street with the SAME policy they actually honor!. So you CAN'T follow your own policy? REALLY? Does your corporation know? Boy, this is getting FUN! Clean store and the staff seems to be helpful. Food section is not as big as the one in Tinley Park. The only Target I know with no Starbucks, brings it down a star. Do to the food section being small and no Starbucks will go to the the one in Tinley Park in the future. read more

This location has everything I'm looking for, almost every time I go. The reason for only 2 stars is that their check out lines are always outrageous! Every single time I go, there are only 2 lanes open and lines wrapping around the accessories department! read more

My friend worked here and had a horrible time. He always got hit on by older folk and his manager was mistreating him. He had a bad time working at this Target....hopefully management is better. I went there recently and was really unimpressed. A bit dirty inside..and the cashier was very rude to me. That friend of my mine has claimed that he'd love to pee into their fridge.......his experiences there were pretty bad. read more

Still charging beverage tax that was repealed and on a item that has no sugar. I purchased K-cup Donut Shop coffee was still charged the tax of 2.25%. Look at your receipt and make sure your not paying more than you should be. read more

I am a loyal fan of this Target! It's by my house..so it's very convenient for me to stop by Crestwood and not drive to the 95th store! This place may get wild on the Holidays but, what retail store doesn't! This is my go to Target... whats yours? read more

Unbelievable lines. Never understood why you have employees walking around when the lines to check out are so long. You're going to start losing customers like Kmart for this reason. March 5, 2013 Dear Target Store Manager Crestwood, We would like at this time to tell you how much a gentleman name Mr. Layzon who took care of us during our return of your products. We didn't have one receipts, so he got on the phone an talk to someone an got the return done in a fashionable amount of time. He kept saying he was sorry we were not satisfied with your products......He went beyond of what we expected an was truly an asset to your company with his manners. He handle this at 110% with respect to us an made sure I didn't get another store credit card, cuz of not having the proper receipt. OK!!! What is wrong with this store??? Apparently they know neither HOW to read (their OWN policy which happens to be stamped all over signs on their store) NOR do they care to learn (and add to that, figure out what 2 words--customer service---means). I am calling all to collectively make them LEARN, report to BBB & finally, file possible class action lawsuit against them. They clearly state they "match all competitors pricing" however when one goes in there with ad stating EXACT same item (manufacturer, size & current ad) they BALK or just like they did today saying...oh yeah, we do MATCH....but NOT on food! Honestly, they are continually trying to fight hororing their OWN damn policy...fact is, I didn't create it, THEY DID. If they don't want to honor competitors, then don't WRITE a "contract" to SAY YOU WILL.....just go out of business already. Back to tonight: I said calmly...well that's totally untrue since I've matched FOOD items here all the time. She said...you must be mistaken (like I'm mentally ill! Yes, callng me a liar!) so I whipped out receipts to PROVE they've matched (cereal & such just this past week) ---undeterred she didn't blink & said, well that's by error so pls. leave this line now if you've no business here (which I interrupted to say....yes, Sure...THREE year ERRORS??) She said --REPEATED--pls. leave line. This is the BEST part folks, the item she was requested to make were chiquita bananas from Jewel (and yes, they ARE Chiquita at target, I was lucky or knew better than try). I was also buying $50 worth of toiletries & makeup items I left sitting on the counter. All for her to lose by not honoring a simple banana match-price from Jewel (I even had my preferred card to whip out since it required that there). Asked for manager, she said "none here now"-------I'm telling you, they need to be STOPPED because 1)WHEN they honor their policy (which yeah, it's rare) they do so ONLY after administering TONS of grief & hard time. And 2) they go to insane lengths NOT to honor it at all. I want them stopped & out of business & plan to be the person to help that happen. I hope someone is with me. For now, I will be the BIGGEST headache this store has ever seen coming. Since they refuse to honor their OWN contract (their stated store policy)..I will be buying up SHITLOADS Of expensive crap to return after opening & within allowed timeframe. I called this Target in my pursuit of the Nintendo Switch to which I was told they had one in stock and that no one had called or came in the store asking for it the entire day the rep visually checked to confirm its existence and I told him I would arrive shortly he said just come to electronics (3:52) I will have it there. I arrived at the store 20 minutes (4:15 in the store) later after searching for the guy in electronics I see him stocking inventory except this wasn't the same guy I spoke with he had left for the day. I asked the guy who was there now if there was a switch on hold and he said I just started at 4 and I don't know (4:23) so I asked if he could check he let out a sigh and begrudgingly looked in the Nintendo section glass and said nope I don't see it I said right cause he put it to the side and he said I don't see one behind the counter either except he never went to the counter we were in the same isle I encountered him in. I told him you didn't even check he said I can see from here (impossible unless he's superman) I asked why would he leave a console lying in the open maybe it's in one of the cabinets or drawers and he said I don't know I started at 4 I don't see one we might have sold it someone asked me and I haven't seen one so I know there isn't one over there. All the while he continued to stock the shelves and never moved. I went to customer service and they called HIM again I asked if they can just search the inventory to see if it's in stock and the guy comes borderline screaming at the rep "I just got here at 4" and the rep asked if he could calm down and he stormed off to the break room I could accept this from some adolescent newbie ignorant to the ways of the world but that guy was at least 40 it sucks cause I came out of my way to be thwarted by some guy upset that he's working this is my neighborhood Target but I guess I have to go elsewhere to get the service I deserve. read more

This Target is a nightmare. Waited 15 minutes in line just to get a question answered as no one picked up the in store customer service phone. Then waited another 15 minutes to check out at which point I was directed to the customer service line which was nine people deep. I left my full cart without buying anything. This used to be my favorite store until I heard about that data breach in late 2013, I never went back there unless I knew I was paying with cash only and that's not always convenient in our ever growing 'pay by plastic' world. It remains to be seen if the chain will ever recover from that data breach in 2013. read more
