It's just like the Giant Eagle on the Strip.... except with the added excitement that you might get stabbed after 7:30 PM.

The situation escalated quickly when he accused me of trying to obtain a prescription I wasn't entitled to, despite the fact that my primary doctor's office had originally confirmed what was needed. The pharmacist ignored the facts, became aggressive in tone, and started to manipulate the situation, making me feel like I was in the wrong. To make matters worse, he attempted to downplay the situation by offering me a discount of $25, which seemed like a mere attempt to brush things under the rug. I suspect they initially charged my insurance company a significantly higher amount, likely $500 or more, and the pharmacist seemed more concerned about deflecting the issue than addressing it fairly. His unprofessional behavior, lack of empathy, and failure to communicate properly with me made me lose all trust in this pharmacy. This experience was not only disrespectful but also raised serious concerns about the lack of understanding of basic procedures, including HIPAA regulations. I strongly feel that this pharmacist's actions were inappropriate and unprofessional, and I would recommend avoiding Giant Eagle Pharmacy in the future. The treatment I received was unacceptable, and I will never trust them with my healthcare needs again. Giant eagle at the strip Canton Ohio a very manipulating nasty loud queen do not rely on this place it's very unregulated by the giant eagle reputation and totally crossed the line unbelievably ignorant pharmacist that obviously overtalk me and try to think my name problem was my prescription no it was my hip alone right wait I believe he knows he's a part of that violation that's why he's so loudly I'm sure anybody that was there working with them if not the customer outside of the pharmacy would have heard it how ignorant is that beware never go there again trust me on this this recent pharmacist is a narcissist He needs to be fired don't trust this place because of him I'm not going to buy my groceries here anymore and or trust himgiant eagle and who they pick to be there pharmacist company subcontractor and if not subcontractor then they would be even worse as the actual owner beware beware very manipulated twisting what I call a nasty queen manipulating and trying to cover up for government state which totally but my health in jeopardy which could end up being a huge lawsuit help ignorant could a company like giant eagle higher somebody or we lie on a pharmacy subcontractor hiring somebody like this recent pharmacist as of February 22-20-25 Just ask his coworkers on 02/21/2025 How loud he was trying to over talk me thinking that I'm going to be confused I know exactly what was going on and I'm sure they realize it and besides that in the court of law what he's so mistakenly stated the first person I deal with denied it but 30 seconds prior to my issue he said he don't know who or what they said but then he said oh I talked to him he denies it no he denies it a game player a twisted pathetic medical person that's so crossed the line and needs to pay up and answer and admit to their pathetic ethical business practice* read more

Curbside pickup at this store is VERY rude. I called because my grand-daughter had placed an order for delivery, but her receipt stated "curbside pickup", which confused her. The person who took the call in curbside-pickup was extremely rude and hung up on me, causing me to call the Store manager and file a compliant. read more

My husband had a prescription for Paxlovid for treating COVID. He went to pick it up and they were very informative about the medicine and told him to wait in his car and they would bring it out to him. They also explained any side effects and what medicines he was already taken to make sure it wouldn't interfer with what he was already on. He was very impressed with the way they handled this script compared to Walgreens who never asked any questions or told us the side effects. Great service as far as my husband is concerned. read more

Terrible produce handling in this location. Can't believe the condition items are in, mold, black edged damaged leaf lettuce, limp green beans, bruised apples. And now we are being forced to buy GE brand items, while other brands are marked up in price. The store brand products are not very good. Popular items are consistently out of stock. 2 of the "security" guards do nothing but talk on their cell phones or play games on their phones, paying no attention to what is going on around them. The meat cutting here is also bad. Pork chops are cut so unevenly it's difficult to cook them, and thick and thin are packaged together. Bone and fat is left on chicken breasts that should be boneless. The overall cleanliness of the store is poor. Instead of cleaning, they rearrange all of the products, making it difficult to find stuff. Something is very wrong at this location. read more

Usually customer service oriented but today long lines at the checkout. 3 full service checkouts open and 6 self service checkouts open. Poor business model to have the shoppers do the service that is expected from a "full service" grocery store..... read more

I'm glad that Giant Eagle is finally giving "perks" for other items you buy from them. I've been able to save more money on gas, because now I get "perks" when I fuel up. read more

The 'best of the BEST' of the Giant Eagle locations in Stark County. This open and airy store has the largest in-store deli in the immediate area. The produce is NEVER questioned (in my opinion) and the vast variety is evident as you take a walk through the store. read more

I mean, it's a big chain grocery store. i don't think there's much to honestly say about it. It's got what you need, probably.

Produce is ok. Meats are good. Overall a decent place to shop.

Bakery is great. The cakes are decorated so beautiful & best taste in town. Jolene in pharmacy is very kind. Food overall seems always fresh. Female manager very nice (don't know her name). However, the whole store is a little depressing compared to Washington Square. Not sure why. Also, no reason to have blocked off the parking near the door. They put up posts so it's not like it can used by fire truck. Seems to just be to make customers have to walk further to be controlling & looks ugly. read more

The one and only reason I give this pharmacy 5 stars is because of one woman. Her name is Jolene! I believe I spelled her name right. The staff there some of the rudest most inconsiderate people I've ever came into contact with. Not only do they have poor customer service, their people skills are absolutely terrible! I can't think of a word bad enough to describe these people without swearing. If not for Jolene this review would be -5 stars. They treat me sub-par due to the medication I am perscribed. Jolene always helps the best she can (over the phone or in person). She always has a smile on her face and even goes as far as to make small talk. What a wonderful lady. I think the rest of their team should take notes from her. Do they understand that without customers they wouldn't have a job? Wow! Thank you Jolene, most of your co-workers should literally be fired. They have no business being in contact with people. read more
