Children's drawings are displayed on a tiled wall in a public restroom, with two small sinks and a yellow wet floor caution sign.

My husband and I had some interest in coming to a mall to do some clothes shopping as well some Christmas shopping. With some stores already having Black Friday deals we decided trying to go before Thanksgiving was the best option. This mall fit the bill for what we wanted and we were able to get a decent amount of shopping done here. It's not far from Chicago while also being not as busy as the typical shopping area at the Magnificent Mile. If you need to get some shopping done and are in the area, this mall is a decent spot.

Amazing but some flaws restaurants and stores close pretty often like they removed rolled ice cream but the Korean corn dogs are pretty good

Big mall but not that as big as some of the better malls around it. Chicago Ridge Mall isn't the nicest but it's cleaned up a bit and feels safe. It has lots of the mall basics like a food court and play area to keep kids occupied while you take care of things. Has some pretty annoying policies others mentioned. There's some areas of the mall that aren't as nice as others. Coming here isn't as much of a hassle. It's hardly ever crowded except a little more during holidays and such. The stores are pretty basic and mostly the kind you'll find in a mall wherever. Has pretty lame ass food choices. There's a Panda Express, enough said. Bathrooms are gross. These sometimes will be cleaned but most times there's garbage and toilet paper on the floors and stuff. Has a few really good things about it so it's not all bad. It almost is never crowded except occasionally for the holidays. There's a few cheaper stores but the majority of these can be found wherever.

Chicago ridge is my local area mall that I tend to frequent often I feel a little bit safer at this moment although a couple years ago it was on the news that several children got into some type of rockets and now they have enforced a curfew children have to be or teens have to be accompanied by an adult if they're under the age of 16 and I really like that so I definitely will oblige and that rule several other stores have popped up here H&H they're doing some remodeling so I believe several more are on the way various food court it's a nice open floor plan then I like it was well or all the stores are connected even all these is at the mall one of my fave stores and you have the movie theater AMC that's connected in the mall as well you can pretty much spend your whole day at this mall

Fix & More - Checkout counter at a retail store with stationery, phone accessories, and a glass fridge with colorful products, located near a glass storefront.

"Fix and more" is located in the mall. I took my screen to be replaced for $135 on my iPhone. The man said it would take an hour and a half and I agreed. I went back to see if my phone was ready and there was a family saying that they had the screen replaced and the screen had black lines running down the phone. They kept telling the man working on my phone to fix theirs. I started to get nervous and they left. The owner told me those people are crazy and they dropped the phone. Finally my phone was done and I was already nervous about my phone in his hands. The man tells me it's 275 and I was in shock. I grabbed the phone and told my daughter to check it. She checked it and the camera didn't work. I felt stupid, I told the owner and he said he didn't touch the camera, apparently he did. Now I have a iPhone he broke and I told him I wasn't gonna pay him $275. I gave him what I had $235 and this man is a thief. Do not go here.

My favorite place at Chicago Ridge Mall.

Hey fellow Yelpers! I've been to this Ross location so many times and found so many good deals…read more Friendly staff, great inventory, & prices you just can't beat. I've been to other Ross locations and I'd have to say this is my favorite one. Customer Service: The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I always get greeted when I walk in and it feels nice. Keep up the amazing work! From time to time, I'll have returns and the associates are always patient with me whether it's me trying to find the paper receipt on my pocket or purse. The line to check out tends to be really long on the weekend, so I'd suggest maybe at least 2-3 cashiers on the register on the weekends at least to reduce the waiting time in line and a smooth & fast checkout experience. Bathroom: The bathroom is located in the back of the store. To use the bathroom, you have to notify the security or an associate since the door is locked by a pin pad. I'm assuming this is to prevent someone from stealing which is good, but interesting that the Marshalls in the same plaza isn't locked. Merchandise: This Ross location has great inventory. I'm not sure how often they restock their merchandise, but I feel like every time I come, I see something new or there's a different set up especially if a holiday is coming up like Valentine's Day, Christmas, etc. they have a dedicated seasonal section where they have items based on the season. I have a pair of UGG boots, Nike shoes, Puma shoes, and more from Ross. You can also find some good cologne/perfume here. My boyfriend is plus size and unfortunately their plus size inventory is very limited, so you are definitely better off at Burlington. Kind of random, but they sell Funko pops and DBZ figures. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a great shopping experience at Ross at the Chicago Ridge location. The staff are friendly, great inventory, & affordable prices. I hope this review helps Ross in the Chicago Ridge location, Ross in general, & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!

Defintely check them out. My only issue here is, in order to find something of value, you have to spend a lot of time here looking and trying on clothes but I guess that's at any bargain store you go to. Defintely try them out, if you can.

So I consider myself a fashionista. I love fashion and I love to 'create' outfits…read more Akira is a place I would highly recommend to any fashionista or stylist. They have really cute clothes. I saw several items in store I would have purchased if, during my shopping trip I wasn't on a tight budget. That being said, if you are on a tight budget, this isn't the place for you. But if you have loads of cash to spare, this is a great place to go. I also like that you can look on their website prior to visiting and most of the things are also in store. That was pretty helpful. I enjoyed going here and "window shopping" and trying on clothes. Again, I highly recommend them if you have loads of cash to spare.

While there trying to return a damaged item purchased as new, the music that blared from the speakers was beyond anything I have ever experienced at any shopping establishment. The N word was repeated more than 20 times in one song. As if that wasn't enough, the sales people sang along with it. N*#@+ ??? I had my 9 year old niece with me and I couldn't remove her from this place fast enough. If rap lyrics come with warnings on their labels WHY WOULD YOU PLAY THEM IN A STORE??? I will NEVER shop at any Akira again. I found similar music in the Hyde Park store, only I was alone that time. I love their styles, but I will not be subject to horrific words and music while trying to put an outfit together. Shame on Akira for not being better than this.

Home Goods opened at 8 but it was pouring rain so I did not get there till 10am. It was packed..like all of Oak Lawn thought it was the last day on earth. Home Goods knocked it out of the park with plenty of staff, cashiers, helpers to load your car, a packed store with all your favorite design items. They had staff keeping shelves arranged and tidying up aisles. Expediters would find you a cart person to move your item up front because if you left it- it would be gone to some other customer who was faster than you. They had a beautiful champagne frosted mirror foyer table I got for $50 less than Minnesota when I was there. The aisles are a little tight but who cares when you are in heaven. It was men, women, couples, the whole neighborhood must have arrived. Parking lost is spacious but packed that day. They had people keeping carts back in from the lot. You could feel the frenzy and delight of us all as we found great deals, rugs, furniture, lamps, mirrors, linens, beautiful art work drapes and accessories. It is always a happy place when I see beautiful things like that. Well planned opening with well trained people, plenty of staff who were very nice and free Home Goods huge Shopping bags you could keep on entry as you arrived and take home. It replaced the store across from Ford City and so much better an arena to shop at.
