I have never had a big problem with this Walmart until today. I went to return something with my mom as returns were finally allowed. I was more than a bit cranky because I couldn't understand why they couldn't open up more return registers and the return line was ridiculously long. A few of the employees were nice enough to explain that everyone had to be six feet away (though it made little sense because most of the employees were so close to each other they were almost touching as they walked down the aisles). The lady who did our return though was incredibly rude. She told my mom she felt sorry for her and that I needed to take a chill pill. I've been in customer service my whole life and NEVER is it ok to insult a customer. You're supposed to be empathetic and mitigate the customer's anger, not insult them. In my whole life this is the first negative review I have ever given and I"m an normally a super sweet person. I suppose if a shopping place and an employee can bring me to this level of anger it's best to stay far away. I will never be shopping at this Walmart again. read more

This store is terrible. Had an order that I was to pick up in store and they cancelled when I still had 3 hours to pick it up. I called the store to find out why order was cancelled and I was asked to wait for a manager and after waiting on hold for over ten minutes a girl came on the phone and just said that they still have my order. I went to the store to pick it up and they were unable to find it. I was waiting for a manager for over 30 minutes. To find out that they pulled the wrong items. Stay away from this store. read more

I went to have my brake light replaced at the auto center and the employees were extremely nice and helpful. Cheap price too. Also, my trunk was broken and one of the employees actually helped fix it for me and refused a tip! Will definitely come back here. read more

When I dropped my prescription off at the pharmacy I was told it would take approximately 30 minutes to fill. After walking around for 45 minutes I returned to find that my prescription hadn't been touched and that they needed to contact the doctor which they hadn't done yet. After waiting an additional 15 minutes I was told the doctor couldn't be reached and I would just have to wait. It's been an hour and ten minutes and I still haven't been helped and all the employees are still telling me I just need to wait. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone, as there are two other couples waiting here with me who have also not been helped in over an hour. read more

I don't usually shop at Walmart, and never thought I'd ever have a 5 star experience in one, but here I am. I got a flat tire that couldn't be patched, I work in the area, but live in the city, so needed something done and quick. I went over to the auto center at this Walmart, no wait on the weeknight I went in, and everything was all said in done in about 30 minutes. Employees were friendly and efficient, will definitely come back if I'm ever in a bind again! read more

During the Chicago Frozen blast of 2014, I was unfortunately enough to get a flat tire. After waiting over 5 hours to get towed, I arrived at this Walmart Tire and Lube. Everyone in that department was extremely nice and helpful, especially Jeff (I think that was his name). He was amazing and explained all my options and problems to me. The tow truck guy dropped my car in a parking space and Jeff was even willing to work on my car in -2 degree weather in order not to damage my rim driving it in the garage. I would highly recommend this place for tire services. read more

I went in there with an item I needed to return that I received as a gift. Out of the two associates customer service manager and the assistant manager and no one wanted to help me and lied and said it would came from a third-party vendor on Walmart.com finally when I reach somebody through their telephone number they told me the truth and that it actually came from Walmart. I don't understand why none of them could help me get the phone number and the order number so that they could've looked it up so I had to waste an hour of my time on the phone getting the order number just to go back and get my refund for the item that I wanted to return. This is common place and all Walmart stores the smart shop local or find a different retailer because they just don't know how to serve people. Even one I want to buy something there like groceries they won't even help you put those bags in the shopping cart they make you spend their little thing around and get your own bags terrible terrible service read more

SINGLE.MOST.IRRITATING.TRIP.TO.WALMART.IN.MY.LIFE. Stay out of the Algonquin (Randall Rd) Walmart! All I wanted was a stick vac and dental floss...and of course whatever else I come across that I don't really need. Oh and an Mp3 player. They have every vacuum known to man. No stick vac....okay...dental floss...I find a sea of toothpaste, enough to satisfy the dental hygiene of a small country...no floss...oh, it's in the next aisle, not near the toothpaste...ok...on the FLOOR. It's knee height! I get down there and there's 3 pkgs left..Three...and not what I wanted. I finally find the 2 ft by 2 ft area known as the Mp3 sales display. One Mp3 player. ONE. Forget it. I wandered in there for 2 hours (mostly spent on travel time because the store is an unorganized mess)...for nothing. Oh, and what's with the prices lately? The smallest Walmart brand of alumium foil almost $3!? Keep it. I hate this Walmart. The store is dirty, they are always low, or out of everything I come there for and nothing is where it should be. I stop there because it's on my way home from work, but never again! I'll make the trip down to the Walmart on Rt. 31 in Crystal Lake, it's the nicest one I've been to and they actually stock it. read more

Went in for an oil change an hour and a half before I had to be at work they told me it would take twenty five minutes, I just got my car back after over an hour of waiting. I'm now late for work and they didn't know how to check me out of the system. I will never come back read more

Regarding their vision center-very poor service! Had to come back a 2nd time because they ran out of time the 1st visit. After waiting 45 mins the 2nd visit they suggested to reschedule a 3rd time because once again they were too busy for me! Never will I go there again! read more

I do anything possible to avoid this walmart! it is dirty, chaos, and the cashiers are rude. I was there one time with my daughter who at the time was 9 months. so obviously that is the age where they are grabbing at things and touching everything!! and no mother is fast enough o stop everything while checking out I got tho the end of placing my items on the belt and waited until the cashier finished so I could pay. just before he told me the final price, very loudly and rudely he says " ummmmm are you not going to pay for that?" I asked him what do you mean? and he points to my daughter and days that your not paying for it? I looked at y daughter and at some point she must have grabbed a movie and was playing with it because it fell in the corner of the cart where the seat meets and was barely haning there. im like "oh I didn't know it was there" and then I handed it to the cashier. he then said " so now you want to pay for it" i told him i didn't want it and i didn't even know it was in the cart. he just game me a look like i was lying or something. . soooooo rude! read more
