Folks, I love Walmart. It is still the best prices in the grocery world, with great selections in all non-food items. This Walmart in particular has a consistent cast of characters that make the experience enjoyable. The late night crew is one of the best, where the Filipino lady is always asking me if I'm Filipino and then sticking up a conversation of which I can only understand about 80% of and can only respond in English. I also buy about 90% of my clothes here, because I'm a dad and nobody gives a hoot what I'm wearing to the BBQ, church, work, etc. I'm also a Walmart+ member, so I take advantage of the delivery service whenever I can. Loyal to the core and probably loyal to a fault. This is probably the calmest Walmart I've ever been to. read more

I purchased windshield wipers one month ago. The adapter broke and because I did not keep the receipt I was out of luck. Their product was clearly defective and their manager was not empowered to rectify a $10 problem. How can anyone do business with an organization with so little faith in their management. Joined wmt+... had 2 deliveries. 1st one received old bread. 2nd one 2 items missing, produce poor quality, Beef roast poor quality and expiration date 2days. They refunded items but that doesn't help when you need the items. Cancelled Wmt+definitely not worth it. read more

I like to look for rare video games every time I enter a department store so when I came here to get something else I went to the electronics department first. I heard some guy shouting at people to move out of his way and to respect his space (I'm paraphrasing this part because I don't remember exactly what he said). I looked at who was shouting and it was an employee. I went to the front of the store and the employee started to do the same by me and like three other people, shouting about how nobody should be there because of corona virus. I went home after I bought what I needed then returned to complain because I was so pissed off. I didn't even have to describe the dude because the lady at Customer Service knew exactly who I was talking about because apparently he's a well known douche. She told me that she would tell the manager and asked that I leave my number. The store manager, Colleen, called me and asked me to tell her what happened. After I told her, she said that he is fetching people's online orders and was probably scared to get near people because of corona virus. I was like are you freaking kidding me? The jerk was shouting at CUSTOMERS! Anyway, the employee at the service desk was professional and she should be the store manager. Walmart Supercenter is really great! The whole place is wide, clean, decent, and bright. Well-maintained and organized. They have a very huge variety of products here, meats, veggies, fruits, frozen goods, imported goods, ready-to-eat food, and others. You can literally buy anything here that you need daily. They have plenty of sections and each of them has a big label or banner, for the customers to easily find what they need and what they are looking for. Walmart is really an amazing place for shoppers who always buy tons of groceries and other items. You can really save a lot of money at this place than going to other places. This place has a big parking lot you can easily park your car and shop inside. Walmart is really an excellent store. They also have a pharmacy inside the place, for their customers to easily buy medicines and stuff, no need to walk and buy to other nearby pharmacies. I definitely recommend shopping here at Walmart. Seriously Walmart, get your act together. Learn to actually provide customer service, you are loosing a lot of revenue due to associations who simply can do their job, maybe consider additional training so you associates know how to actually do their job. Last Thursday I set up an appointment to have a set of new tires installed. Reviewed the in stock options with the department manager, set up an appointment for 11 am on Saturday, and was told to come in a little early. Fast forward to Saturday, arrived 10 min early. The same manager was there, said I do not have an appointment scheduled and I was not in the system. Not really sure how or what happened but there is really something wrong here. I would defiantly not recommend using this automotive center. I will not be spending any of my money at this Walmart, and most likely at any other in the future. read more

I have been getting groceries delivered from this store for the last three months. Today was the WORST experience ever. Our groceries were supposed to be delivered between 6-7 and never showed up. So I call customer service the first time and was put on hold for 10 min. Hang up and call again to be put on hold for 10 more minutes. This goes on for 45 minutes before I ask to speak to Colleen the manager. She gets on and is unbelievably RUDE and unprofessional. I finally get connected to the delivery department where I'm told that the delivery driver left without my order and they will have to request a new one for later. Ummmm.... what do you mean he just left? I was told they do this all the time then get a late night delivery for all the orders they missed! Such bad customer service and management. I bought a TV during a Black Friday promo and it recently stopped working. I hauled it back in (70" so not an easy task) and brought it to the returns desk. The team lead Halie called up Catie the electronics manager who agreed that even though it was out of the return time frame window, the fact that it was defective was reason enough to override that and give me a store credit. Through some difficulties with processing it Amh the front end coach helped out and after a few minutes I had a store credit in hand and headed back to the electronics department where I was greeted by Alex who helped me pick a new one and loaded me up to be on my way. What could have been a really annoying experience turned into an incredibly pleasant and helpful one and I would 10/10 recommended the Algonquin Walmart. Well done. read more

If I could give a 0, that's the rating I'd give. Specifically to the auto care department. KEEP YOUR VEHICLE AWAY!!! The people here have no idea what they're talking about (with the exception of a gentleman named George). It always seems like you're bugging them, and they're going out of their way to simply answer a question. Especially the department manager Dan and a staff member named Ron. Stay away from these 2 if you have no choice but to use this place. I also asked to speak with the store manager, Colleen, and was assured she'd call me. It's been 2 weeks and still no phone call. Holly painful. Lol. Stood in line at the tobacco line for 22min! Loterally 22min. Counted that. Wasnt busy, dude was just THAT slow. This store's online pickup is useless. If you get groceries you can park and they bring it to you but order ANYTHING ELSE and you have to come in, wait in a small waiting room with, literally, 2 chairs (we had 7 people waiting), and wait for someone to bring your order up. I thought it was stupid when you had to go to the back of the store, about the furthest back possible, and get your own item; that just took 5 minutes, this is even slower. read more

Their produce is filthy. If I need produce and I risk it buying it at Walmart 9/10 times the fruit will be at the very least wilted and/or rotten or moldy within a day. One day! Accept the bananas. I have no idea why. Some of their produce is already moldy and rotten just left out. The same goes for certain meats like bacon...the one time I brought this up to the guy in the meat department it was because a couple of the packages of bacon were grayish brown and the packages weren't sealed correctly any more he told me that they are not allowed to take out meats from the case and it's up to the manager to allow this...I threw it in the trash myself! read more

Horrible Walmart. Never ever can I get any good service there at any time of the day. I work late or work early doesn't matter, I came here today for the last time I will ever come, to have $140 worth of groceries be scanned and bagged by myself when they told me " yeah it's only self check out" ( was only 9:30pm at night). This isn't unreasonable. Employees standing around doing nothing or don't realize the amount of people in line at self check out to scan there own shit especially if it's more than 10 items. I shouldn't have to get off my own job to then have to do someone else's job. I hope this place will realize the amount of bad reviews I've seen and heard to either correct or replace all employees with good ones. Would review it 0 out of 5 if I could but I can't. This Walmart is your usual modern general store, get your groceries, home goods and car tires. So convenient! However their parking is atrocious. The lanes closest to each entrance only allows parking in one direction which cuts the number of spaces on half. It requires twice the driving just to find a spot, defeating the whole purpose of visiting a modern general store. You're time is more valuable. read more

Ordered an item online and selected instore pickup vs curbside as there were a few items i wanted to purchase instore that i couldnt find on website. 1st and foremost, this store has gone thru a reset and its been months and still not finished. Pharmacy sign still hanging where old pharmacy was, items are all over the place and so hard to locate. Now for main reason of visit(pu online order), i noticed the instore online pu area is no longer there so i asked the greeter. Greeter informs me i can pu my order at CS area. When i got to CS area, JESUS told me that i needed to drive around store and that they only did curbside pu. I explained my reason for doin instore pu and he rudely told me that the site is outdated like it was my fault. No apologies at all. Im already frustrated at this point and to make things worse, i drive arnd, get to a spot and checkin on my app. Sat there for 20 mins and nobody came out so i decided to call. Lady on phone couldnt find my order using my last name so she asked for my order#. While i was reading her my order# my WM app notified me that my order has been picked up. Clearly they are clueless and incompetent. I couldve gone in store and just grabbed the item i ordered from shelf and it wouldve saved me the time and inconvenience. WM should do a better job hiring. I worked in CS for 20 years and its #1 rule to apologize first for any inconvenience. Meijers and Target arent far at all so i dont know why i should continue to shop at this Walmart. Since when did Walmart start checking receipts at the front door ? Perhaps it is a good idea to let your customers know that this is happening so they aren't burnished at the door by a well meaning employee who really takes that job serious . Went today at about 5pm had to wait 15 minutes in a backed up line just to exit while a poor kid who tossed his receipt was getting yelled at in front of a crowd of people . Then we get told "you don't go anywhere until I see your receipt " ... uhm excuse me ? Luckily the poor kid pulled up the receipt of his app from his Apple Pay or something and they let him go. No apology or anything to all the people that were not only inconvenienced but experienced horrible customer service . Yikes . This Walmart has seen a lot of change over the years, for the better. Originally, this was your basic Walmart but was expanded in 2008 to include groceries and an improved pharmacy. You will find whatever you need here and at reasonable prices. Your typical Walmart, clean, organized and friendly staff. In fact, I prefer this Walmart to others I've visited. Avoid peak hours - try to come earlier in the day. They do get very busy. read more

This place is a ridiculous freaking mess! Never trust this website if it states something is in stock because frankly I believe they just do that to get people into the store. I've personally been burned twice by trusting their website. Also second time....today was the second time they do bait and switch pricing. I went in to purchase Christmas lights, I READ the description on the lights and compared it to what I was purchasing and sure enough, when I got up to the counter the price was four dollars higher on one set of lights and almost double the price on the other set of lights. They are hoping people are in such a rush they won't notice they are paying more for what they are getting. Walmart, you guys have turned into some pretty bad dirt bags. I brought it up to the attention to a manager who basically said they had a lot of people in the store that day and people were moving things a lot. You know what, not when you have an ENTIRE BOX of items next to a price listed with the same description. I must say thank you to you for one thing. I had called the store and talked to someone in the you department asking about a specific product. I was told there is one left and it showed on line that there where 2 left. When I called they said they would hold it for me. I drove through the snow and when I got there it wasn't the right one and it was $80 more. I was very nice and explained to Holly what happened. I have never had a big problem with this Walmart until today. I went to return something with my mom as returns were finally allowed. I was more than a bit cranky because I couldn't understand why they couldn't open up more return registers and the return line was ridiculously long. A few of the employees were nice enough to explain that everyone had to be six feet away (though it made little sense because most of the employees were so close to each other they were almost touching as they walked down the aisles). The lady who did our return though was incredibly rude. She told my mom she felt sorry for her and that I needed to take a chill pill. I've been in customer service my whole life and NEVER is it ok to insult a customer. You're supposed to be empathetic and mitigate the customer's anger, not insult them. In my whole life this is the first negative review I have ever given and I"m an normally a super sweet person. I suppose if a shopping place and an employee can bring me to this level of anger it's best to stay far away. I will never be shopping at this Walmart again. read more

This store is terrible. Had an order that I was to pick up in store and they cancelled when I still had 3 hours to pick it up. I called the store to find out why order was cancelled and I was asked to wait for a manager and after waiting on hold for over ten minutes a girl came on the phone and just said that they still have my order. I went to the store to pick it up and they were unable to find it. I was waiting for a manager for over 30 minutes. To find out that they pulled the wrong items. Stay away from this store. read more
