I stopped physically shopping at this store because the employees seem more interested in standing in huddles and talking rather than helping customers. So, I began ordering online. Today, I received slimy salad mix, a pepper that was rotted on the top and burger buns that were expired 4 days ago. All these were immediately noticeable. I mean.. it's Walmart. It's average. Huge parking lot. HUGE store. There's a pretzel shop, hair salon, bank, etc inside. The prices are great. The selection is great. It's usually clean. They have Pickup here, but I haven't tried it. Taking off 2 stars for the location. It's in a giant plaza, and the parking lot can be CRAZY. There's even a street sign that lists it as a "high accident area". It's not in the greatest part of town. If you're here by yourself at night, it can be sketchy. There's a Canton police officer posted by the exit at all times. I once caught a man in the car next to me masturbating in the parking lot.... also, half of the carts are inoperable. But hey, it's Walmart. It gets the job done. read more

I was assaulted in the store yesterday! I asked employees to help. They obviously did know how to respond to the man grabbing me and following me. They used walkie but said there was no security present to assist. Multiple employees watched as man continued following me. I was told they called police but after 20 minutes there was still no police present. A very dangerous situation which could have been much worse. Lack of staff and intervention was terrible. read more

I purchased 4 new tires on nov 16th and had them installed by Walmart auto center on atlantic blve in canton ohio. After 3 days of light driving my front drivers side tire came off while driving. Walmart did not care, told me it wasnt their problem and with no investigation denied any cliam or rewponsibility. Lug nuts dont just fall off a car. Avoid taking your car here if you love your family, they dont care. read more

It may be controversial to say so... but what else would the average person need? This super-center quite literally has it all. So much variety in one place. Bizarre snacks that aren't sold anywhere else, all your basic necessities in one stop. Fair prices you grew up with and have come to expect as normal pricing, and competitors charging often times double if not even more for the same merchandise. Their bakery is like a wonderland. I love it! There is just interesting stuff here I can't find anywhere else. Their pre-made cold sandwiches and subs are fantastic too! I'm a fan of the chicken wraps, the Southwest style to name just one. This place is a giant, quite the 'super power' of the area I dare say. A little frightening even I can admit, as it dominates other stores. But upon visiting the store itself... you just can't really complain, it's clean, well maintained, has spacious and easy to navigate aisles, has friendly and not to forget to mention - PLENTIFUL amounts of employees. There are so many associates here that it's common to see a handful of them shopping the sales floor with you during their breaks - or for items before their trip home. It's a breath of fresh air to say a Walmart has a large and strong staff team, and a fair amount of registers open. Some of the cashiers can be quite slow, but I keep in mind a lot of them may have physical disabilities and age working against them. And they need an opportunity to work too. Take the extra step and use a live cashier over the self checkout when you can. We need to keep Walmarts this way and have more of them follow suit if this business is inevitably going to become the most common big retail chain - and consequently - the largest potential place of employment! read more

For one, this store never has any carts for the disabled available. Many times I have gone there, only to have to turn around and go home because I am unable to walk the store to get my groceries. I am unable to do pick up because I am on a fixed income and can not always wait till the next day after receiving my check. My second issue is when I do get a cart, the shelves are half empty. I have shopped this Walmart for a long time. The one problem that I have is the meat department.I bought several beer roast they are full of fat and very stringy . The last one ended up in the trash just could not eat it made me sick. Hamburgers are full of fat they don't taste like they use to. read more

A few months ago I saw an ad in the store for a laptop for 69.00. It was small but perfect for what I needed. I asked the sales man if they had any of them in stock and she he would check. He told me that 69.00 was a great price for that item. He was gone a few minutes and then came back and told me that that was the sales price from, are you ready for this? Black Friday sales. I told them that was false advertising and that if I was a mean person I could hold them to that price for that laptop. I went there in March or April and your telling me that was a Black Friday sale amount?! I told them I suggested they fix that. The next person may not be so nice and understanding. read more

I would second the fact that this place is not unlike entering a horror movie set. I imagine it being like one of those movies where a gal stops for gas and they meet the only somewhat normal person in a town at a gas station in the middle of nowhere and there is a sort of eerie foreshadowing such that the occupant of the car feels like they are being watched (maybe the classic first person camera angle using the viewpoint of one of the beasts through a dirty windowpane) and like the "normal" person of the town is sort of warning them to "git" because bad stuff always happens to people in this town. Well, of course the gal gets halfway down the road and realizes that she has forgotten her purse at the gas station and she has to GO BACK and then the hairy beasts rip her to pieces and you knew, YOU KNEW that she should've trusted her instincts and just left the freaking purse! That is not too far off from the clientele of this Supercenter. It's very well possible that everyone shopping in the store is related. I saw a guy with the tattoo on the middle of his forearm (and his forearm was the size of a #2 pencil) of the letter "F" in old English font. Now tell me that's not a secret code for some type of horrific mayhem. If you insist on disregarding my warning at least there is a certain amount of entertainment to be had if you hang out around the checkout counters and keep the question "Why do you think you needed *that* *now*?" running through your mind. Keep a journal; you'll thank me later. To add to this drama, when I asked "When are you going to get your next Wii shipment?" (you can tell I was on a hunt) the lady in the tech department told me with seeming evil delight "We're not getting any more tonight!" Now, far be it from me to criticize when the answer given to a question isn't exactly an answer that applies to the question that was asked. I have been known to do my fair share of misdirection and meandering when answering sensitive questions. But when such a simple question is involved it seems that a "Not until next week" or a "They've been coming in on Tuesdays" or even an "I don't know" is perfectly acceptable. However, her response was as equally helpful as if she had responded "We didn't get any last Monday!" or "Eat your own face" or "That lobster is MAD". It's a typical Walmart, cheap prices of course, but lacks availability of many products as of late. They don't seem to stock shelves as often as they used to when it first opened. It's good for some things, but not my go to place for much. read more

Do NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE... I have a brand new jeep and you have to push in the key to turn it off or to start it up.. went to get an oil change, pulled my vehicle to the garage lot and took them the keys to pull it in... well, they went out, pulled it in the garage, came back to me and told me that the key almost got stuck in the ignition and they had to fight with it to get jeep to start.... I said like hell, did you read the ignition???! You have to push it in and turn it to start it and shut it off!!! I got my jeep back and wouldn't let them touch it after that!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! They're not MECHANICS!! If they don't know how to push in a key to start or shut it off, then hard to tell what they would do to the vehicle!!! read more

I give the eyeglass Department a 5-star rating and in particular My overall experience was enhanced by the employee name Cindy. She has been with Walmart for many years and you can certainly tell it cuz she knows exactly what she is doing. I have been buying glasses for over 50 years and this is by far the best experience I have had. I absolutely love the selection of frames and the one I picked out is just great! Cindy was so extremely helpful and I have never sat down and had a person adjust my glasses the first time and get it right! I returned about three months later as they were accidentally bent by my dog and once again Cindy was there thank God and I gave her my glasses she remembered me which was pleasant and again one time only in the back room to fix them and adjust them and they are perfect! I'm very picky about my glasses and my eyes and this employee is outstanding! As long as she is there you will have my business! I am retired and have managed hotels for over 30 years and you have a star in your crew. Hopefully this will get her some type of recognition as she deserves it and is so wonderful with your customers, your livelihood! read more

Took my car in for 2 new back tires. Get a call they can't do because of excessive brake fluid leak. No spots in my driveway, drove it there. We get there and they show a line conveniently starting where the yellow lines lead into bay, no brake fluid in lines. I have to have it towed to my mechanic, we believe they caused this issue and will be suing for repairs. If anyone has had similar issues with their tire department I would like to know! read more
