That Walmart is awful!!! Always long lines, the self checkout is slow, they are never fully stocked, the parking sucks. I work at the one in Montgomery and it is not anywhere close to this store. I have NEVER been asked for a receipt at this Walmart whether my things are in a bag or not. read more

I came to walmart with my boyfriend to get his car battery replaced. After waiting 2.5 hours for them to install the battery, we asked how much longer it would take, and they told us that if we were in such a hurry that we could take our keys and leave. So we agreed to just leave and install the battery ourselves just to find out they they had lost our keys. Awful very rude customer service. read more

Customer service is not the first thing I think of when someone mentions walmart. I know now that if I need anything from there to go early in the morning or send someone else. I really hate writing bad reviews and I am sure there might be some really good workers there...just one shines more than others. If you go after let's say 6pm they might have a total of 3 registers open plus self checkout. After that it is a TOTAL NIGHTMARE!! My recent trip ended with me standing in line for I know over 30 mins to checkout not to mention the poor people behind me that got kicked out of another line after standing in it for at least 15. So.... one register is checking and the other one had people in it but the light is off. I know from working as a cashier no light means no service lol but I guess some do not care. The cashiers line kept getting longer finally she had to stop what she was doing, step out of her area to yell at everyone in the line that after a certain gentleman she would no longer be open. So most of them complained but moved to my line or just left their buggy. No more than 3 mins later 5 more people jumped in her line. No mind you, her light has been off the whole time with her "lane closed" sign at the end. Again, she had to step out and yell once more letting everyone know that she was closed. This time one customer threw a fit letting everyone know that she was going to target and that they needed to be opening up more registers not closing them down. At this point I look up to see, if I had to guess, the front end supervisor at the customer service desk laughing with two other employees. Now I am not nor have I ever been an employee of walmart but I am pretty sure that if I had been running the front that night I would have been standing at the end of that cashiers line letting people know she was closed. Not only did the lady make a small scene two other people decided it was cool to make not so nice comments to the only cashier that was working. This is not the only time I have been/seen this type of thing happen here and I am sure it will not be the last. Place needs a revamp on customer service. read more

I had placed a site to store order. The item arrived timely. But when you arrived to pick it up, it seems Walmart can't scan their own email bar code. They had to have the order #!!!! Well, that isn't on the email anywhere. Walmart's response... go home and get it. Come back when you have it. We can't look it up without it. EXCUSE ME!!! This is Walmart's procedure. You get the email that notifies you it is ready for pickup. You arrive with your cell phone in hand with the pickup email. And then Walmart can't do a thing. fortunately, was able to get the order number. I would have never come back for it otherwise. read more

I went to Livingston Walmart for a simple oil change, after an hour in the bay, they came back and told me that the oil pan hex bolt was stripped and could not be taken out, that they were not going to change my oil., I had to take it back to the last place that changed my oil. (Lufkin Walmart). I had to find my receipt from the last oil change, go to Walmart Lufkin, tell them what Livingston Walmart had to say they inspected it, the evidence indicated yes the bolt was stripped, it was done by the employee not using the property tool to remove the bolt. ( Channel-lock) , I saw the employee in Livingston walk down under my car with this tool. So I tend to believe Livingston's mechanic damaged the hex bolt and was not Man enough to take responsibility for the damage he caused. Lufkin presented evidence that they did not damage the bolt but they did fix the Livingston mechanic damage. I recited these issues to the Livingston auto service manager he did listen to me, I felt like it was a cursory listen and I was a waste of his time. read more

I went there found a tackle box with others marks on the shelf 7.96 it rang up 29.96 the csr walked with my wife to where we got it. She was rude.there policy states if that if it's on the shelf of that price it should be given it was not honored.my son was the one who wanted it he is 11 yet they make the mistakes of putting stock in the wrong place and I have to be the one upset because my kid is upset it was poor customer service all around. Wow! what an incredible store. Nice, Clean ,and Organized. The staff went above and beyond to help me find everything I was looking for. I was amazed at the selection of holiday candy that was available, nice,neat and fully stocked, This is a perfect example of what a Hometown store should look like. Kudos to the whole team. I have been tempted to stop shopping at Walmart because the employees. I have been to so many different stores where the employees were just sour, unfriendly, even rude. The place is always dirty, and I understand that a large chain is going to be a little dirty, but it's like their restrooms set the new lowest standard for the nation, I've smelled dumpsters that are better. There's never anyone to help you, and this doesn't seem to be this location only. And everyone you ask for help is either busy, off duty, or just simply doesn't care. And when all your efforts pay off and they call for someone it only takes about 30 minutes for someone to arrive! read more

I can't even begin to describe how much I LOATHE Walmart. I avoid it like the plague, but when you need medicine late at night and this is the only place that's open, the options are nonexistent. I don't think I've ever met a friendly or helpful employee. The way this store is set up is beyond baffling; it makes zero sense. Half of the price tags are missing from the shelf or some customers are such hogs they destroy the shelves and leave things in disarray which this could be remedied by Walmart staffing their stores better so they had enough employees on hand to fix issues like this. And of course there is the problem that is as old as I can remember...726 registers, but yet only ONE cashier. That's right, ONE. And we all know that means the check out line was longer than the train on Princess Diana's wedding dress. So much frustration! Since this IS Walmart, your visit will always come with a complimentary child screaming no further than one aisle away from you at all times as well as a rude group of half naked teenagers that walk 5 wide down the aisles making it difficult to get to what you need. I detest this place and if I didn't absolutely have to get something that was needed ASAP, I would have kept on driving. read more

This Walmart is by far the worst one I have been in. It is filthy, the produce is usually old, and out of 22 check out lanes they usually have around 3 open. I only go there if I have to, and that isnt often. read more

Some of the employees aren't of any help, some are quite helpful. Items are not always in stock, which seems to be a regular occurrence. Parking lot is a mess, doesn't make for a good first impression. My last trip entailed receiving a large dent in my door from a shopping cart, with said shopping cart still against my vehicle upon my exit from the store. Not impressed with this Walmart and will do all my shopping at other stores. read more
